Went with another couple last Monday 27th of January. I'm not complaining about the food or the service, my problem was I ordered a chief salad and the plate that came with it was only about (saucer) 4 inches round. I asked for a bowl and was told they were all in the dish washer. I said ok then could you bring a piece of bread so that i could keep the salad from sliding off the plate on to the table. The waitress informed me they had no bread and would have to bring me rolls and have to charge me for them. It's not that I could not afford the rolls it's I would be charged for them. I asked to see the manager, he was rude and did not offer a solution. I will never return/ if Mark worked for me I would fire him on the spot. His customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The waitress even made a snide remark, we are not a bread store. You have a great restaurant, but the manager either makes or breaks the place. He stated he was the district manager, WOW! Dear Lord, this place sucks! If you don't say anything, the pizza is under cooked and if you ask for well cooked it is burnt. Manager blames it on the coal fired oven yet Bocca Lupo in North Port gets it right every time. It's worth the 15 minute drive to North Port. read more

We have been ordering Bocca Lupo for the last year and this was the first time we came in and sat down for a meal. The food & service was very good, came with a group of 6 and got seated right away. We ordered the medium & spicy garlic wings, white pizza & the italian specialty pizza. Everything tasted great, wings were by far the best we've had in the area. Picked up take out here! Garlic knots were huge and delicious! Very buttery, could be a little more garlicky... Calamari was $8 for about 25 small rings. They were slightly overcooked and disappointing, I would NOT recommend the Calamari. The pizza was great! It reminded me of north East pizza. Crust was thin, it was very cheese (yum!) and the sauce was good (there could've been a little more sauce though). read more

Tried this for their 1/2 price pizza full moon . The large pizza was only $8 plus 2.50 per topping. The pizza is coal fired and was one of the best I've had in Florida. We also got a large Greek salad which was great. They've only been open at this location for a few weeks. read more

I gave them a 1 because I can't give them a zero. I started calling before 5PM for a take-out order, and could not get through. They robo suggested I try an online order. I placed the order a little after 5, and they said it would be ready at 6. I got there at 6, and it was not ready. The girl at take-out said she would check on it. She never did and started dealing with other customers. One customer could not find her online order number (they don't email a confirmation) and the girl said not to use the online system, it didn't really work, but call instead. The customer said they tried, but could not get through. The reply was "Keep trying. We'll answer eventually". When there were no new customers, they closed the pick-up windows, and just chatted, even as take-out food was being brought out. At 6:20, I had to go ask where my order was, and it was sitting on the shelf. By the time I got it home (10 minute drive), it was cold. This was my first (and last) visit of the season. They have plenty of business, and don't really care if you have to wait. Hopefully, another pizza shop opens in Wellen Park. Go to Irma's for tacos or the Florida Tap house, but please stay away from these bozos. read more

Please note if I I would give zero stars. Save your $$ Awful experience with tasteless pizza that was a soggy mess. Pizza was completely under-cooked making it absolutely disgusting and came with suspect ingredients. Ordered ahead and was told 30 minutes. However, it was almost an hour later when I was given my pizza. At least 2 employees cannot tell time or appreciate their customers having time constraints at lunch. Is it that hard to tell someone when the pizza will be ready? Just tell us the actual time because NOT everyone has an extra half hour to sit around waiting at lunch. Waiting that extra time and then to receive pizza slop is very disappointing. Save your time and dollars and go somewhere else. Gross tasteless pizza and lackadaisical staff. read more

Food is really good and that's why we come. Their service for our large party was not the best. Quite a few of our requests were just ignored. Ordered wings as an appetizer and they didn't come out until our pizza an hour later. The have a questionable policy to where 75% of your party needs to be here before you can be seated, they would rather that 8 of us clog up their foyer while we waited for the last 5 to arrive. First and last time. They forgot to make our pizza even though the server told them not get confused because she had the exact order at.another table. Manager did not come over and apologize which he should have. The greet took to long we were ready to leave and should have. When we finally got our pizza it was not good. Wawa has better pizza. $2.50 per pepperoni and $2.50 for mushrooms? It should have had more and better quality. Too bad I had hoped it would be good. read more

Killer good! The pizza is stone fired and delicious, much due to the high quality of the crust and the toppings. The wings are among the best I've ever had and I'm from Texas, where they didn't invent wings, but they darn sure perfected them. They are cooked properly (a rarity) with crispy skin and a little char, but not dried out. We got the cajun dry rub that was tasty and not overly spicy. The blue cheese dipping sauce was also excellent. We'll be back. read more

Good pizza...could have been more evenly cooked (rotate in oven) as one side was way less done than other, but overall very good and I will return...wait time for pickup was much longer than stated but that is anticipated in these crazy times. If you like coal fired pizza try it out. read more

Boca's pizza is really hidden mass. Their menu is simple and very American Italian. And they make some great rice balls. It is nothing fancy but a great place just to hang out and have a beer and pizza. The servers are always a pleasure to work with. If you get a pizza with lots of veggies make sure you ask for it extra crispy. The value for what you get is definitely worth it so I would give them a 3 1/2 star read more

The more I try other restaurants in the area, the better this one gets. Overall the food is good and fairly consistent. Definitely reccomend the rolls. They are a bit greasy like most of the items on the menu, but when you need a heavy gut check, they are there! Wings are definitely the best so far in the area! Ordered a large cheese pizza the other night. I should have looked at it before taking it home. It was burnt to a crisp. There was no cheese on it mainly because it was burnt. Tasted like cardboard. Had to throw it in the garbage..Also ordered spaghetti and meatballs. They serve in a brown cardboard box. Barely any gravy on it and most of it got absorbed by the box. Have mostly very good experiences here. Their food, especially their pizza, is quite good. Their Greek salad is delicious and a very healthy serving. A large is not needed as the regular size is plenty big enough for two or more people. It can be very busy and noisy. When they get too busy service is not at its best. read more

It was my first time having coal fired pizza and I really liked it! I had a personal size of The Italian and an order of wings with spicy garlic flavor. I highly recommend the pizza, but not the wings. They are finished off in the coal fire oven and honestly it gives them a char/burnt taste. I tried to get them to omit finishing them in the oven, but they said they couldn't do that. The wings were not spicy at all, but did have the garlic flavor. read more
