We were at LCA for a Wings game so we wanted to sample one of the dining options at the arena. The menu at The Mixing Board looked like the best of the bunch and the line wasn't too bad, so we gave it a shot. We started with the Bacon Wrapped Dates, which were tasty. My wife and I split a salad and a flatbread. The pesto chicken flatbread was good but I was a little disappointed in the salad. I'm not a fan of salads being served as a chunk of a head of romaine - just rip it up like a normal salad! One daughter had the tacos and the other had the shrimp as an appetizer and they both seemed satisfied with their selections. Our server was nice, but we ended up missing the start of the game because they were slow to get us our food.

Pretty expensive and service is somewhat slow, so plan accordingly. We've stopped in here a few times before a Red Wings game. As you can imagine, it gets pretty busy. However, I feel that they should be a little more prepared to service customers in a timely manner, as people most likely have somewhere to be. Portion sizes are pretty small and it's pretty expensive.

This fun vibrant restaurant is my favorite Little Caesar's Arena place to eat prior to a concert or game. There are multiple items on the menu we want to try. On this trip, we had two types of the flatbread and they were both exceptional. We ordered a bottle of wine which was poured into a heavy duty wine craft with a snap on lid. We were told we could take it into the arena if we didn't finish. We ordered a second one to take with us. The service was friendly and excellent. If you are not aware, on game and concert days, The Mixing Board opens early and you get screened coming into the restaurant. You then can go into the area when it opens without a long line and another screening. We will be back to The Mixing Board for each Little Caesar's Arena event. I highly recommend this venue.

Good food, but service needs improvement. We ordered an app to have it arrive 10 minutes after we received our food. Our drinks weren't full and they don't service iced tea - what!? The food options were solid, but the service really left a bad taste in our mouths. At least after we got to watch the pistons win to bring the mood back up - dramatic, I know! But come on.... I think the food brought this up from 1/2 stars, but they need to get it together or we will eat away from Lca next time...

Stopped into TAP at the MGM Grand for a late, light lunch. I wanted to take it easy and "pregame"…read morefor a big dinner later this evening, so a salad felt like the right move. Fair to say the Asian Chicken Salad is good, but not great. It's a massive portion with plenty of Napa cabbage and spinach, providing that much-needed crunch. However, the grilled chicken was a bit of a letdown--it really needed more flavor and seasoning to hold its own. The saving grace and clear highlight were the spiced cashews. They actually had some personality and stood out as the best part of the dish. It's a solid enough choice if you're looking to stay on the healthy side while hanging out in a sports bar, but it's not a "must-order. Plenty of screens for sports viewing, and lots of beers on tap (obviously), staff service was good.

She's in poor health, and in the chaos of leaving home I forgot to bring something to wrap her nighttime medication in. Since TAP has turkey sandwiches on their menu, I explained that I was a hotel guest and asked if they could spare a small piece of turkey - just enough to wrap a pill in for an elderly dog upstairs. A kitchen worker (who was very nice, by the way) offered to check, but the chef refused outright. Not "this is against XYZ policy," not "we're too busy," just a flat no. I was standing right there for the entire exchange. Anyone genuinely suited to a hospitality role would have recognized this as an easy moment to generate some goodwill, but instead, the chef shut it down without a second thought. I spent a lot to stay at the MGM Grand Detroit Hotel, and this interaction left a genuinely negative impression of MGM overall. It made an already difficult day worse. I truly hope the individual who refused this request can one day recognize that hospitality is built on moments exactly like this.

Really friendly service from start to finish, starting with the doormen all the way to the hostess and then the bartender. Everyone seemed like they were in a great mood, and this was a great spot to kick off my trip to Detroit. I went with the Cigar City Brewing Co IPA and it was crisp and delicious! The inside of the club was nice, but only complaint was they could do with more ambiance/dimmed lighting. It was a little too bright for a club. The rooftop has great views, a small fire pit, and several chairs around it. Probably 180 degrees unobstructed view, so could be great for a nice (panoramic) photo of the city or a selfie. I'll definitely be back on my next trip!

We ended up parking in the Z Lot. The bartenders and support staff were too few and slow to respond to dirty plates, etc., The buffet oddly had nuts and other difficult to serve items on platers. Who places nuts on a plater and then provides tongs as the serving utensils. The food was not served in the correct order. There were no napkins to be found anywhere near the food! The food was subpar and underwhelming.
