Long story short: absolute waste of time. I had a window off balance and called to make an appointment. Appointment was confirmed on the phone, and the day of, nobody showed up. I called, they had no record of my appointment and rescheduled me. Day of the new appointment, nobody showed up. I called, they said someone would be there in a few hours. They checked out the window, didn't say anything, and left. Got a call over a week later saying the window needs to be replaced, but the original person didn't get all of the information they needed, so someone needed to come back. Appointment made, AGAIN they did not show up. After another rescheduling, someone came back to get the information they needed, and then Raymond Glass ghosted me. I reached out asking if we're waiting for the parts to arrive, etc., and no response. At this point, I had been kept waiting for months, so I went with another company. read more

We used Raymond Glass to install a new balcony screen two years ago. They had to come back twice to fix it because it doesn't work at all, it doesn't slide, it doesn't stay on the track and now it even has holes. It is completely unusable we can no longer slide it at all. We have to pay someone else now to come and replace it all. Biggest waste of money. Extremely disappointed. read more

Raymond Class custom cut a piece of glass to protect my marble island counter top. I provided them the dimensions and they wrote them down correctly on my receipt, but when I got home to lay the glass on the island top, I realized it was cut an inch too wide. When I spoke with the owner of Raymond Glass, she offered to trim the glass to the correct dimensions free of charge if I took it back. However, when I explained that the glass was bending in my trunk on my way home from picking it up and that I wanted her delivery service (which comes to my area often) to pick it up and redeliver it, she essentially told me that wasn't her problem. Additionally, given the company's 7:30 AM - 4 PM hours of operation, there is no possible time for a working professional like myself to take the big/heavy glass back. In today's time when customer service is of the utmost importance, especially in a service commodity business where there's no product differentiation, I cannot recommend a company like Raymond Glass that is unreliable in its performance and makes no effort to take care of its customers despite its own faults. They have one of the best auto glass prices in the Jersey City area. Raymond Glass are not limited to just auto glass repair. They do anything related to glass works. Conveniently located near the light rail station - you can drop off your car and take a light rail back home. The service is fast and quality is good. Client service and attention to detail is where they didn't score points. Dirt from the windshield replacement was left everywhere in my car. When you walk in to the office, a huge dog barks which made me uncomfortable. The way they took the order and explained the service made me feel that at Raymond's customers are a bit of liability. On the other hand, over the phone, it felt very different. And they promptly gave me a call when the job was finished. Will I come back to Raymond Glass? The answer is probably - yes. I used Raymond Glass to install the window glass located in Jersey City and the work was bad. The quality of work and staff services were poor and not professional as their staff left the place without cleaning the mess for causing some damages on my window frame. I would not recommend to hire this company. Also, the manager Joe likes to use excuses to deny all of the damages they caused. They seems to be not reliable and not punctual for scheduling and arrival. They always used the excuse as "very busy" for lateness or rescheduling. Be careful if hiring them. This company gave me headaches and I need to spend more time to deal with their problems. So sad.... read more

What horrible customer service! I called for them to check my windows since my top windows were sliding down and one was cracked. They told me nothing was wrong with my windows even though they slide down well that doesn't sound right! I say I just want the cracked window replaced and they say ok- we will send a quote- I follow up after the quote and NOTHING! I wait a month and call back bc they never even bothered to call me back and they say to me that they can fit me in a month from now. What a joke! read more

DO NOT GO HERE. This place is a complete rip off. Not only did they cut the glass wrong for me, but they would not even admit to their mistake. They made us bring back the glass and instead of rectifying their mistake and trying to keep a customer, they basically told us to leave. horrendous incredibly rude service, NEVER use this service provider, I have a shattered window pane in a condo building, I called on a Wed telling them its urgent because the glass might shatter onto busy street below, the said they were busy promised to send someone over on Friday 10a.m because the schedule was clear. No one showed up on Friday, I had already cancelled 2 other serivce providers relying on these guys, I called they told me someone would arrive in 10mins, I called back in 30 mins told again someone would arrive in 10mins, this happened 4 more times and then when I called back angry, they asked me why I was upset and to stop being upset and to use another service provider, INCREDIBLY RUDE, UNRELIABLE SERVICE. Don't come here to get your windshield replaced. I came here and they did a terrible job. The rubber part was not glued on properly, you can see the glue and it does not look even at all. I don't understand how a place that calls themselves an auto glass repair shop can do such a poor job. Also, their waiting room is the dirtiest place I have EVER seen. There is trash and huge dust bunnies all over the place, bugs crawling around. Really unsanitary. I cannot believe the employees sit in here all day long. I guess most people probably get dropped off but we only have one car so I had to sit there and wait. My advice: if you have a waiting area to offer to clients, make it somewhat presentable or at the very least sanitary. read more

I ordered a custom size and shape glass for my dining room table. They came to my home to take the measurements when no other company would. They delivered pretty fast although the cut was off by very little. They disclosed this themselves before leaving and took the glass back to reshape it and redelivered that same day.
