Words cant describe how great my experience was here. I did everything online a state away. They got me exactly what I wanted at the price I wanted and felt was worthy. The staff here was above and beyond! Happy, knowledgeable, friendly and appreciative more like I was doing them a favor vs them doing me one. From the first email request for info, they made sure to contact me under my terms (email for now as I was at work) we did everything over email. Eventually I was able to work a bit through Text. I really appreciated the no calls, and no harrassment! RJ set me up with a day and time that worked for us to pickup, again coming from out of state. Everything was ready to go. They even put the hitch components on the truck and trailor for us when we arrived. When mine didnt work, they worked with us to get it done! I have had Rv's before and this time they took the time to show me how to properly use my brake controller and what to expect pulling something so much smaller than I am used to. We took it out for the first time 3 weeks after purchasing, and found an issue under my sink. Now this not being my first trailor, I expected something to need fixing. Bouncing and driving it happens. I emailed RJ at 730pm on a Friday night.. He responded (I couldnt believe it, I didnt expect to hear until Monday) He had the service person included into the email. Update- had to have the work that happy daze did on our RV redone. Per the body shop that did the recent work, they found Happy daze used duck tape and other inappropriate materials to fix our trailer. STAY away for your own good. Nothing but bad body work bad customer service. Oh and the work happy daze did cost almost $12,000. The work the body shop did $1700. Smh read more

Do not do business with them. They do not honor their quotes and they say they price match but they don't. And if they do price match they try to take your money and penalize you for it. I was quoted one payment based on their 15000$ price but when I found the trailer cheaper at another place Bob said they would price match but the down payment would be more. And they proceeded to bad mouth the other dealerships ! Which doesn't math right. Bob assumed we couldn't get a trailer unless we financed but he completely missed when I said we could pay cash but wanted to build my husband's credit so we WANTED to finance. Bob assumed and treated us bad when we didn't want so sign immediately. Terrible place. Their trailers are dirty and over priced. Go to Camping World. We ended up getting a 2024 Coleman. They have a credit specialist who will work with you and sales people who listen. read more

I am surprised to see so many negative reviews. I had a great experience getting repairs done under warranty and I did not even buy my trailer from them. I called several other places and they all refused to help me because I did not buy my trailer from them. Happy daze, however, immediately scheduled me and worked with Forest River to get the warranty work approved. The whole process took about three months because appointment was 2 months out and another month to perform the repairs. I am very satisfied with the quality of work and I am usually hard to please. For some minor issues warranty denied, they tried to mend and make it better which was icing on the cake. Thanks to service advisor Steven who managed the whole process very well. read more

well I don't know where to start. I purchase my 2670 imagine in 2022 and have terrible results with their service department and their contact person. I have that so called forever warranty that you have to have the trailer serviced every year which they charge $700 a rip off. I picked the trailer up and when I got ready to go on a trip my lippert slide out wouldn't open and had to take it back to be fixed grand design covered the cost after calling Grand Design. the next time after the service I picked up the trailer we drove home and heard a large bang when I stopped . I went into the trailer and found that they didn't attach the steps and it had fallen back into the bedroom causing minor damage. in Nov 2024 while camping getting ready to leave I noticed a leak under and middle of trailer. got an appointment with Happy daze for December 8th drooped it off on that date. Well around Dec 20 called Happy Daze to find out the status of my trailer had to leave a message . Dec 23 called back and and told me there was valve leak at the black tank and will have to check with forever warranty. After the Holidays I called Happy Daze to check the status and left a message never received a call. This went on for several weeks no one would return my call. Finally I got to talk to someone who identified himself as a manager. He called back and stated the trailer black tank was cracked and they would have to order the tank. Few days went by I called again they told me the tank they ordered had a crack so had to order another tank. On April 3rd 2025 I finally picked up my trailer got it home and noticed on driver side of the wheels both dust caps were gone and the from wheel the grease ring was floating in the wheel cap. I put the grease ring back on and contacted Happy Daze told them the problem made an appt for April 30th . We went camping when I arrived and started setting the 2 jacks in back at first I thought the rods were broken so I couldn't put the jacks down. later after investigation it was noticed the 2 jacks were on backward. Remember the black tank leak ruined the pad under the trailer. They told me the warranty didn't cover the pad. So for 4 months they kept my trailer and charged me almost $1200. No PR and service is terrible. Never go back to Happy Daze. read more

