A nice kickoff to summer. While I was in the area, I wanted to see if there was sugarcane juice nearby and this place came up my kids have never had sugarcane juice before so I wanted to take them for their first experience. This little café is in a strip mall with plenty of parking. It's a small café, but they do offer a few tables and chairs where you can sit. We ordered the refresher and the jackfruit. Need to come here more often! I originally came for the dragon fruit and pennywort but didn't know they serve durian w/ sugarcane!!! It isn't for everybody lol but I love durian so I had to make another purchase after my first order lol. I's usually the auntie at the front handling order and the uncle will be the one making the drinks. I normally interact with the auntie. In very few instances, the uncle will be at the front! They're both very welcoming but the uncle is extremely jovial. I'm an extremely shy and awkward person, but that's never stopped him from cracking a joke or smiling. Things like that make me want to support than more than I already do. Now onto the drinks! Yall already know I love their hangover and the og sugarcane with the kumquat. If it's your first time, I recommend ordering either of those. If you're looking for something on the sweeter side, definitely order the pineapple one! My homie likes to add coconut to it for an extra $1. If it is strawberry season, 10000% order the strawberry nuoc mia. I was hesitant because I had never seen it made with strawberry prior to coming to this store. But maan, they have the right idea! Super refreshing and the strawberry compliments the muoc mia soo soo well. Like go and try it for yourself. If you end up not liking it, check your tastebuds. (I'm kidding, I'm kidding!) It's almost nostalgic to me especially since I have grown up in the garden grove area. Drink Consensus: Where do I even start? I've tried the dragonfruit, pineapple, strawberry, matcha, durian, and the og "hangover" one. They're all so delicious, unique, and refreshing. Honestly, none of them are a miss. My usually go tos are the Hangover (coco + sugarcane), the Dragon (dragonfruit + sugarcane) or the Exotic (durian + sugarcane). The original hangover is always the classic. This would seriously be one of my death row drinks. The dragon is extremely tasty, I order this one the most. The dragonfruit is not too overpowering and it pairs nicely with the sugarcane juice. Ever since I found Young Juice, I never went back to any other places, including Cococane. The quality of this place is 10x times better than anywhere I've been to. It's a mom and pop shop and everyone is super nice and friendly, well priced too. I've been going almost once a week for the last few months because their sugarcane drink is so perfect to cool down for the summer. They are located in a strip mall pretty close to the 22 fwy so it's a nice easy stop after a long drive too. I've tried a good chunk of their menu now and I really enjoy them all! The "Original" w/ kumquat - normally this is my fav at other spots, but something about theirs taste a little different and not sure if I really enjoy it or not. Shoutout to Andrew K. for recommending and putting me on this place. It is no secret that I am a fan of pennywort drinks and Young Juice is living up to its 5 star hype. On my way home from lunch I decided to drop by and try some of their drinks. I got their Refresher and Greenie drink. I didn't say which size I wanted but the lady charged us for the large ($7 each for 16 oz). I was at first a little annoyed when I found out she just assumed I wanted a large but was instantly glad when I had my first sip. Each drink was absolutely perfect. The Refresher was a combination of pineapple, coconut and sugar cane. And they use all fresh fruit, including fresh squeezed pineapple. It was really good and I highly recommend The Refresher if you like pineapple. It also had chunks of pineapple in it. My Greenie was also really good and satisfying. It was a combination of pennywort, coconut and sugarcane. Both drinks were refreshing and came with some shaved yummy coconut to eat with a fork. I was really pleased with both drinks. Young Juice is probably my preferred juice place. And more preferred than Ma Juicy, Mia Juicery, and Cococane. The inside is very causal and is more of a grab and go type of spot. They have a variety of fresh juices and offer fruits for purchase as well. And they also take card. The only downside to this place for me is that it is a little far.
