We were at Mohegan for the Chocolate Expo & wanted to check out the "new" Bobby's Burgers after the rebranding etc. After reading many recent reviews, we were worried we would be disappointed but we loved the food, service and atmosphere of the place. We had a crunch burger, Bobby Blue & Bacon, Fried Chicken Sandwich & sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious! We were surprised how great the chicken sandwich was since we are picky and it exceeded our expectations! They still had the frozen cactus margaritas and Ashwin & Julian took very good care of us and were friendly & helpful. The only negative was the cafeteria style trays with the paper boxes. They are great for take out but when people dine in, they really should use plates for the food (like they used to). The food is still delicious & the service is excellent and we will be back.

I really did like the taste of the food but they messed up both of our orders and the place was honestly such a mess, especially for the amount of people that I saw on staff. Trash was piled in all the trash cans, trays everywhere, none of the tables look like they'd been wiped, etc. When I ordered my food I requested a "plain bacon cheeseburger," she repeated it back to me saying she keyed in a "crunch burger," I once again clarified and wound up with a burger with sauce and such on it. When I brought it up to have it fixed they then told me that it's what I ordered, I'm not sure how much more clear I can be beyond "plain bacon cheeseburger." They did wind up fixing it but still for $60 I would hope it would come out right, or at least they would just fix it. I will say though if it was ran a little better I would give 4/5 stars because the food was genuinely very good.

I miss BBP, formerly known as Bobby's Burger Palace. More choices previously and ability to get your burger cooked exactly as you wanted it instead of just medium or well done. Also had the ability to have 1/2 and 1/2 sides like half sweet potato and half regular fries.

I always have to come to Bobby's when I visit Mohegan. It's a rare gem of a burger place. Everything about the burgers is top notch from the meat to the bun. When you go up to order at the counter they give you a number and you take a seat at the counter or the long communal table. I like how the counter weaves through the restaurant rather than being a straight line. The ambiance here is simple, but pleasant. The service at the counter is very quick and you help yourself to fountain drinks I've had several of the burgers here but today I chose their Little Italy Burger, which was a special for the season. My wife ordered the Bobby's Veggie burger. The Little Italy was delicious. It has a spicy tomato sauce on it and Parmesan cheese. Almost reminded me of a meatball grinder. I will note that I order my burgers here medium rare, but they always come out a little closer to rare. Order it medium if you want it closer to medium rare, I think. The veggie burger is really good. It's made up of quinoa and bbq'd mushrooms. We also got fries, which are always perfect here and I love their sauce. Overall, always a great deal here at Mohegan!

Great option for a quick sit-down dinner at the casino. Burgers are delicious and well made. Staff is very friendly and always had a smile. Fries were a very large size order, plenty to share.

I enjoy eating at the bar too but the dining area is nice too for children and large parties. You walk up and order and they give you a number for your table. Sodas/waters are available for self service at the Coca Cola freestyle machine after you receive your cups after ordering. You pick your seat in the dining area and when your order is ready the staff brings it out to you. The dining area is clean. It's moderate for noise because it is an open restaurant in the casino. The burgers are good and moderately priced for casino food. Their fries are amazing! I personally love the sweet potato fries. Fries are hand cut. I enjoy Bobby's Burger Palace when I'm at the casino. Quick bite that's affordable.

Fries changed, burger changed, are we at McDonald's now for $20? What a disappointment

Why change what worked? Basic burger, fries are boring. What you had was great now it's wayyy downhill. Congrats on making your spot worse Bobby

Came here before the Switchfoot concert. There was a long line but we we're seated quick I got the citrus pear, frozen margarita I also got the crunch burger with a side of fries. The burger was cooked just how I wanted. Everything was very good. Unlimited refills on soda.

Hi needed a breakfast sandwich in my life today. I was at the casino early this morning and I tried Bobby's Burger Palace. They now do breakfast. The sandwich was very good. Never had a breakfast sandwich with chips but it worked. It's served with a BBP special sauce. It was good but certainly my opinion is it works well on a burger or chicken sandwich. The service was interesting to get you food. You place your order at the counter out front. Next you seat yourself with a number card. They bring your order to the table. Then you are on your own. I was expecting red carpet treatment because it's Bobby. LOL If you've seen him on his cooking show you would understand. The ambiance put me in the mind of an old fashioned NYC F.W. Woolworths lunch counter. Most New Yorkers would get this reference. Thanks Bobby because you took me back to a good childhood memory. I'm not a burger gal so go check out Bobby's Palace it will not disappoint. The waitress Kate was exceptional. Thank God good customer service does still really exist.