We should have trusted the reviews before buying. After they sell to you, they ghost hard. Especially our sales man Jerry Christine. He says he will be there for any concerns or any questions but as soon as the real issues arise which happened fairly quickly after purchase, you can't get a hold of him. No matter how many times you call or wait. He sold us the insurance and wouldnt take no as an answer. Even after telling him NO about a hundred times. He even mentioned how 99% of people get it, trying to get me and he did unfortunately. After a lot of pursuing he sold us the insurance. It is a rip off since it's worse the dmv to get an appointment is booked months in advance. We waited three months for our apt. Instead I paid out of pocket to have someone come fix it instead. You have to bring it to the dealership to fix it, which is convenient . Another major problem, our trailer clearly came with problems like leakish problems under the kitchen sink and the toilet cluing up every week, the first week we got it. Lastly, the appointment system for the insurance you pay so much for is useless and minimum two month wait period. Horrible. Should've read the reviews. Super disappointed in Jerry Christine for never calling back on all the voicemails I left and emails. The entire team for selling a broken trailer. What a waste of money. read more

I had missed our trailer appt. Just totally forgot. Need to get my trailer up At the lake Alamnor by next wknd. Our trailer stays there for 6 months. Stacy did everything she could to try to get us in but the earliest date was end of May. Stacy hooked me up With Erika a service tech who walked me through steps to take to get our slide out back In alignment. She suggested to get some lubrication for the railings and rubber and add distilled water to the battery and told me how to sync the motors. And by golly it worked. What in thee heck is going on with this place?? TERRIBLE customer service. Gavin in Service is worthless. He can't run service, let alone follow through or return a dang phone call for MONTHS mind you. They can't keep staff... someone above needs to look into this because this place is going down. Also if they try and upgrade you to lithium batteries, make sure they change the converter. They didn't on ours and NO ONE has helped. Not Gavin, not the delivery department. NO ONE! We had to rewire the generator since it was done wrong and buy the correct converter to even make the system work properly without failing along with the $2500 batteries we upgraded too. Grand Design needs to step up with whom they have has a dealer when service lacks below average. read more

I'm updating my previous review after using the RV twice since purchasing. We have found the siding is lifting and bubbling, and fridge not working when turned to propane. Had to service and clean the AC unit. Christopher the marketing manager has never returned my calls. We paid high blue book for this trailer and was told they went through it to make sure everything worked, which I find that hard to believe. This is our 4th RV that has been purchased through a dealer and this has been the worst customer service as for communication and being lied to about what was done during preparation for delivery. If we had the opportunity to go back and purchase a Momentum from a different dealership, we would. Even if that meant traveling a little further. There were so many signs since day 1 of this process that we should have just pulled out and gave our business to a different dealership. This review is going to be very specific in each stage of the process and we would highly recommend reading it fully. We thought we chose the right dealership, based on the reviews (although they were mixed). We dealt with every person in Happy Daze from the general sales manager (Ralph), to multiple sales reps including Dora and Sam, to the staff at the delivery/service section. We started this process in September 2020 being told by Dora the model we wanted is about to go into the paint portion of manufacturing and if we don't want paint we have to make a decision (putting down a security deposit & signing a couple things) now so they can stop it from getting the full body paint. This trailer #1, had an offline date as October 9th then ~3 weeks for transport, estimated arrival in early November. Fast forward a month (Late October), radio silence from Happy Daze. So we give Dora, the sales rep a call. And we begin the bad news after bad news after bad news endless cycle. Dora told us now we are expected to get the trailer before Thanksgiving. It started off poorly when they allowed an employee to check me in (Brian) on his last day of work. He didn't write anything down so my issues were not included on the work order. I asked him several times to take not but he said "he wouldn't forget." Being the project manager that I am, I called a few days later to check status. The service manager (Galvin) told me it was good I called because they had no clue what I needed because Brian didn't include anything. (note: he should have called me to confirm) Well, I decided to go there to make sure it was written up properly. Galvin took care of me and got all my repairs done on schedule. The generator on the RV I had rented for 2 weeks stopped working. No one answered their "emergency service" number. I called the rental office; they did not have a replacement RV and could not get anyone to fix the generator. Finially said I was "on my own, rent a generator" then they wouldn't reimburse me for the cost. This review should be zero stars. Don't do busines withn these people! read more

