They sold me a lemon and said they fixed it 4 times only to have it break down on me daily

My boyfriend and I had been looking for a new scooter for myself. We went to every dealer in a 45 mile radius. We loved the staff here from the minute we walked in. There were several repeat customers in the store. Everyone was happy and friendly. We bought a 150 Italica Lampa. We were looking for a 50 but listened to what they had to say and their suggestions. Rip off Artist. BEWARE. Bought new Scooter today. Smooth salesperson. I was concerned about the oil leaking on showroom floor under the brand new scooter. Owner said it's normal and don't worry about it. I rode it 10 miles and the engine locked up. I called him and he said that it was my fault it ran out of oil and I voided the warranty. Now I have to pay for a new engine only after 10 miles on a new scooter. Buyers beware.!!!!!! read more

So we've been dealing with these "kids" for a couple years now. The guy who runs it is NO adult and definitely NOT a business person in any way shape or form. No professionalism of any kind. So they open when they feel like it so the hours might be 12 - 5 we get there on time to drop off a scooter for repair. They are THIRTY minutes late to open. EVERY time we have been there. They take the scooter for a tune up, the scooter sits there a week!! They NEVER call you, you have to call Them! AND then they don't answer their phones!!! So they never call to let you know if it's ready. We finally after the bike being there for a week! get a hold of some woman who says (remember its already been there a WEEK!) she says it'll b ready in an hour. So we call to see if its ready after Two hours. NO ONE ANSWERS the phone! so we drive 30 minutes to see the scooter ON THE LIFT!!! when we ask when they'll be done, when it will be ready they say "a couple hours" but they already had it an entire week! for a tune up they can do in an hour. so we leave it AGAIN. Totally unreliable and when you ask or say "it's been here a week" or the girl told it would be ready in an hour, we gave you TWO hours and its still not ready? and Now you say Another two hours?? the guy just shrugs his shoulders. Could Care less!! These kids are making money, if they are profitable, by Mistake. No professionalism at all, NOT dependable at all, uncommunicative, and ignorant. sorry to say. All the way around I feel like we got a great deal, we shopped at several places in the area and by far focus scooters was ithe most mpressive. Being that we didn't know very much about scooters, rich did an awesome job at educating us, giving us advice and helping my daughter learn to ride. It was a great experience and we feel secure knowing that maybe made a good decision. He's very, very knowledgeable. WARNING* STAY AWAY. The only thing these people do right is have scooters for sale. Other than that, Colton and his staff (Richard-mechanic and some lady-on the phone) are complete SCAMMERS!!! They charged my great grandmother of 85yrs of age twice of $150 in repairs, instead of once. Then they tried again $150 but my Gma's bank declined the transaction, so they keep your credit information just letting you know that. I have also went in for a simple battery issue, and had to pay over $500 cuz Richard said I needed a new Top/end Piston. They are very sketchy over there. Also, they don't tell you this, but if you buy a GENUINE scooter over there (like I did, Rough House50) that you can only get them serviced at genuine scooter shops to keep the 2yr warranty, plus they don't tell you the the only 2 other locations for genuine scooter repairs are farther south than them. Waaaaaaaay more south, I'm from Jupiter so you can see how they have a lot of leverage on certain people (like me). So I only get my oil from there (just cuz I don't want to use the wrong type, not a scooter guy expert) and that's it. ***And one more thing, if you do buy here and have to come for repairs etc., always take pictures of before and after your scooter gets serviced. I did luckily cuz Richard never told me but I checked my moped out after he fixed it and when I lifted the seat, my whole panel was cracked from all different angles. His response "Oh I didn't do that" but I had proof of my bike not having that before service. And once I started to get upset with the guy he said he'll look in the back for a replacement and I got it replaced with an older version of mine (it's not as bright white as the rest of my scooter and the gas gage looks like it's been weathered away). He even had the audacity to say no charge for part just labor and I said HELL NO!! So over all, don't buy here, not trustworthy people and with your information, and they replace parts with old parts instead the actually parts particular to your moped. Not only did they sell me my scooter new for a very reasonable price, but when I got in an accident Boca Scooters repaired my entire scooter including cosmetics for half the price my local place was charging for just the internal damages. They took a full two weeks to rapair my muffler. I had such a hard time getting around during that time. I called to see if it was ready after 12 days and it wasnt. On the 14th day i called and they said it was ready. They didnt bother to call me and tell me it was ready.Cost me 140 dollars just to fix the muffler. And all they did was weld a piece back . they also forgot to put bolts on part of the engine. read more

This scooter shop has no customer service and no sense of urgency what so ever. They leave you waiting without greeting you. I have ordered a scooter part from here in the past and they have miscommunicated my order two different times. making me pay $80 for a scooter part that I didn't need and then told me that there weren't any refunds. Four months later I came in for a oil change and the mechanic asked me if I wanted to get the service as well. I asked him "why would I need a service"? He asked me "well is your scooter having trouble starting up". I said "no it starts up fine". I then denied the additional service that he was trying to sell me .he than pulls my scooter all the way in the back corner of the shop. After the oil change I go to the gas station and when I go to turn it on it has trouble starting up. Seems a bit suspicious if u ask me. I will now be taking the scooter to get service elsewhere in a different county. Looking to replace a worn out 2005 Kymco People 2T for my teenage Son. Made a few inquiries by phone. Spotted a 2010 Kymco People 150 on their pre-owned site for $850.00, but that was not fanciable. My Son was pre-approved for $1500.00 with their online financing. My wife and I took my him down there with all intentions to buy. The experience was the worst I've ever encountered! Waited about 15 minutes to be waited on, once approached I introduced myself and crew and shook hands with a man that didn't seem very interested or even care to smile. When I clearly saw his lack of personality I quickly got to the point. What can we get for around the $1500.00? The only Scooter that would work was a new TaoTao, $800.00 + tax and tag. Not my first choice, but My Son needed that day and was driving it back to West Palm Beach and had to go to work that evening. $229.00 for 14 month the man abruptly informed me!!! Over 3 times the cost of merchandise!!! If he would have had a little more personality I would have asked how this is legal. I then asked how much he would take cash for the 2010 People 150 and he told me it was already marked down to $950.00. When I walked over to it I saw that it was rusted beyond safe scooting & was missing one of the front turning signals...seriously??? I told him he it was on his website for $850.00 and left the premises as quickly as possible! I later found out....he is the owner! read more

Came in to get a scooter, was looking to put 500 to 800 down on a new scooter and finance the rest. After waiting around for an hour twiddling my thumbs, no one else was in there trying to buy a scooter the sales man rich left me at the front. Sat there after waiting an hour for another 20 minutes and decided to call boca scooters, the place I was currently at for almost an hr and a half to get this scooter. Rich came back, said to wait a minute. 10 minutes later tells me I'm approved to put $500 down on a $700 scooter with taxes and fees was 1250.. so 750 I was going to be financed for.. come to find out they wanted 140 a month for 12 months! After putting 500 down on this $700 scooter. That's another 1680 dollars they wanted from me! 2180 for a 700 dollar scooter! Lol terrible service, absolutely awful service and terrible financing. Bet they do well with the junkies up the road in Delray but myself I'm never going back there read more
