I searched for a photo shop after a disappointing first attempt at a passport photo at CVS. Bob's was the kind of photo shop I have had passport Photos taken at since the 1970's....great lighting, professional camera and just great, efficient service. I requested a digital copy of the photos and uploaded the 1/2 body shot for passport renewal. It was accepted without delay. My family and I entered this store to get new passport photos. What we got was pricey, at 15 dollars per person. When we entered we had to wait before ANYONE(Spanish people ran the store)came to help us even though the store was empty. After they took our photos a Spanish family entered. As they entered they were catered to immediately. When the Spanish family was done, they got their photos first and we were still waiting. We got the feeling that we were being discriminated against because we were Asian not Spanish. I don't recommend this place. We will not be coming back. read more

The owner of this business has a loyal customer for life!! I had taken a picture of my children and puppy in a last minute effort to get a Christmas card in the mail. The owner brought be behind the counter and showed me how he enhanced the photo to make it clear, sharp and bright. He mounted it on a template and voila I had a holiday card to out in the mail that day. Feedback has been they it looked like a professionally done card. I used Minted for years but never knew how it would turn out. Bob's can put the photo on card stock with pictures on the front, back, add a message, and it's all done SO fast with envelopes and you are out the door in 14 min for 25 cards. I will never use Minted again knowing what an amazing job Bob's did. read more

I love this photo shop in Manhasset. Its so close by and convenient. I'm not a professional photographer however taking pictures and framing them is a hobby of mine. Going here for the first time, i didnt know what to expect. I was impressed. Its a smaller shop selling nicer frames. In the center of the floor are high tech screens you can use to print your pictures on your own. The program was simple and easy to understand. The photos only took a couple of minutes to print. I was able to blow up some photos for a decent price as well :) The guy there was super nice and SO helpful. He answered every question i had and was super patient. Clearly knowledgable and amiable. This shop has so much to offer too. Personalized ornaments, canvas prints, editing and christmas cards in the future. I love this shop and am coming back soon :) read more