I now am updating my 2nd review and dropping the stars to 1 After my last visit, things were good. As we were talking, I showed Joe that I needed a new door guide for the bottom of the bathroom door because the original one just snapped off while in travel. Joe said he didn't have one and would contact the manufacturer (Grand Design), he said these have been an issue. It has been over 8 weeks and I have not heard from Happy Daze RV, so I send Joe and Carrie and email on June 3, 2021 asking if the part came in. Carrie respond and said she would look into it. On June 7th I emailed them asking what the update is - I got no response. On June 10th I sent another emails asking for an update. Carries responded "Can you send photos to me?" I told here that Joe took pictures when I was there, however on June 19th in the afternoon, I sent pictures. Here we are today June 14th and I have nothing from Happy Daze RV. I have called Grand Design to ask for their help since Happy Daze is not helping me. I will also lodge a complaint to GD about this issue - they already have a complaint from my last time. Grand design mentioned that Happy Daze did order only 1 of these guides today (3 months after I first asked about it) Does anyone else have these kind of issues with Happy Daze? It should not take several mails and phone calls over a 2 or 3 month period to get a small part ordered! read more

Met Eric at the RV show in Pleasanton. Fell in love with MKE 17 Imagine by Grand Design. So much that we sold our 2007 RV and ordered one at a fair price. Picked it up yesterday. Carl answered all of our warranty and service questions and Kevin walked us step by step through the rig. Even allowed us to video all of the vehicle's functions for later reference.After a day of camping, we realized that it was a quick decision.... But the perfect one! He was standing there when we arrived on his phone and vaping. He acted like we were putting him out asking for help. I had great service in sales from Branden, who was knowledgeable, helpful, and honest. I purchased an Imagine XLS last week and this week took it out on a short "maiden voyage" near Sacramento this week as kind of a "shakedown cruise." It is a very nice trailer inside and out, but unfortunately the second day of the trip my hot water heater went on the fritz. But of course, that was the purpose of my first outing. I called the service department and spoke to Joe, who said he would "fit me in" and could quickly fix the water heater. So I pulled into the service yard on my way home and they were as good as their word -- they replaced a malfunctioning part in about 15 minutes. While Joe was fixing my issue, I spoke to Melissa about my Compass Connect program and after looking at it, she detected a Bluetooth Unit issue -- she then told me that she would start researching "the fix." I hear lots of horror stories about RV service departments but Happy Daze provided me with timely (!!) and courteous service -- they deserve a shoutout! read more

So far we've had a great experience. From sales to finance to service, everything has been great. We had been in the market for a travel trailer for a while and were willing to drive to nearby states to find what we were looking for. Fortunately, the nearest RV dealer to our home came through and was able to get us a fair price. Shelbie in sales was amazing and Judy in finance was a hoot. They made the buying process totally enjoyable. I was prepared for a fight but I ended up finding a great dealership that I will absolutely recommend to friends and family. I've got it in for service right now to make a few adjustments and the service guy is equally capable and friendly. They always do their very best to address and concerns or questions I have about our trailer. I have used to install our Solar and WiFi install. Josh did the installs and they were clean, efficient and looked factory which is important to me. My only regret is that I didn't buy our unit from them to start with.
