After spending many weekends searching for that perfect trailer with my wife and two year old we…read morefinally arrived here. It was so refreshing! We were tired of the Wal-Mart style RV lots with thousands of trailers. The big lots may have a ton of inventory but they don't care about their product. It's off the truck, on the lot, dirty, beat up and out the door. Larger facilities prioritize numbers rather than service. Downtown RV definitely care about their customers. Alicia was attentive and made sure our two year old was safe in and around the trailers. They carried two of our top contenders (Keystone and Forest River). We ended up with the Forest River 248BHLE which was extremely hard to find in NorCal over the two months we were looking. The unit was clean when we saw it and clean for our final walk through. They were accommodating with payment and paperwork as we live 1.5 hours away. They even let me take my time installing my own weight distribution hitch in their lot on a Saturday because the mechanic works M-F. They offered power cords, any tools I was missing, plenty of water and lots of patience! Alicia and Laura are awesome. We loved the whole experience. They weren't pushy, answered questions and text messages (I had quite a few of them too). I've yet to use the service department since it's a new trailer but I will not be worried as they only service trailers they sell. I always have the option to take it somewhere else but won't. This tells me they won't be swamped with service requests which puts pressure on mechanics to crank units out. Hidden bonus. I highly recommend visiting this family owned business. Top notch!!!

What an asshat. Called to ask about rv/camper parts since its an RV sales place with no website so…read moredoesnt say what they sale entirely. Guy cut me off mid sentence to say "i dont sell them" before i said what I was looking for then hung up. Skip this place and check Santa Rosa RV or Campway where if they don't have what you're looking for they're at the very least helpful.

We just bought our first RV from Mike L. with Santa Rosa RV and we could not be happier! Searching…read morefor your first RV can be daunting, so we went to every RV dealership from Vacaville to Gilroy in a quest to learn about the models and pricing. Most of the RV dealerships that we visited had untrained employees pushing the hard sell. Horrible!! We visited Santa Rosa RV in the beginning of our search and had a pleasant conversation with a salesman and learned a bit. After we decided on what make and model we wanted, we headed back to Santa Rosa RV and had the pleasure of working with Mike L. Mike made the experience fun, educational and streamlined! The pricing was great and the no pressure sales was noteworthy. Jordan, the gentleman who showed us how to use our new RV, was very thorough and patient. All around great experience, we highly recommend Santa Rosa RV!

We had received quotes of over $10,000 for a roof replacement from a couple other repair shops. We took it to Santa Rosa RV. It did take several months, but Sergio dealt directly with Forest River and the Roof Material company and showed that the roof material was prematurely disintegrating. The entire roof, including wood needed to be replaced. We received our trailer back with a new roof. They even detailed the outside. Forest River stood by their product and so did the roof material company. Thank you to Sergio and his crew for their attention to detail and their perseverance.

My partner and I had been in the Market for a trailer . After going to a nearby RV sales location (…read morecan't even say they are their competition) and being treated so poorly we decided to go to Reeds. From the moment we step foot we were greeted by the most welcoming gentleman aka Guy Fairon . When we told him what we were looking for he guided us to several potential RV trailers and he let us compare each one with out any pressure or stress that you normally get from sales people. The connection we made with guy was on a professional level and a friendship was built. We knew that we were going to come back and buy from him! And so I went back and sat with Mary Liz at the finance department, she made the entire transaction so smooth and easy! With no hassle and everything that was promised was fulfilled ! We will definitely come back and buy again from Reeds because of these amazing people ! Best experience ever ! Lucy and Steve

We bought a fifth wheel from Reed's Trailer Sales and we had a very mixed experience…read more My husband and I were in the market for a trailer to live in with our little one as the California housing market isn't allowing us to purchase a traditional home. We found a fifth wheel that we were interested in and talked to a sales associate about checking it out. After putting down a $1,000 deposit, they held the trailer for us until the weekend when we could drive the 2 hours to the dealership to inspect it. They didn't have it hooked up to power or water, so we couldn't test anything to make sure it worked, and it was clear that the trailer hadn't been very thoroughly cleaned after the prior owner sold it. The employees didn't have a lot of details or knowledge about the trailer, but being naive about the whole process and in a hurry to purchase as our apartment lease was ending, my husband and I purchased the trailer. A week and half later, at our walkthrough, we noticed how dirty the trailer still was, including the FULL black and gray water tanks! Ew! How long had it been sitting with someone else's waste in it?! We also noticed new stains on the floor from when we initially viewed it. We took the trailer home despite the issues in hopes that we could clean it up and resolve some of our concerns. Unfortunately, the stains are permanent AND the trailer is too long for most parks to accommodate it. :( A few days after picking it up, and before we even stayed a single night in it, we inquired about exchanging the trailer for a smaller model on the lot that cost $100 more than the one we purchased. We offered to drive the trailer back (in better condition than we bought it as it was now noticeably cleaner) and still unused, and pay the difference as well as any applicable taxes and fees. However, we were told by Mr. Dan Reed, himself, that it would cost us an additional $11,000 because of registration fees AND depreciation on the trailer...what?! How could a used trailer depreciate after it was driven from the dealership to our driveway and after it was in MUCH cleaner condition than when it was sold to us?! He also claimed that the hefty price to exchange trailers was because the salesmen were already paid...which is anyone's guess as to how that applies? We feel like we were misled and a bit taken advantage of. As a young family trying to manage living in these difficult times and in this expensive state, we were hoping that Reed's Trailer Sales would have been a bit more understanding and accommodating. Since then, we've had to very thoroughly clean the mildew-filled washing machine, scrub the stainless steel oven handles which are somehow stained, and flush the black water tank 3 times during the single weekend that we've been able to use it. We've been able to make a couple improvements and overall, we feel this trailer is good value and a good investment, but we wish things could have turned out a bit differently.
