I'd been wondering about it for a while, and I needed a quick lunch today, so I finally got around to checking it out. Overall, it's not bad grub at all for a gas station. The chicken legs that I got were pretty small but they were juicy and had a nice crust on them. The sides were okay - the red beans and rice had a nice enough flavor to them but I liked the mac and cheese better - the pasta was cooked well and the cheese sauce was pretty good. Like the gas though, my meal (which also came with a fountain soda) was on the expensive side - a little over 11 bucks. Royal Farms is on the expensive side too, but at least you get more food for the money. That said, I'll probably stop in again sometime if I need a quick lunch.

New drink machines, an improved sandwich counter and lots of snacks. My usual concern with this place is their parking. It is an utter disaster. Not enough spots. Plenty of angry drivers. Wawa's delivery trucks take up numerous spots when they park here, too. Other than that it is great. They have the usual lineup of Wawa hoagies and drinks. However, this location has custom milkshakes and "flurries" available, that other Wawas don't have. They also have a larger variety of grab-and-go items compared to other Wawas. The condiments table is often dirty, however. Even though it was just renovated it does not have any more items than a smaller Wawa. My biggest concern was when I ordered a hit chocolate. First, they left it behind the counter and did not bring it out. Also, a lady was working behind the counter eating a chicken finger while making food. Disgusting. They also forgot whipped cream.

I stopped in today and paid $3.55. A quick check down the street and Hess was at $3.55. I'm impressed. I'll be even more impressed if they stay competitive after their grand opening is over. The repair shop portion of this location is going to be owned by different folks. The highly regarded Havertown Gulf folks are slated to move in after Labor Day. The combo of location, gas prices, and excellent future repair shop could make this a great addition to Havertown.

A lot of people at work were telling me that we can get a decent breakfast sandwich there. I went in, ordered a custom sandwich and then was told the biscuits were frozen, can I get another bread? I chose a bagel and got my sandwich. The egg and cheddar were the best part. Tasted pretty good and the sausage was above average, but among the best for breakfast sandwiches I've had. For some reason, a lot of places have sausage patties I don't like. I'm sure their all organic, healthier (if possible), and some unique brand, but I probably like my breakfast sandwich sausage to have a different taste. This place was pretty good and might steal me away from other places. The bagel was decent for a sandwich, but was the weakest element. If the biscuit is good next time, I'll be hooked. Around me, it's hard to find a place that does a breakfast sandwich perfect. I'd love to get one food item from each place and make my own, but that's not possible. However, I have heard that the staff can be difficult to deal with. The shop currently is selling cheesesteaks and subs for $5. They sounded good, though I doubt it tasted good. I find Gas Station TV, which I find pretty annoying, but they did have some pretty cool programs on. They were playing some clips from CNN and ESPN, which is better than TMZ or QVC, which they tend to show. I prefer Sunoco over most gas stations as they carries all 4 grades of gas! They have that here! Altogether, this gas station is nice and if I need gas and in the area I will return!
