Bobcat Bonnies is awesome and usually pretty reliable to get a seat when the city is busy because they have a hardworking staff and a lot of seating options. I'd also say it's the perfect spot to hit up before a concert or event because you can count on getting in and out pretty quickly. Their drink menu is big, so if you're looking to have a good time with your friends, this is the place to be. And to go with the drinks, don't forget about the appetizers! The elote queso is my personal fave, but they've got a bunch of other options too. Plus, they've got some killer specials and deals throughout the week. The staff at Bobcat Bonnies is always super friendly, and the place itself has fun murals and decor. It's got this warm and welcoming vibe that just makes you feel right at home. Although, I gotta admit, I've been getting a little bored with the menu lately. But that might just be me!

It is our first time here and it was okay. The spicy bowl was good. The tater tots were Luke warm to cold and overcooked. I ordered a draft beer and got a can of beer. A couple different staff members at our table because they didn't know who was waiting on us which would explain the long wait for the beer delivery. I didn't take a lot of photos.

I now know why I see so many good reviews for this place. Great food at a reasonable price, good service ( ask for Enery because he knows how to handle large groups that need separate checks), and interesting atmosphere. The menu is not a long one but there is something for most taste. Having a shorter menu means a fast kitchen which we all noticed. We got our food much quicker than other places our group have gone. My sesame chicken was a little more spicy than I wanted but was just as good warmed up the next day. All at the table loved the food. Parking can be tough on busy nights and larger groups should make reservations since this is a popular place for many reasons. Will be back.

Great spot for dinner! So many vegan options to choose from- vegan fish and chips were delicious. Next time I will have to try the vegan fish tacos. Wonderful ambiance- as seen with purple lighting in photo. They were also playing Harry Potter on the tv soo big win

This was an incredible brunch! So good. The pancakes were amazing. Such a good price for the amount they give you. I ate some here then took them home for dinner and had the two kids share with me and I still have some left. I got the fruity pebble flavor, super adorable to look at but the taste was even better, tasted very fresh and housemade. I also tried the huevos rancheros. It was absolutely delicious! It also so had a huge portion with a lot of pulled pork, crispy tortillas, yummy cheese. Share that for dinner as well with the kids. I tried their mimosa and Bloody Mary bar drinks, so fun. A lot of good choices of juices and toppings. Not as cheap as a few years ago according to Yelp, but still a great value for today's market. I only got the single since I am not a double kind of person, I need more mixer. We also tried the breakfast burrito with chicken and the normal pancakes. Both good. I place is cute, fun space with great decor. I enjoy coming to Ferndale on a Sunday morning. We sat near the window for some good people watching and the light snow helped with the ambience. The servers seems nice but it was very strange. We started with a woman but then a man became our server without explanation. Not sure why, perhaps it was his section and she was helping but it was interesting. I also hear from my husband he made a comment about the amount of carbs we ordered? But he does not know us, we are the type of over order to try a lot then take home the leftovers. I like to do that especially since I eat the dishes for more than one meal, in this case, I still have more left for later. Still a great place, I will be back. I would love to have their brunch again and maybe even their lunch and dinner but for me breakfast is where it's at.

Chicken Avocado Sandwich, gluten free chopped salad, cocktail

This location has parking all around and a cute interior. I ordered the chicken avocado sandwich and it was delicious 10/10 the amount of tater tots were generous and okay but I am not personally a fried potato fan. The mimosas here are such a cute experience. With a base order of alcohol you walk over to their mimosa station to choose your choice of juice and toppings ranging from mango, strawberry, herbs, and sauces? This is also a very gluten free and vegan friendly restaurant. Overall would come again

A massive beer whose name I remembered until I finished drinking it. This was a strong, miniature bathtub sized beer.

I'll have to be honest. When I first heard the name of this restaurant, I thought it had a snarling "old west" sounding name, like One Eyed Betty's. If I opened a restaurant called Bronco Billy's, you'd go to try it out, wouldn't you? Of course you would! I admit that the name brought me here. I'm glad they tricked me into coming here. Once, we opened with beautifully greasy tortilla chips, with a rich cheese dip. Most recently, we had a spinach artichoke dip. Seriously, look at the picture: there is spinach underneath that rich blanket of cheddar. It's my new favorite food combo. Sorry, Reese's peanut butter cups. The lobster bisque was gorgeously rich, and very lobstery: It's like the lobster claws clamp down on your taste buds and you hear LOBSTER!! I got the shrimp po boy with tots. I will always order tots if it's on the menu, and these were crispy little tater bombs. But, the po boy? I'm sorry to say we Northerners frequently get it wrong at restaurants. Everything about it is great, from the thick French bread to the fresh shrimp to the remoulade that was just spicy enough. But, give me a few more shrimp, and I will be extremely happy. This is very tasty, but I want more of it. Another time, I got the mushroom melt. The mushrooms are robust and flavorful, plus there is ample tasty cheese and onions. How could you screw that up? Here's how. You say you want to substitute the flawless and quite hefty French bread for naan bread. I don't recommend this. It was a sloppy mess, and it ruined the bread. I couldn't save myself from this disaster, but the waiter rescued me by bringing me the proper bread. Sometimes, the customer is not always right. You can tell you really like a place when you start talking about the next time you can eat there before you actually finish your meal. That happened here. I haven't tried everything on the menu yet.

