Bobo's Dumplings & Noodles is a fantastic new addition to NoDo! I stopped in recently and was really impressed. The food was excellent across the board. The noodles were cooked perfectly with just the right texture, and the spring rolls tasted incredibly fresh--not mushy or greasy like you sometimes get elsewhere. I also tried the hot and sour soup with dumplings. Be warned: it's definitely more hot than sour, and it packs some serious spice, but the flavor is outstanding if you enjoy a little heat. Everything tasted fresh and well made, super nice staff and it's clear they put a lot of care into the food. The decor and space is casual, but nice. I'll definitely be coming back and look forward to trying more of the menu. read more

One of the newer restaurants in the downtown scene but packs a punch offering unique flavors and dishes you just can't find anywhere else! A casual-feel restaurant offering dumplings and soups done WELL (at incredibly fair prices I might add) along with a couple typical entrees! The chicken soup buns are something SO special and I love their fried rice! Everything always comes out correct, on time and our server has always been friendly! With so many options to choose from in Omaha this one might get glossed over but if you're reading this you should absolutely give it a try! read more

First of all, great service! I am from Las Vegas and I am very spoiled when it comes to Chinese dumplings. I go to Chinatown and they are amazing. I was craving them and saw this place right down the street from my Airbnb. I was pleased to see that they had soy sauce, chili oil and vinegar at the table to be able to make my own dipping sauce. Their house dumpling sauce was also very flavorful. I had their Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) they were pretty good. I would have liked to see more soup filling though. But, a grand effort for Omaha. Their pan-fried thumblings were quite surprisingly tasty. And I also tried the cucumber salad. This dish could have been outstanding. However, the freshness factor was depleted by what appeared to be 1-3 day old cucumbers that were more pickled and discolored than a fresh cucumber salad. I was so excited to finally try Bobos! The dumplings and crab Rangoon were all made in house and it showed in quality. They were such good bites. I had the udon shrimp noodles and wow, they were so good!! the noodles were perfect and the shrimp was so flavorful and all of the food came out so quick. The space is really big but I'm sure on weekends it gets pretty packed so if you wanna go here with a larger group, I would definitely call ahead to make sure that they have space to accommodate you. The waiters were very attentive and made sure that we got our food quickly and offered us more drinks and boxes to go as soon as we needed them! read more

This is definitely a wonderful and welcoming restaurant. One of the best in the Omaha area. Waiters are amazing! The milk bao is a dessert pictured in my 2nd and 3rd photos. It is fluffy on the outside and when you bite into it there's a delicious custard. The dumplings are handmade and they are absolutely scrumptious. You can get them pan fried or steamed. If I were discovering this gem of a restaurant I would stay away from the typical fried rice not because it's bad but because the plates here are unique. Try something new! Get the double cooked pork! The Smokey, savory flavor paired with the juicy and tender pork. Served with rice, it has immediately risen to the top of my Chinese rankings. Dumplings made fresh in house, right behind the bar top you can watch them being crafted by hand. The dumplings fall nothing from short of the double cooked pork. The pork and chive dumplings were our favorite, even behind the Xiao Long Bao, which don't get me wrong, were good, but didn't have much soup inside by the time they got to the table. The service was great, they had two people on staff for a fairly empty restaurant. They just opened and I think they deserve so much love! It's right in front of the Charles Schwab stadium and plenty of parking right in front and in the back. Ok folks, just open for a couple weeks, this is your place for Chinese style dumplings, soup dumplings, Shanghai style dumplings, Chinese noodles, Bao buns, boba and more! This is a great place to stop into on your way out from the downtown office and on your way home. I got some soup dumplings, shrimp dumplings, green beans, and broccoli with garlic. The soup dumplings are served in their own little dish, so you can slurp all the soup in the dumpling, and not worry about the soup going everywhere else but your mouth. I liked the flavor of the green beans a lot. The broccoli with garlic is exactly that - semi steamed broccoli with garlic. Warning. There is no parking associated with Bobo's, only street parking. The parking in the back is either for the apt bld or the hotel, and both May tow your car. Also, if you street park, download the Metro parking app and PAY for parking, or the parking cameras will catch you and send you a parking ticket in the mail with an added $20+ ticket fee on top of what you would owe to park there for an hour or 2. read more

