For the love of money, my advice is to NEVER even think of going to Bob's Tire Center of Red Bluff, Ca!!!! I have put my trust and thousands of $$$ into Bob's pockets,with no knowledge on my own in regards to anything automotive. He knew my Dad, so I counted on him to do the honest thing. I had to learn the hard and expensive way neither he nor his family nor his employee's are the honest gentlemen they portend to be. Bob and his son Lance, in my opinion, lied directly to my face about my oil leak, both tripping over their own lies. For instance: 1) It's against the law to test run after rotating the tires, "we can't do that". 2) No indication in writing on initial visit, there was a "MAJOR LEAK" 3) If it were a perfect world we would be able to see all leaks. Why wasn't I informed of this in the beginning. They "guess" where the leaks come from, by starting at the top and working their way down. So, I paid close to $400 initially for a guess!! Today, I'm told they will fix the entire problem of which they knew about in the beginning for over $800, oh, but they would deduct a few hundred off the labor, because as Lance said over the phone "we made the mistake". So what should have cost, according to Bob and his employees, $800 plus, would now, if I so choose to pay, a total of over $1100. On a final note, not getting our parts or tires back and being subjected to a lewd dialogue by a mechanic in front of the parts person, Dennis. read more

I have been coming to Bob's Tires for over 10 years. From day one, they have always been exceptional. Bob himself is always there if you want to talk to him. The level of service that he and his guys offer is top notch. They will repair or replace anything you have from a tractor tire, quad tire, car tire, big offroad tire and motorcycle tire. They dont only do tires, they also do general auto repairs. The prices have been more than fair and the turn around time has always been extremely quick. They have gone above and beyond more times than I can count. I tell everyone I know to go Bob's Tire for any auto problem they might have. Keep up the great work Bob and Company! If i could give this place negative stars I would. A lady named Christine was one of the rudest people I have ever met. I called in about a special they had posted on their website and she put me on hold for 10 minutes. I called back and she did the same thing AGAIN! I called back one more time just so I could tell her how unprofessional that was and she answered telling me that they do not want "bargain hunters" coming to their store. I may not be the richest person in the world but I think you should treat all the customers the same regardless of if they are on a budget or not. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY!! read more

My daughter and I were on a road trip from Los Angeles to OR, when we noticed a message on our display panel stating our tire pressure was low. We pulled off the I5, and found our way to Bob's Tire Center. Of course we were concerned that they would try to pull a fast one and sell us more than necessary, but they didn't. These guys were very honest! They found a nail stuck in one of the tires within a minute or so, showed it to us, patched it up, and had it back on the car in less than 10 minutes. It was late on a very cold afternoon under dark skies and I had parked across from Elmore Drug and picked up a prescription; when I got back in my truck it wouldn't start, and so returned to the store to ask who in town was still open that could help me, as I know little about Ford Trucks; an employee of the store phoned Bob's (up the street a few blocks) and within minutes, a cheerful Raul arrives, jump starts the truck, and we drive to the facility. After the battery is tested and found dead, an efficient and friendly Cody puts in a new one; Raul has discovered that my old one was under warrantee, an observation that saves me about forty bucks! (He could have not told me; at that point after a long day and a dead truck, I would not have noticed). I was in and out of Bob's Tire Center in about half an hour, an extremely happy and satisfied customer, barely having enough time to check out the mini-zoo in the office! Thanks Bob's Tires! Got AT tires on Saturday 1/2/16. After hours of looking for snow tires in Redding and feeling like everywhere we looked was ripping us off and just over priced...we made our way to Bob's Tires in Red Bluff. Excellent price and had a selection of new and USED tires in great condition. The guy at the counter was so friendly and helpful. We will take our truck back to Bob's for them to do the oil change etc. And a few years ago they aired up my nephew's wheel chair tires free of charge. Thanks to everyone at Bobs Tires! I was on the road to Ruth Lake for a family reunion when my car had some issues and I was stuck in Red Bluff. A man at a gas station told me about Bobs Tire center so I headed down there. I'm so happy I found them, they were so nice! Greg the mechanic was on his way to lunch when I got there, but skipped eating to help me. He had my car fixed and ready to go in less then an hour. We took our 2013 Camaro in for brakes the parts needed to be ordered so we went back in the afternoon to pick up our car. The car was not their , we found the owner and asked him where it was he spent a couple of minutes looking for the car and it wasn't there!!! We looked down the street and here it comes the employee pulls into one of the stalls my husband goes over to him and asks him what th hell are you doing driving my car around the guy gives us the excuse that he's checking the bearings. I tell him the problem had been diagnosed and that was earlier in the day no one should be driving the car. Then to make matters worse when we were driving to get the car there was a chair laying in the road, that chair was now in the front seat of our car!!! Earlier in the afternoon one of my husbands friends had text him telling him that he had seen someone driving the car on the south end of Jackson Street there were a total of 18 miles put on the car while it was suppose to be having a simple diagnosis of the brakes to see if the brake pads needed to be replaced. And the car smelt of cigarette smoke . We are not smokers and now our car smells horrible!! read more
