Creole rice and shrimp and grits

Shrimp and grits was rice and creamy. I had not had fried grits cakes and was a nice surprise. Shrimp popped in my mouth: great. The creole rice was great. The liver did not overpower the dish but evident. It is worth the stop. Service very friendly. The space was a bit noisy but it is that kind of place- fun.

Stumbled upon this restaurant after hiking Mammoth Cave on a Saturday afternoon. No wait and seated right away. Cocktails were good. Voodoo chicken pasta was a little overcooked and the pasta fell apart easily. The flavor was good. The chicken biscuit sandwich was really good but the potatoes that came with it were too big and not cooked long enough. Overall, decent local restaurant and we'd probably return.

it's in a bit of a strip mall (ish) but it's in downtown bowling Green it's a quaint area. So thanks to my fellow yelpers I tried the jambalaya I'm thinking to myself jambalaya in bowling Green Kentucky but EVERYONE should try this jambalaya it's a bit on the spicy side which I absolutely love but it tasted so good and I have to say it was the exact perfect amount of rice with sauce two beautiful pieces of bread I use the last one to soak up the sauce amazing I have to say I'm still shocked. I did just go in and get it to go but the staff was very nice easy to order online and pretty darn quick I'm here for the week I guarantee you I'll eat there again.

As my bf and I were road tripping back home, we were in the area around dinner time and decided to stop for some food. I found this place on Yelp and liked the menu and it had great reviews so I was all for it. We found parking easily, as it's in a shopping plaza. We didn't expect the place to be packed on a Tuesday night but it was! The ambiance is cute, trendy, and seems like a family friendly spot. We put our name on the list and not too long after we were seated. Our server, I believe her name was Zayda, was awesome. Having been on the road for a few days our brains were mush and we were so indecisive. She was so patient with us and attentive... we loved her! To start we ordered the Bacon Wrapped Dates and the Crispy Brussel Sprouts. We enjoyed them, they were nice and hot and were the perfect balance of salty and sweet. As for the Brussel sprouts, my bf didn't care for them too much but I enjoyed them a lot. I feel like most places just burn the Brussel sprouts to a crisp and they're too dry and flavorless, but these were great! They had flavor thanks to the avocado & vinaigrette with it. My bf just said it was too different for him he prefers the usual dry kind. To drink they had pineapple high noons (the best flavor) in stock so that was a win for me! For our entrees, my bf ordered the fish special that night (minus the shrimp since he's allergic). The lady sitting at the table next to me ordered something that looked so good so I asked Zayda what it was and she informed me it was the veggie bowl with added salmon to it. Done, I was sold! I was already torn between ordering the veggie bowl and the Parmesan salmon so this was the best of both worlds! Our food came, and we loved our dishes! They were fresh and light and good portions. Even my bf said if we had this place where we lived he would come basically every day. Prices are great, food is great, service is great, it couldn't get any better. We then understood why they're busy on a Tuesday night. Instead of desert for the night, I opted for a Lavender Vanilla iced latte. It was delicious and kept me up for a while as we continued further on our roadtrip. Not sure if we'll be in the area again but if we ever are, we would certainly come back! Couldn't recommend this place any more!

Food awesome, decoration perfect, service a little slow. The feel is perfect. Decor fitting the establishment. Server knew so I will cut him some slack. Food off the charts.

This place was recommended as a great place to eat. I will definitely go back! I met a friend for an early "linner" at 4:30. We started with the Novo Board. The spicy pimento cheese and fig jam were delicious. The waitress was helpful as we asked what to order. She recommended the voodoo chicken and chicken sliders as her favorites. We went with her suggestions. Delicious. She was helpful and attentive.the portions were huge. The place was filling up when we left. Delicious food, cool joint, chill vibes, nice servers. What more could you want?!

Stopped for dinner after the Lost River tour at 7:00. Busy but got seated in about 20 mins vs 30 min estimate (good job!). Florentine pasta very good(lots of mushrooms) with creamy sauce. Fish and chips crunchy with flaky fish inside. Fries similar to those at a fair (yes, malt vinegar available). Margherita pizza very good (new pizza oven per server!) with lots of cheese and crispy edges crust. Bulgogi bowl good; flavorful and hot (temperature). Server kept drinks full!

