This is my second time using Celebrities Grooming. The first time I only took one dog and they did okay. The second time I took 3 dogs and they were not organized and did not have enough workers to groom the dogs. Instead of them asking me to schedule for another day, they called the owner Debbie to come to work and she instantly had an attitude with me. She called and said one of my long haired dogs had mats and it would be an up charge to de-mat her. I knew the dog had 3 small mats. I told Debbie yo call if the matting process went over one hour. She did not call. In fact they did not groom the dog and still charged me $40. Debbie has left for the day when the employee called for us to pick up the dogs. The employee told me to bring the dog back the next day to get groomed and I wouldn't charged again. Now this place is refusing to take my dog. I called the owner twice asking for her to call me back about my concerns and she texted saying keep your dog home. No explanation, no apology, no customer service. Stay away from this place. They are prejudice, unorganized, and unethical. read more

Do not believe the owner Debbie. She will tell you what you want to hear then turn around and change it to her benefit. She bought out a groomer in Manvel of which I went to for almost 7 years. I took my Yorkie every two weeks FAITHFULLY for almost 7 years. The owners had to sell due to husband's health. I was told by the new owner Debbie that the mobile van WOULD come to my house in Pearland for a certain price (which was higher than I was paying) once a month since I had been such a valuable customer! Then she changed it after couple of visits & said the van would have to come every 2 weeks. I agreed even though it upped the price to about double. Then Debbie changed again & said the mobile groomer could not come to service my little dog anymore since she was losing money. WHAT??? So disappointed with her lying to me. She said she WOULD service my dog. Not just try it out. She even informed me with a voicemail. I know she has done this to others as well. Is this the kind of dishonest uncaring person you want to groom your precious pup??!! read more

I am so disappointed. I had heard great things but there are a few things. 1. pricing the owner did not provide the pricing and I tried to get in touch with her over and over again but no one answered. I did not find out about the pricing until the day/time of the appointment including the fuel charge. 2. My dogs hair cut by Nicole is uneven the top of their head is really choppy. One of my dogs have long hair still on the belly. The groomer and owner was nice but I am not sure that I will be returning. I paid $200.00 and this cut is no better than when I took them to petsmart for less money. I did love the convenience of them being groomed on location but it would have cost me less than 15.00 to go down the street and get them groomed. Nice people but nothing special about the groom. I asked for teddy bear faces on my dogs and that was not done. My dogs were matted but that was fine because I wanted all of the hair cut off. The last minute pricing information and incorrect groom means I will not be returning but they are really nice people. read more

No stars!!! We took our family mini schnauzer to get groomed a few days ago. He was limping when he came home and was rubbing around his face. It wasnt until I tried to touch his paws when I noticed a rough abrasion. The pads of his paws had been scraped badly and his face had been deeply cut between his eyes. These abrasions were purely from neglect and/or lack of attention during this service by the groomers. When we contacted the business they blamed our dog's behavior. Well, it's up to the professional to know how to handle pets with care. I'm a hairstylist, I don't cut or scrape my unruly clients when they can't sit still during a service. Word of advice, don't bring your pets here!! read more

I took my mini poodle here for grooming. When I went to pick him up, the lady told me that that my dog tried to bite her when she was grooming around his paws. And I said yeah he sometimes jerks his head up and places his mouth near or on your hand but then stops, this is his way of making sure you don't hurt him. But he has never bit down on any of my family member's skin or flesh, even when we accidentally hurt him. And she continued to tell me that he really did bite down on her hand. To me this is odd behavior, so 1) either she was being rough with my poodle or 2) he didn't really bite her, and in this case, she shouldn't been accusing my dog or exaggerating what he did. From the reviews, it seems like they don't treat the dogs gently, so I think it was a combination of both. I'm not bringing my poodle back here. read more

Celebrities is not a terrible place, but they are not particularly great. My Pomeranian always as dandruff flakes when they groom her and they don't cut hair well. My dog's hair is always boxy and it seems very amateur. Not what I request. I've been looking for someplace else. It's $45 for my pom's bath and cut. They say they cut her nails but don't. For the quality of service, it's not a good price. read more

I'm kind of shocked by the negative reviews I'm reading here. I've been taking my yorkie to Celebrities for many years. I know they had problems with an employee a while back and I was not impressed with her, but as I understand it, they let her go once they realized there was a problem. I certainly have not seen her. While she was there, I took my dog to another groomer. Now that she is gone, we're back. They are great about working my dog in on short notice and he always comes back looking good. If I wasn't pleased with the way they groomed him, I would let them know that I wanted them to trim a little more here or there, etc., or would certainly ask them to make the changes on the next grooming. He's never had dandruff or flaky skin after going there. Overall, I think they do a good, solid job. Don't forget to ask for the cologne when you pick your dog up! read more

This place looks a bit ghetto, I'll be honest. (It looks better now.) But the staff is decent... The prices are OKAY (UH SUPER HIGH NOW!) ... It's about $50 + tip to have the Peekapoo groomed... They should invest a bit more in their first impression zone... Maybe paint or add some cute decor. EDIT: NOW IT'S 59 bucks; they raised the price bc of the "Mohawk" but didn't feel so inclined to tell us beforehand. I'm done with their antics. Looking for a new groomer. read more

Love this place! Very affordable, superb customer service, and most importantly my dogs love them! I have an English Bulldog and a Shih Tzu and they get so excited when we pull up at celebrities! My dogs get baths and grooming regularly and have been boarded a few times a year. No complaints! read more

I normally take my dog here for a shave and bath, there where no issue in the past. Today I took my dog here for a bath, so when I dropped him off I mention that I did not want to use the regular shampoo he has dry skin and the past they used a special shampoo. The groomer working the desk mention different shampoo and conditioner and so I said ok, worst mistake as his whole body has a white layer is flaking off. They always used a special oatmeal shampoo and conditioner. I left as they had no recommendation what to do for his skin. Warning do not take recommendation from the groomers! I will be taking my dog back to pets smart. read more

As usual, I picked up one of my collies from Celebrities Dog Grooming today and she looked like a movie star! Lassie has nothing on her! The women who work there are highly skilled. More important to me, since my dogs are from Houston Collie Rescue, the groomers are gentle and compassionate. They are worth every penny they charge. Actually, they are worth more, so I try to bring them breakfast on the days that I'm bringing them a big hairy mess of a collie or two. I give them the highest of recommendations. read more

This is the worst dog spa ever! Do NOT take your dog here. The employees and owner hurt the dogs and allow their dogs to roam freely throughout and interact with our dogs when they are there without our consent. One of the dogs almost bite mine and the owner was not even apologetic in the least. Also the spa always seemed dirty and unclean. My dog got fleas there and a scar under his right leg and they denied it and were so unprofessional when I called to ask what happened to my pooch. She is rude and has no customer service skills. I would never recommend this place to anyone and now take my dog to a safer and cleaner grooming salon. Do your research and stay away from "Celebrities Dog Grooming." read more

My dogs are my heart and soul. My yorkie-poo is especially endearing. She has had a blood disease and now has diabetes. I would not take her to a groomer I did not trust.