    Buffalo Tacos
    Daryl O.

We had a variety of things including Buffalo Chicken Nachos and Spinach dip for starters. Both very delicious! I then had three tacos for the Taco Tuesday. Perfect meal with three tacos. I had the meet and cheese and the buffalo tacos. The buffalo had a little more heat than I typically care for but super tasty. Our waitress took clearest care of us as well. Wasn't super crowded on a Tuesday evening so that made it pleasant but I can imagine they pack them in because the food is awesome.

Came here on a Sunday with my family for brunch to celebrate my birthday. It was pretty loud and the seating was kind of cramped. We had a party of 6 and we're seated at a table with only 5 seats. My husband and I were the first to arrive from our reservation. We ordered drinks, double mimosa, double bloody Mary, and a beer. It took at least 10, maybe 15 minutes, for them to arrive at our table. Which is crazy considering how simple what we ordered was. My glass for my mimosa was too tall and actually wouldn't fit under the juice canisters for the mimosa bar, and the Bloody Mary bar was very bare and out of a lot of ingredients (and no it was not almost time for brunch to be ending). The rest of our party arrived and we placed our food order. I ordered the chicken avo sandwich with fries, which was nothing special at all, sort of flavorless. My husband got the smothered potatoes with carnitas and eggs. He said they were mediocre, I thought they had much more flavor than my sandwich. After we got our food no one came back to check and make sure they everything was ok. We were waiting on a chance to ask for hot sauce but we're unsuccessful in waving someone down. My sister also order some of their cereal shooters (when we placed our food order) which were brought out at the very end of our meal. You could tell they had been just sitting as the whipped cream on top had started to melt. And it wasn't even the correct ones that she ordered. The waiter was nice enough to take them off of the bill for us. The hi-light of our meal was my husbands Bloody Mary, which was from the build it yourself Bloody Mary bar. I really wanted to like this place but this visit was not ideal. The place wasn't even that busy for them to be so inattentive. This was my first time eating here, and I can say I won't be rushing back anytime soon.

Such a cute restaurant with a very diverse menu. They are still limiting table space/social distancing so our party of 5 had a 20 minute wait on a Friday afternoon. Our waiter Dada was awesome and very attentive! We decided to share a bunch of plates at the table to get a taste of everything. I'd skip the loaded tots. They were hard to pick apart but everything else was good. The drinks were super tasty and most were priced around $10. I recommend the Purple Rain with sparkle. It packs a punch and is super photogenic! Parking is easier in the back of the restaurant but it's a charge (not much though).

    Salmon Caesar Salad
    Melissa B.

My first time here was last Friday night and it was such a great experience! We arrived for dinner around 6 and we had a concert in Detroit that night so we were on a little bit of a time crunch. We let our server know and he was on top of it and super helpful to get us in and out the door! I had the Salmon Caesar Salad and it was delish! The salmon was cooked perfectly and I love a good Caesar salad. My friends both got burgers and they enjoyed their meals as well. We were out the door by 6:45/7! The place was decorated super cute for Christmas and the overall atmosphere here is nice though the lighting is pretty dark. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fairly priced and good quality meal in downtown Ferndale!

    Blackberry margaritas
    Amy H.

My sister and I had a great pre-theater meal and drinks the other night. Starting with delicious $6 (special) blackberry margaritas was a great idea! They were so good (but not super strong!) We also shared the elote queso dip which was fantastic! I could've made a meal out of just that! We then shared the naan sandwich with steak. The steak was wonderfully cooked and very flavorful. Great job. Bobcat Bonnie's!

The servers are all well trained, and highly professional. The food is fantastic. The menu is the standout; it is very creative and has something for everyone. Let's start with their breakfast. This is probably the best breakfast/brunch place in town. Too bad they're only open weekends for breakfast. Whenever we have family back in town or friends from out of town, this is our go to place.
