Suddenly they stopped accepting car wash coupons. The coupons are still given out at restaurants?

I had an awesome experience at Bob's Mobile today. I had a flat tire when I went out to my car this morning. I called Bob's spoke to Russ who is a very personable guy. He sent Vinnie out to my house & he put air in my tire so I could drive it back to the Bob's service station (didn't charge me for that service). They looked at the tire & said it couldn't be plugged & that I'd needed a new tire. It was ordered & delivered within an hour. In the meantime Vinnie drove me back home. I received a call within an hour in a half that my car was done! Vinnie picked me up drove me back & I paid the bill. Now this is what I call EXCELLENT service. They couldn't have been any nicer. My third time going and i was so turned off this time. I appreciated the first two times I went, Maybe it was just the guy i interacted with or the day but it was obvious i didnt know a lot about cars. I wasn't trying to ask for it to get repaired immediately but he assumed i did. Also, he was upset that i was last minute and did Not call for an appt first but the car was dangerous to drive (to me) and the shop was not open to call at 6 or 640 am according to an old Website with outdated info. Then i told him i couldnt move the car and saw two more hazard red lights and he only was concerned about the tire and not if the other repairs could be done. Finally we went to check The lights out and they were no longer there. Apparently i didnt turn the key enough or it got stuck earlier. The agent was just trying to sell me services but he was so mean i felt like a nuisance and a burden. I was willing to pay but since he was more concerned about his 6 cars to repair and only having one mechanic when i was very Open to leaving the car stored there until i could pick it up in a week or less, i had the car towed again but to the dealership this time. Their website needs to be updated to say they are Only open 7 am till 5 pm and tow truck personnel is available 5-8 pm most of The time read more

I've been driving for decades, have lived in five states and Bob's is hands down the best service ever. Russ is professional, honest, prompt, reliable, the work is superior, and they never push me to get work done that I don't really need or don't need yet. Bob's Mobil station staff, Russ and Jim, did a wonderful job attending to our car with a nail in the tire. They attended to us even with a busy schedule of repairs ongoing. I LOVE THIS Shop! I have been coming to Bob's Mobile for 25 years and my family has been coming here longer. I know the manager and mechanics by name, I am like family there. Russ and Chris I have known the longest. I have opted to have all my work done at this station and have not step foot into a dealership for work but for a recall. Its the home town feel and personable knowledgeable service I get that I love. What really sold me was when I had asked for a service and they told me I did not need it. Its the little things they do. Drive me home while my car is being serviced so I am not waiting at the station. Or when some screws came loose under my bumper they fixed it with no charge. Gas station is ok, car wash is good, haven't had any repair done here. However, car washes used to be free with a fill up and I used to go out of my way just to fill up there. Well, they're no longer free. Most you'll get is maybe $2 off. It's also a bit hard to get into, especially during rush hour. read more

The shop went from friendly and helpful to an absolute screw job. They've tried to squeeze every penny out of my family and I multiple times. The staff in the gas station are friendly enough, but the gas is usually pretty high for the area. read more

Don't usually buy gas here (expensive) for Blue Route passers-through and it's inconvenient for repairs. Stopped in for a car wash. $5 for the basics. Be prepared to wait on line about 3 to 4 minutes per car. read more

Here on business in Philly and had to fill up the rental car. Quick stop but seemed like a decent gas station. Not far from the airport and right on the corner not far off the freeway. It was easy to fill up and go. read more

Please is a joke a bad joke. Changed a tire got home and didn't put the plastic cover protector on my alloys. Had to go back and get it corrected. Was a good thing I checked because it was on the passenger side of my vehicle. Toyota charge ya 80 bucks for a new one. Had I waited a day Id be bucking up for it. The plastic covers and protects your lug nuts bearings and front axle spindle. If you didn't have the 80 bucks to replace the cover. Moisture could ruin your bearings and weld itself to your spindle. CAUSING A $500 repair bill or more. read more

do not use their mechanics! theyve robbed me of thousands of dollars. my car is brand new and every time i go there they tell me i need $400-$1000 of work, and then 6 months later when stuff goes wrong again they tell me i need more work. do not go here!!! read more

I purchased an expensive set of ceramic brake pads and paid Bob' Mobile to install them. When the rear brakes soon failed another garage discovered that the rear brakes were not ceramic pads and that the original set was still on the car. Bob's Mobile manager told me "you can't prove it." read more

I've used Bob's for more than 10 years and have never had a problem with any work they have done. In addition, they are courteous and helpful. They have always called to ask for authorization before doing any work they didn't foresee. I highly recommend them. read more

The mechanic named Chris is completely fine in fact i found him friendly which is nice being I'm spending over $500. Russ, however has the biggest attitude problem. He has interrupted me while telling him what was wrong with the car and he has also talked down to me on a few occasions. I will never take my car back, even for a basic oil change. read more

Avoid this business. Boorish, impudent, arrogant, contemptible mechanic staff. Dropped car off for some work. Wanted to give the person behind the counter some backstory on the car. He told me to "make it quick." Taken aback, I hesitated, but, now feeling rushed and unheard, I proceeded to tell him the problems with the car anyway. Rather pointless since he couldn't be bothered to listen. I also wanted them to do some other things to the car. He rolled his eyes and reluctantly wrote down the extra things I wanted done, arguing with me that it wasn't necessary and that it was time-consuming and expensive. I knew exactly what was involved and was perfectly willing to pay whatever extra was necessary. I didn't need his patronizing attempt to avoid doing work. He was incredibly dismissive and wouldn't even look me in the eye. I walked out, thought a minute, then walked back in and demanded my car key back. I told him I didn't want him working on my car. You do not tell customers to "make it quick" if they're trying to explain what's wrong with their car. I told him so and he said "I've got three other cars to work on." I said "I don't give a shit. That's not how you talk to customers." read more

Never ever again will I go to Bob's. The mechanics dishonesty to me was all it took. Bring my vehicle which was already scheduled to replace both front drive axles. I understand the labor charge and I was willing to pay. But if I was scheduled to be there, and only one mechanic works on the weekend, another customer of the mechanic's comes in and a favor is done for his friend. So that being said, my vehicle was behind on schedule, so another employee who works the front desk helped him. That made me have to pay an additional labor charge for the helper, which I should not had to pay the cost. It was mentioned to me by the Manager when I scheduled this visit that my brake pads were bad. I drive away, still hear that the breaks were not done. Oh, it was not on the computer. That's what I was told. Because I am a woman I should not be treated any different from a man. It was interesting how the conversation with two male customers, explaining the labor charge/hour, but not saying your vehicle will take that long??? I was charged double labor!!!
