    Mochi donuts
    Shirley H.

Tried a variety of their mochi donuts and they were pretty yummy! The dough was chewy and had a slightly crunchy outer layer like they were fried that day. I actually preferred them the day after when they tasted a bit softer. The Oreo and cereal flavors were the best. Shout out to the employee for being sweet and friendly!

Been on the hunt to find my new mochi donut spot! I was an avid fan of Fill's Bakeshop before they closed down. Bober is now my new go-to mochi donut place! The donuts are BEAUTIFUL! They're literally so aesthetic. And the packaging is quite pretty as well. These donuts are definitely a show stopper if you're throwing a party. As for the donut itself, it's good! I like that the donut isn't sweet. The glazes are what bring the donut most of it's sweetness. My favorite flavor is definitely the mango one! They aren't the BEST mochi donuts I've ever had, but if you have a craving, they're definitely good!

Came here after dinner with a friend because we wanted to get something sweet and Bober was in the vicinity. We also wanted to get the surprise cup for an extra special treat. I ordered a brown sugar milk tea while my friend got the milk tea. The staff who helped was very patient when we were making our choices and let us know there were no more surprise cups, so we were slightly disappointed. After waiting for a bit, our drinks came out and we left. The shop was empty when we came in and empty when we left - the surprise cups seemed to have been a big draw for customers as it was packed the last time we were there. Both teas were good. I opted to not have boba pearls this time as it wasn't very good the last time I had it from this location. I was tempted by the mochi donuts, but decided I was too full from dinner. My drink was slightly sweeter than usual, but it wasn't too bad. Still cutely decorated inside and very picturesque.

Cute + Tasty + Instagrammable Japanese Donuts. This little shop is in the same plaza as BCD Tofu House. It's a small chain that specializes in Japanese mochi donuts and milk tea/coffee drinks. The donuts are really good, and the pink gift box packaging is super pretty, perfect for gifting! The inside is also cute, with a full wall of fake flowers and grass, plus a pink carousel that makes it great for photos. The staff were really friendly too and they even asked if we wanted some water and offered to help take our pictures. Restaurant is clean, too. Big bonus points! Very delicious and authentic Che. We got the number 1 house special and number 5 coconut smash. Both were decadent and full of flavors Hands down would come again. mmm

I never tried this place before, but it was SO CUTE INSIDE! They have a lot of options on the menu to choose from. I decided to go with a mango tea it tasted so fresh and not too sweet. I would recommend to come sit inside and enjoy your drink!

    Every flavor is delicious!!

Friendly staff. The best mochi donuts. Great texture and great flavor options. My favorite is the fruity pebbles as the crunchy cereal really adds to the texture profile. Super cute interior too!

A no bo-brainer. Garden Grove is stacked with some of the best bubble tea shops in CA, so it's pretty much impossible for me to visit this city without grabbing boba. Typically I avoid boba shops with gimmicks, so this trendy little spot didn't intentionally catch my eye. I'm so glad Bober proved me wrong! This is by far one of the best drinks I've had in a long time. I ordered the honey green tea with cheese foam and double boba. The perfect balance of sweet to salty. I'd easily visit again for round two! Be sure to add this biz to your must-try bubble tea list.

Interior design 10/10, drinks a solid 6/10. Didn't take pictures of my drinks, but we got Brown Sugar Matcha and the Supreme Pink Pear Green Tea and they were not really it.. Sad because the tapioca pearls in our drink weren't soft and more on the harder side and the drinks were bitter/watered down. Bummer because the ambience and decor is super cute but not sure if I'd try other drinks again..

Bober Tea & Coffee is decorated cute and it has a carousel horse at the entrance. I ordered the OG Vietnamese coffee, which was delicious and left me wanting to come back to try more from their menu. You can order through the kiosk or at the counter. They have a large selection of mochi donuts as well. One of the highlights is their surprise cup drinks - for a small extra charge, you get a fun, unique drink experience where you get to reveal a plushie. I love Hello Kitty so I thought it was fun. Note: the size of your actual drink is small when you choose this option, so you got to decide if you want a large drink or do you want the plushie. Highly recommend if you're looking for something a bit different!

Brown Sugar Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with crystal boba in a bear brick bottle.

What a gem in Garden Grove. I love the great taste of their milk tea plus the crystal boba was delicious with perfect texture. The staff were friendly and worked hard to put my drink in the bear brick bottle. Ambiance is bright, open and airy. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back to try their mochi donuts next time.

We came for those little plushies they had going viral on tik tok but they weren't doing them anymore so that was a bummer. The girl that worked there said that they will do it again in a few months so I hope I get it next time! I got their green milk tea and it was delicious. I love that I was able to taste the tea in it and the boba were cooked perfectly. Staff was very friendly as well.

Such a cute place! Super girly and cozy! Great customer service. The girl who was working the day I went in was super friendly and helpful. There's so many mochi doughnuts flavors to choose from. It almost looks too pretty to eat, but I promise everything is delicious. Will definitely come again!

Too greasy, weird aftertastes, terrible terrible heartburn and upset stomach after... And with these, I didn't experience any of that(a little burpy after, but I mean, it's donuts... LOL) We only tried 3 different donuts, but they were all so bomb. The churro donut was my favorite. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside just like a real churro, but didn't get soggy. The Nutella Malasada was full of Nutella and it was actually my first time trying a malasada... bomb! The cookies and creme mochi was a nice surprise too. The cream was actually very flavorful and not just like a plain creme with Oreos thrown in like I've often seen. I'm sure all of the donuts would be really good here. None of the donuts tasted fresh, I am sure they were made hours before we bought them. Churro was super hard and stale, salted caramel literally tasted like nothing, blueberry tasted like sweet artificial fruit, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting was the best one. If I lived nearby, I might get that one again, but this is not a place to go out of the way and try.

I asked if she could add a little ice to my hot coffee because my hands were not clean. She pointed to the ice and told me to get it myself. When I explained that my hands were dirty, she started making faces and rudely said, "GET IT." After that, I wanted to order a donut but was deciding between a chocolate bar and a maple bar. She impatiently asked, "What do you want now?" in a raised voice. I ended up saying, "Just give me anything." She then threw the donut onto the counter. I told her that this was not a good way to treat customers, and she replied, "I DON'T CARE." When I said I would not be coming back because of the way she treated me, she responded, "I don't care. I don't want your business," and walked away to continue cleaning. Unfortunately, this is not the first time she has treated me this way. After reading the reviews for this donut shop, I noticed many other customers have had similar experiences and left reviews describing the same rude behavior. Customer service matters, and no customer should be treated with this level of disrespect.

The corn cream was perfect in the optimization of corn flavor(need to steal the recipe). The little corn is a white chocolate that was drowning by the time I took the picutre hehe oops. Their coffee has a little bit of an acidity to it, but once mixed the coffee will overpower the corn a bit. I also tried the jasmine yuzu which had a light yuzu kick to the tea. They were out of original plain salt bread by the afternoon, but did do a light restock of flavored ones. The good thing is, they don't fill the inside of the bread with stuff so its the same thing with a touch of topping. We got the bacon scallion salt bread. If you have seen salt bread recipe videos, it is exactly like that.
