The massages are still decent, but I've had enough of the sexism here. They favor and cater to male clients and always switch out female massage therapists as they are working on me to attend to the male client who walked in half an hour after my massage started. WTF. This has happened every single frickin time I am here. I don't mind a male therapist working on me, but it's so annoying how they don't care about continuity and providing a relaxing experience for the clients. I really have to give this place a hand - extremely hard working and super willing to accommodate on time. My friends and I were running a tight schedule on Sunday, but we really wanted a massage before we left for the road. The only time we could come in was AT closing time (10 PM). None the less, the people here said that as long as we came in by closing, they'll give us a massage (not an easy promise either, since we were a group of 6). Sure enough, we got in at 9:55 and they were waiting for us. Prices are cheap! At least cheaper than what I'm used to in San Francisco. $29 (with no oil) for an hour (or $39 for an hour WITH oil if you really can't do without it). They really worked out my knots, and they're really responsive to how you want your massage (hard, medium or soft) so don't be afraid to speak up if it's not to your liking! Just a side note, English isn't their best language here, so if you speak Mandarin, that'll be a definite plus for everyone. read more

My Girlfriend and I came here to try out their 30 mins massage and RED FLAG #1 was when they demanded to be paid upfront and they had a notice demanding tips posted in the front. I'm not against tipping as I work in the service industry and I earn my tips after I give my service. We got placed in the open floor basically out in plain view and I don't know if it's because we didn't tip upfront but the "massage" we received seemed to be made for tenderizing a tough piece of meat. Like goddam I know we didn't tip first but tips are usually given after you provide your service. 5 minutes into the massage and I was ready to talk! JESUS I don't know if just using your elbows and heels of your feet for 90% of the massage is normal but this is what they did and they targeted the most tender parts of our bodies with them without trying to be gentle. NEVER recommending this place that obviously has shady stuff going on in the back rooms. I still tipped at end because they still provided a service but never again coming here. read more

Wouldn't recommend this place if someone asked... it's cheap but felt like having an amateur person massaging me. I did the 1 hour foot massage which includes other body parts for $29. I had the much older lady who was giving me the massage but the entire time she was massaging me it felt like she was just rubbing/patting my foot/body like rubbing/patting a baby's back. Hardly any pressure was applied to my body..it was more like she was just pushing my skin around. I Came in feeling stressed and unrelieved to leaving with the same feeling. Usually after a good massage, your body feels loose and free...not this place... I left the place feeling exactly how I walked in... As for a friend who i went in with....she left with a really sore back due to the lady shoving her elbow into her back so hard she said she almost cried. but she just bared with it... My boyfriend and I went today for a combo massage, 30 mins full body massage with oil and 30 mins of foot reflexology. The ladies we had was just terrible. The lady that I had did not give me enough pressure. I asked her to give me more pressure, she said okay and proceeded with the same pressure. I had to stop her mid massage and asked for another lady. Then they proceeded to give the crappy masseuse to my boyfriend. I got here at 1pm. Said I wanted the 60 min massage for $20, which is their happy hour deal from 10-2 every day. The massager stayed that it's only for a foot massage. I'm confused because it says in parenthesis that it's for the "foot, head, neck, shoulder, back, arm and hand". Also, the last time my husband and I came for their happy hour, we got the happy hour deal, which included 60min entire body massage. So I am very upset with the service provided to me today. I would give this place 2.5 Pros: walk ins welcome. Happy hour is $20 everyday from 10am to 2pm for an hour foot massage. Decent price. Clean. Seems like a mom and pop shop. Some things to note: 1. They switch therapist during one of my friends foot massage. 2. The guy I had was on his phone four times while he was massaging me. If it was only one time, I would have let that go but four times.. Really? 3. They use their elbows on your shoulder blades! My friends and I were complaining about that and we got slightly bruised. Seems like a hit or miss. I didnt have a good experience, my friend enjoyed it, while the other felt average. I felt bad for not tipping but the pain on my back is a good reminder that I dont need to feel bad. read more