Stopped by Bobo's today and tried the chicken fried rice as a starter, chicken was tender and rice and vegetables tasted good. For my main dish I had the pan fried pork buns which were also good, food came out exceptionally hot and fresh so give it some time to cool down. Soda had a good mix as well. As far as the restaurant goes it was new and clean. Lost a star for having no public restroom which is unfortunate if you're there at the bar or sitting for a meal just be prepared for that. I've been to Bobo's twice now and I honestly can't wait to go back and try the rest of their menu! The service is wonderful from the moment you walk in, until you leave. The ambience feels authentic. We drove all the way downtown last night to enjoy an amazing taste experience and we were not disappointed. One of the best egg drop soups I have ever had with large chunks of egg and fresh green onions that was piping hot. We then had the pan fried pork buns. Such a cool idea with the soup in them but the bottom is crispy and top is soft. WOW Then the dumpling roulette was a great way to try 6 different flavors in one serving. Highly recommend. Our chicken Lo mein had very large pieces of chicken and a delicious smoky flavor. Came out HOT as well. The sweet rice shu mai made a perfect "dessert" course. Unique flavor for sure. Let me say everything came out hot and delicious. Service was spot on and very friendly. They built out the space well based on what was there before, we sat at the bar and enjoyed the atmosphere. This is a newer restaurant that just had its soft opening a couple of weeks ago. There is no specific parking lot for the restaurant, you will need to park on the street and pay the meter or use the parking app- that's the only con. The food is amazing! We talked to the owner, and he is from China and was really nice. My family is Taiwanese, so we are pretty picky with Asian food and choosy with what we consider as "authentic". Bobo's is absolutely authentic. My dad got the fried noodles (Chinese style Zha jiang mian), my brother ordered the salt & pepper shrimp, my mom got the beef noodle soup (traditional Chinese beef noodle soup, which is a little spicy), and I got the braised beef noodle soup (traditional Chinese soup, not spicy). We also ordered the garlic broccoli. The favorite of our family's was the fried noodles, and we might come back again before we leave Omaha (we are here for a family trip) just for it. Everything was good, and came out fresh and quickly. They have K-pop and fun music, and it's very clean as well. I would highly recommend checking Bobo's! They also have dumplings, buns, soup dumplings, and rice dishes. Their noodles are hand pulled and freshly made, chewy and are delicious. We'll be back! 5/16/26- we came back the very next day lol. Ordered the fried noodles (zha jiang mian), chasiu pork noodle soup, hot & sour dumpling soup, and the pan fried pork buns. Everything was so good! I didn't get a picture of the chasiu pork noodle soup but it looks similar to the braised beef noodle soup but with chasiu pork and a lightly sweet broth. The pan fried pork buns were amazing, I'd highly recommend trying them. The owner is super nice and he actually gave my dad more dumplings for his hot & sour dumpling soup. Great service! read more

LEGIT.. We had a party of 10 and was looking for something delicious for our last night in Omaha. I found Bobo's but was a little skeptical of the high rating since there were only 2 reviews. Those 2 Yelpers didn't steer me wrong! Our family was visiting from LA and Honolulu, 2 cities with amazing bowls of noodles and Chinese food. Everyone agreed that Bobo's lived up to many of those places back home. Food: Since we had a bunch of people, we got a variety of dishes.. won ton noodles, beef noodle soup , braised beef noodles, broccoli with garlic, Sichuan twice cooked pork, dumplings, and a bunch of other apps. EVERYTHING we got was good! The food was flavored well, not oily, or drenched in sauce to cover the flavors. Sorry, I was too hungry to take food pics after spending all day at the zoo. Place: The place was clean, well lit, had lots of parking, and was easy to find. Service: Everyone that helped us was super friendly and helpful. We ended up finding out that the owner is from Honolulu and recently moved to Omaha. That explained the cans of Hawaiian Sun on the counter and the braddah braddah aloha handshake before we left (iykyk). Go check this place out. This place was really good. The service is great and flavors are authentic. They didn't have a liquor license yet when we went but the cocktail menu looked very interesting. This place was a nice change of pace after only eating stadium food for awhile. We were in town for the MCWS and it wasn't crowded. I'm sure as more people learn of this place it will be next year during the same time. read more

Bobo's dumplings and noodles was an absolute gem of a restaurant. The service was great, and the host helped seat us at the counter and let us order and watch the dumplings be made while we waited for a table to free up. We got the shrimp dumplings, and the shu mai, the braised beef noodle soup and the bok choi, all were fantastic. Coming from California, I've had a lot of dumplings in my life, and these rank as some of the best I've ever had. Handmade, fresh and flavorful. The ambiance was nice and clean, with a viewing area to watch the dumplings be made. The host was very friendly and we had some of the best service I've had in a long time. If I'm ever in the area again I will drive out of my way to visit this place. read more

The food is totally brilliantly amazingly delicious! They haven't gotten there liquor license as of two weeks ago when I was there. But I can't wait until they do so I can have some good sake! However, the food can I say Yum yummy even! It also travels well. When I arrived home 15 minutes after I left the restaurant the food was still steaming hot. Sidenote please bring a bag along with you. That may have a cardboard at the bottom or like one of those hot or cold bags that are pretty strong. They put the food in a paper bag, but no cardboard at the bottom of the bag and the bottom does get wet and your food will fall out from the bottom, just giving you a heads up. read more
