The size was easily that of a MEDIUM, totaling $23.50 without beverages!!! Funny, the credit reader was working again, and the prices spiked. Don't ever come to this restaurant they have roaches they have horrible service it's not like when Cindy and Jerry were running it and the waitstaff are okay there is a very nice girl that just started there and I think the other staff treat her pretty bad she seems to be very nice to everybody. I've only seen her for probably about a month now. I don't like the fact of the the roaches I don't like the fact of my food has to be undercooked or waiting over 45 minutes to get my meal or it never is given at the right time and they believe it on something else. A lot of the staff have been very rude lately especially one woman I don't know what her name is but she's been there for a while and she's very nasty to all of the customers anytime you tell them that she makes a mistake she does not say that she has made a mistake. No one wears gloves there when they're making the food except for the one girl that just started that I was talking about that wears gloves when she was making my salad and I actually saw her doing it but besides that nobody else has worn gloves. We've exclusively used the app "Slice" for all our deliveries and takeouts. Over the past year our orders and time predictions have never been wrong. Taste is always good and quite distinct. My only gripe(which could be said of most pizza places) is many meats are only available fried. It did not specifically state fried on the app. I got excited once and made my own custom meatzza with shrimp, clam, chicken, steak, etc.. I was imagining a protein dense super meal. You are allowed to eat in, but you have to go to the counter place your order, get a number and wait for your number to be called from your table. Paper plates and disposable cutlery. Occum Pizza is great. I once ordered a Hamburger Onion Pizza. I didn't like the way it was made, but they gave me a gift certificate which they honored, and made me take the Pizza anyway. They made it like a cheeseburger Pizza. When I got home, it was delicious. It threw me off when I opened the pizza and all I saw was lettuce/Salad. Well I would order that again. Delicious pizza and we ended up getting the buy 3 large and get one large pizza for free on Wednesday's only. The sauce is very tasty and the service was friendly with a home style touch. If you have more than 4-5 people there is a great place in the beginning of the restaurant that will accommodate that, other wise there and booths for 4 people in the majority of the restaurant. We have been to Occum pizza a few times in the past but never witten a review of this place. I will say we have had their Taco Pizza many times in the past and consider it to be the best around. This visit we decided to try some items we have not had before. We started with wing dings, these are a pre-breaded frozen product; with that said it is also some of the best fried wings you can get. The wing dings come 10 pieces to an order for about 8.00. My dinner partner ordered the spaghetti and meatball pizza, he had never heard of this and wanted to try it. He took a bite and his eyes rolled all the way back, this item is a total 5 all day, this pizza was 10.75 for a small and it's totally worth it. I ordered a meatball calzone with fried green peppers and provalone cheese in addition to the mozzarella - cheddar blend and ricotta cheese. I believe this calzone priced out to 12.00 or so and it was so worth it. I need to give Occum pizza a round of applause, the three previous establishments I have been to "proudly" serve frozen meatballs, I was so pleasantly surprised that this place makes their meatballs and they are slamming good. We ending the meal with my favorite dessert; rice pudding. I give this dessert a 4 out 5 because I'm not a fan of rasins in my rice pudding. It did however have a nice taste and texture and I would order ir again. Our server (I'm sorry I forgot your name) was amazing; she was personal and professional, she knew the menu and was able to make some good suggestions. Our final bill befor tip came to about 46.00 and we had no buyers remorse and look forward to our next visit. For context we live about 45 minutes with no traffic from this place. It came with what looked like one lonely previously frozen chicken tender a small handful of romaine and a few meager shavings of parmesan for a whopping $8.99 !?!?!?!?! It was a sad salad. I ordered the crispy buffalo chicken specialty white pizza once and it was absolutely delicious and I raved about it.