When first walking into this establishment you see a bunch of comfortable chairs and beds that are set up neatly and waiting to have clients on them! They have a menu at the front that tells you what you can get rub down and how many minutes and they also have combos which is super cool because I needed my dogs touched on too! The lady behind the desk had a really cool old Vietnamese smokers voice and love the fact that I paid with cash or credit card. They set me up in a really big room and the massage started I thought it was pretty cool that the lady jumped up on top of the bed and hung up the virus massage my back and my legs! The only problem that I had with the whole Massage was I did not feel like the massage therapist had the knowledge of a chew massage therapist! It's not that anything she did hurt, it was just not the same as a trained therapist! If you get my drift! The music in the background was super relaxing which was really nice I wish that there was a little bit more focus on my chest area due to me lifting weights but she didn't really seem to be knowledgeable in that part of my body I guess! I guess I was pretty surprised that there wasn't any kind of essential oils used having some probably would've helped with me and hang up with a stuffy nose because of the stuffiness in the establishment! Overall it was a pretty pleasant massage and I wouldn't mind going back and maybe trying with a different therapist! I did tip because she did work out quite a bit of kinks! My boyfriend and I decided to get a massage after a long week of work. This place did accept walk ins and when we walked in it seemed very clean and relaxing. We chose the 30 min foot & body massage combo and we got sat pretty quickly. They have you pay upfront which isn't an issue but they do have a sign right next to the cash register demanding a tip. During our massage I had to tell the guy to use less pressure multiple. It felt as if he was digging his elbows into my neck and shoulder which caused a lot of pain. I could hear my boyfriend next to me telling the lady she was hurting him multiple times as well and when he told her to stop they all started to laugh. Im not sure how this was supposed to be a relaxing massage when they're putting all their weight and pressure into the massage. After the massage we got a tiny cup of wafer and they seemed to be waiting for us at the door expecting a tip. We still tipped 10$ each but we walked out of that door in pain. I am giving 3 stars because there was nothing exceptional about the establishment. The masseuse deserves 4, and I tipped accordingly! The decision to visit Bobo was last minute. On arriving I was greeted by a friendly hostess who didn't speak English. She referred to a "menu" of service, so it was a point and nod transaction. This is always going to be a problem with inexpensive massage parlors,but I digress. I chose the 90 minute full body massage. She showed me to a curtained alcove which appeared clean and tidy. They could invest in coat hooks instead of a chair for your clothes, but again I digress. The masseuse (they should have name tags or tell us their names for future visits) was very thorough and strong. She paid attention to knots, but not to the point of bruising. I spent 90% of the time on my stomach, so my chest and abdomen were a little jealous. Overall, I was pleased with the massage. read more

I was a bit hesitant to come after reading some negative reviews, but I'm happy that I did. I came with my mother and we both did a hot oil massage for 30mins and a foot massage for 30 mins which was really amazing. I only had two issues, first is that they toss the hot towel on your back without giving you a warning or asking you if the temperature is fine. The second issue that I have is that they don't have enough staff or maybe we came in on a busy day and the girl that was working on me would leave to answer the phone or help out customers. It just doesn't make it as relaxing as it should be when your getting a massage and it abruptly stops. I went 20 mins before happy hour ended. They told me happy hour is for 60 min only not 30 min. you can tell the place was very slow cause there was only me and this lady. So I was like okay fine, I'll just get an hour massage. The lady I had was okay overall it was painful. The beginning of the massage feels nice and then she began putting hard pressure on me. I try to bare with it for as long as I could before I say something. So I finally told her, and she slow down the pressure. She put even more pressure on me again. I told her again. She says "okay". It was going okay and then I can feel her elbow going down on me very hard! It was painful, I wanted to tell her to stop but I bare with it. I was grunting and my eyes was tearing because it was that painful!!! I told her again, "Not too hard". She said something in her own language. Anyhow, she continue to massage with hard pressure the whole time. All I feel is pain the rest of my massage. Finally when it was over, I went to pay. I didn't leave a tip on my receipt. She asked me, "no tip?" I told her, "I'm sorry, maybe next time". She ask me the same question again. I told her sorry and left. Now, I'm just rethinking, you told me you only do 60 min massage for happy hour. I felt push to get an hour massage but I'm just like "okay fine". But now you're gonna ask me to tip you? When throughout my massage was painful the whole time and I only wish my massage lady would massage me gently but put even more harder pressure on me when she knows she is going too hard on me. Here's a note: When a client tell you that you are hurting them, slow down, massage us gently or at least warn us that if you might put too much pressure on us. I was not satisfied with my massage because I feel so much pain throughout the one hour session that's why I did not tip. I also feel like I was pushed to get an hour massage when I really wanted a 30 min only cause I only needed my back and neck massage. 60 mins is $29 and 30 min is $19. They basically pushed me to pay $10 more. Then my massage lady want me to tip her too? Love this place! The massage therapists here are so wonderful. My favorite is the one hour oil massage. I have so much chronic tension in my back and the therapists are so skilled at knowing how to relieve my muscles and help work out knots. They listen to my needs and I appreciate that. The place is always clean and it's very easy to give them a call for an appointment right away. The staff impresses me but sometimes there are middle aged white ladies who attend in pairs and think it's ok to have conversations loudly while getting massaged as if they are out to lunch (also witnessed this numerous times in Chinese massage places in NYC Chinatown). Please kindly shut the fuck up so everyone inside can relax in peace :) So glad this place is just a short drive from my house. Repeat customer for sure. read more
