My husband had casually asked about the game before we headed out to the tulip fields, and sure enough, when we came back and took a seat at the bar, she remembered and got it on for us. MVP! Now, let's talk about the chaos. They were clearly way understaffed the day we visited. One bartender, one host, and a couple of servers seemed to be holding down the entire inside plus two patios. That looked stressful for them. A lot of folks looked frustrated waiting to be seated or served. Pro tip: in situations like this, just head straight for the bar if you can faster service, drinks in hand quicker, and front-row seats to the TVs. The food was honestly solid. I had a steak salad with a side of fries flavor was great, but the steak came out cold. It must've been sitting there for a while and just not delivered. I wasn't about to flag someone down to fix it (that alone looked like a heroic feat), so I just rolled with it. The wait time for food was about 40 minutes, so come here with some patience. That said, I totally get the staffing struggle especially in the hospitality world. With more hands on deck, this place would shine even brighter. The service is so slow at the Burlington location. They are extremely understaffed. There was a long wait to to be seated and the hostess seated guests out of order because she didn't know how to keep track. We didn't get any refills and the empty tables were covered with plates and didn't get bussed. Even to-go orders take an hour. Go to a different location. The manager would rather argue with people online than work to improve the restaurant. The food was good but too much of a wait. The floors are sticky, the windows are clouded with dirt, the door handles, chair backs, molding and lighting are all coated in greasy fingerprints, smudges of goodness-knows-what, and dust. The knives and forks had crusted food, fingerprints and thick spots of what I assume was detergent. The condiments were crusted with their dried contents and more than half empty. The food was salty, greasy, over-sauced to the point that the sandwich contents were basically trying to squirt out of the bread/bun with every drippy bite. The drinks were poorly balanced - don't get a mixed drink here. They appear to be uninterested in the customer experience. I'd avoid it. read more

Very disappointed in this location!! We have been to Bob's from Lynnwood to Burlington, and this by far is the worst!! We love bobs, just not Burlington!!! Bad experience at this location on Monday afternoon. Being preoccupied with important conversation, I failed to take care of the issue I had with my meal. My friend ordered a burger with fries. The fries were intolerably salty and were sent back and reordered without salt. Burger was good. I ordered a small Caesar salad with grilled chicken, toast extra. The lettuce had to be old. Not one bite of crisp Romaine, like it should have been. One piece was about 8" long, dark green and wimpy. Service was minimal, at best. Kind waitress but barely attentive. Was up in Washington visiting some family and saw Bob's across the parking lot from our hotel and decided to give it a try! I guess this is a small chain up in Washington...very nice inside with a fireplace in the main dining room and a well lit and cheerful bar area. We ended up coming in here a few times during our three day stay...both food and drinks were very good...and prices also quite reasonable! I've had the chance to eat at Bob's Burgers & Brews there in Burlington a few times now, and once a place proves itself to me, THAT'S when I will leave a review, good or bad. And this one is hands down GOOD. My favorites include their seafood platter which includes always good, two nice sized battered fish and three huge prawns (that I boost with their onion rings) and now my new favorite, their burger dip. It's like a french dip, but it's done with one of their burger patties, au jus to dunk it in, and it is fantastic. If you order either of those, I can guarantee that you'll be one happy camper when you leave. I've also had excellent customer service from their staff every time. So keep up the great work - whoever is running the show there. OH, and if you might be golfing at a course called Avalon, THIS is the place to either energize before hand, or afterwards to recharge as Bob's Burgers is just down the street. Even the liberal application of ketchup and salt could not save them and I gave up. Hot tea was made with tepid water which defeats the purpose and the coffee was watery. We stopped by on our way to Canada as it's a convenient location right off a exit and next to a charging station. We ordered two sets of sliders while we charged our car for 20 minutes. We were told our order would be ready in 15-20 minutes. After 25 minutes, we asked for an update on the order and they came back 10 minutes later and informed us that they were out of sliders. Cocktails are awful. Tap Beers taste "OFF". I think lines are filthy! The burgers are decent. The only thing I will ever order there again. Order clam chowder and it was like clam gravy. It's been at least 12 years since I have dined at Bob's Burgers & Brew, and my previous experience wasn't good. We had a gift card so we tried Bob's again, and things have changed for the better. Our server was at our table shortly after we were seated. She took our order and in less than ten minutes we were served our lunches, three hot burgers just off the grill, and I mean just off the grill, the food was so hot that we actually had to let it cool off for a minute, now that is how to serve a gourmet burger. I ordered the Grilled Sourdough Burger with JoJo's, and both were excellent. The cook gave me enough JoJo's for plenty of leftovers. The Mushroom Burger was also delicious, however, for an $18 burger, the fries should be higher quality and unique, rather than the same boring fries served at the local drive-in with a $6 burger. The prices at Bob's are pretty high for burgers, so I hope the cooks are getting paid what they are worth, because whoever cooked our food deserves a raise and a bonus. We came in on a Friday afternoon at 4pm before the dinner rush, the dining area was quiet and relaxed. I will return to try the Bacon Burger soon. read more

After watching a complete inning of baseball on the tv, we decided that our business was not important to them and left without even being acknowledged as being there - 15 minutes. Yes, i made eye contact with both the waitresses and bartender. Not even a nod. I'm a regular in this establishment, but this is not the normal staff.