Great vibe, decor, seating options. Our first Server was extremely polite and made spot on recommendations (we took both of them :) Unfortunately, I had to give only 4 stars because the second server was less attentive and you could tell she was at the end of her shift as she was anxiously waiting for us to finish up. The salad was perfect as-is, perfectly dressed! Only suggestion would be on the pasta - it lacked flavor. We didn't get any protein in it which may be the missing piece as meat or shrimp would be seasoned & add to the dish. To improvise we added some lemon juice from fresh lemon wedges, perfect! Otherwise we would definitely come here again!

Previously I gave a a generous review of five stars based on cocktails. And the cocktails are still pretty good. But we stopped by here on a Saturday for the first time at brunch time. Service was extremely slow, as one server was assigned to the entire section (we were seated in the lounge). That's not her fault--that's a management problem. I ordered the steak and eggs, rather than what I figured would be a messy burger, or the frittata, or avocado toast. I thought this dish would be the least likely to be screwed up. But the steak, served as tips, was full of sinew and fat. And it was about as burned as you can make steak. The breakfast potatoes were also burned until they were hard. The eggs overdone. This was such a huge miss for me.

I am confused by the name. What is the latest name of this business? Is it Novo 2.0?

I believe both names are used. The Novo 2.0 is more a descriptive nick-name that seems to have come about by virtue of updates made to the menu, and an added specialty bar space as they reinvented themselves post C19. The formal legal name is…

100% would recommend this restaurant!!!!…read more we arrived right at 5pm when they open back up for the day. firstly the atmosphere and customer service is top tier. everyone is super attentive and welcoming. we started off with mixed drinks, with a very wide selection, each drink we tried was perfectly mixed and balanced. we definitely would recommend the french martini and vette city. as for appetizers, we tried the fried pickles and jalapeños. the batter was light but crunchy and flavorful and the house made ranch paired perfectly with them. main courses i would 1000% recommend the chicken rosa. such a delicious dish with a creamy mash potatoes side and perfectly seasoned and sautéed fresh vegetable side. the lemon caper sauce paired with the chicken was stunning. chicken was cooked perfectly and still very juicy. the basil pasta dish was al dente with a rich, herby, and creamy sauce. the crème brûlée was the most delicious dessert to end the meal with a perfectly crunchy sugar top not too charred and the crème part was flavored very nicely with a good vanilla taste. 5/5 WOULD RECOMMEND

We were greeted by the hostess and told we could sit whenever we wanted and we chose the bar. The bartender got us a couple waters while we looked at the menu. After several minutes she came back and we asked for chips and salsa. Several more minutes passed before she came back and we placed our order for food. Not a complicated lunch. I ordered Chicken Tinga Tacos and my wife ordered the Chicken Chile Relleno. We waited about 20 minutes, food hadn't arrived, we had eaten all the Chips and Salsa and the bartender was ignoring us. We could see the kitchen and it didn't look like the cooks were even working. Not sure how you could not take care of probably a total of 10 people during lunch. We told the bartender and manager we were leaving because we hadn't gotten our food and to cancel our order. What has happened to this place? Has it changed ownership? All that said, we were talking to some friends the other day and they said we should try it again because the seafood selection was fantastic, soooooo we decided to hit it up for our anniversary. We got the oysters, and they were some small guys but out waiter Eli (ask for him) said that they were easy coast even though they typically get west coast. It was nice to have a knowledgeable wait staff that was super friendly and happy to talk through anything with us that we had questions on. We got the steak and sea bass and both were great! Creamed spinach and baked potato as sides were a good call as well. We took some friends with us and one of them got the shrimp and grits, and those grits were LEGIT. Soooooo, if you're looking for a fine dining experience in Bowling Green you could really either do Tony's or Hickory & Oak. In my opinion, Hickory & Oak gets my vote because Josh is one of us and I doubt I'll ever read any articles about him ripping off his employees or calling Kentuckians names, but this experience was so good at Tony's that I might swallow my pride here and there and stop in every once in a while for a delicious steak or some really great bourbon and wine.

While the salad was nothing out of the ordinary (except the chicken was quite good) she thoroughly enjoyed it. My chicken pot pie was really good and it contained lots of large chunks of chicken. Many places that serve this dish think all you have to do is put some pastry puff over the chicken and you have chicken pot pie. NOT! At Montana Grill, this dish was prepared like I would make it at home-a complete crust which does a great job sopping up the chicken and vegetables. The portion was huge and had I not been traveling, I would have taken some home. This dish was also served in a cast iron skillet. Service was excellent and appreciated after driving nearly 9 hours. We waited for nothing. Very happy to have been reintroduced to Montana Grill.