The vibe is still solid and the concept is fun, but the execution just hasn't been there. The French dip was a major letdown--dry, bland, and missing the savory punch that makes the dish worth ordering. It felt more like an afterthought than a signature comfort item. Rapidly declining over time. Beer hasn't fared much better. Three out of my last four visits, the beer was served warm, which really takes the enjoyment out of the experience. For a place that leans on its bar identity, that's a tough miss. Service has been consistently lackluster, not rude but disengaged and slow, like everyone's half a step behind. It adds up, especially when the food and drinks aren't hitting the mark. There's still potential here, and the space itself remains appealing, but the recent decline is hard to ignore. With a little attention to quality and consistency, Tom Urban could get back to what made it a favorite in the first place. Cheers

It's actually one of the more expensive restaurants on the Mohegan Sun property. The others are high value, this place takes the cash but the portions oof. I'm sure they will blame tariffs, Iran, Ukraine, Palestine or some political issue for it but the fact is the markup is extreme especially even more so for a dive theme restaurant. Example lobster at fish market is $6-10 per lb in the region, in the summer the price is lower. Yet lobster here starts at nearly $80 and up. That's a lot higher than the standard markup. Got the Fisherman's platter portion size not impressed for the price. Taste completely unseasoned, already a horrible start. The shrimp were way overcooked. The Fish bland, and tough, overcooked as well. The scallops good natural flavor, unseasoned and also overcooked. Truly sad cause if prepared right while a bit overpriced probably the closest thing to a fair price it would have been a home run. Can confirm seasoning does actually improve taste if only the cook/chef knew that. Food is still overcooked but salt and pepper does help it go down. The waitress was great that is a plus and the beer was solid. Overall the casino has better options, looked like a cool place had a line waiting for open but disappointing the food was overcooked and bland. Always willing to give another chance but first impression wasn't good at all. Staff is amazing so that's a plus.

Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana is a New Haven-style pizzeria that opened in New Haven, Connecticut…read morein 1925. It was founded by Francesco "Frank" Pepe: an immigrant from Maiori, Italy. Pepe first arrived in America in 1909 at the age of sixteen. He eventually learned the baking trade and for a time he worked at Generoso Muro's Bakery. In 1925, a one-story brick bakery owned by the Boccamaiello Family at 163 Wooster Street became available for rent. Pepe seized the opportunity to start his own business. At first, Pepe mainly baked and delivered bread. Eventually, he began making pizza. The only toppings were tomato sauce and grated Romano cheese; anchovies were a traditional add-on item. Pepe would travel up and down the streets selling his pizza on a pot that he balanced on his head, and then eventually from a wagon. After years of success, Pepe purchased the apartment building that he lived at and converted the ground floor into a grand pizzeria. The new pizzeria opened in summer 1936; at the time, it was the largest pizzeria in the United States. Throughout the 1950s-60s, Pepe experimented with putting fresh shucked clams on the pizza. Today the "White Clam Pie" is considered Frank Pepe's signature pizza. Frank Pepe passed away in 1969, but his legacy lives on. The original pizzeria owned by the Boccamaiello Family was later reopened under the name "The Spot". It was purchased by the Pepe Family in 1981 and reopened as a satellite location. The Pepe Family later franchised the brand. Aside from the two original locations in New Haven, there are now eight other locations in Connecticut and an additional eight throughout the East Coast. On a recent trip to see a concert at Mohegan Sun Casino, my older son and I stopped for dinner at the Pepe's location there (which opened in July 2009). I've visited this location a number of times before. Although a number of people have been critical of the pizza here, I've never had a bad experience. My son and I ordered and shared three small pies: the "Fresh Tomato Pie" (summer seasonal special: fresh native tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, garlic, grated Pecorino Romano & olive oil), the "Margherita" (crushed Italian tomatoes, fresh mozzarella & fresh basil), and the "Spinach, Mushroom & Gorgonzola" (mozzarella, spinach, mushroom & gorgonzola). We paired the pizzas with some locally-produced Foxon Park White Birch Beer. The toppings were fresh, the crust was crisp, and the flavor was explosive! My son and I ate about half of the pizzas, boxed the leftovers, and shared some delicious "Chocolate & Vanilla Gelato" for dessert. Great food and great service! Sure, the pizza here isn't as good as the pizza at the original New Haven location, but it's still WAY better than any other pizza that you're going to find in this area. We'll continue to eat here during future trips to Mohegan Sun!
