They have cats. The cats want you to pet them and show them attention. If u do not show them attention, they will back you into a corner and act all cute until you pet them. I called ahead, and the senora that answered was very nice and helpful. I have a tendency to talk while others are talking, and she didnt mind that at all. She held 3 pies for me until I got off of work. She didn't actually hold them in her hands for 8 hours. She had them in the freezer. 3 pies, and @2 pounds of peaches was $85.00. The marrionberry pie was incredible!!!! You take and bake. Instructions are on the box and easy to follow. Only if you are remotely able to follow directions, and have an oven. I am a Cement finisher and was able to accomplish this on my own, no help from my amazingly beautiful wife. The pies reminded me of my grandma's pies she use to make when i was a young lad, and she was alive. Hope this was helpful to a human. read more

I love this fruit stand and would go back, but the person working the fruit stand stared at me the whole time. When I went inside the store to look and browse at the olive oil he came and stood in the doorway and stared at me the whole time. I probably would've bought more, but I was so uncomfortable and it makes me question whether I'll go back. I love to stop at fruit stands so when I saw this little place on the way home from Quincy I had to stop. It was still early in the season so they did not have a lot of fruit and vegetables yet. The woman who let us in was very nice and they had a lot of other things to pick up from snacks to some craft items. I bought a great banana bread scented candle, home made pasta Sause, flavored nuts and other wonderful things. I only wish I had grabbed some of the yummy looking asparagus and tomato's but I will be back there later in the summer. So if your passing by make sure you check them out. Random stop on a road trip! We buoyed stretching our legs, getting a photo op and loading up on fresh fruits! We picked up some persimmons here that were delicious and learned about the "three seed" variety which were mild and not overly sweet or tannic. Tony's has the best peaches in town and yes it is worth the drive. They also have lots of other fruits and veggies like tomatoes, zucchini, plums, nuts, lotions, olives all kinds of stuff. What a cute spot along Hwy 70. We stopped in our way home from Chico. Small shop with jams, sauces, candles, lotions, and other fun things. We picked up late season peaches, which are very good. But the gal did slice one ripe one so we could taste the different kinds (yellow and white) They had all kinds of things I had never seen before - dried garlic cloves (we bought a bag). What a wonderful surprise! I've heard excellent things about this place from my coworker and when she shared some of there veggie chips I knew I had to go check this place out. Thankfully they keep up to date on Facebook so we knew they were open today. We were shocked at all they have there! We ended up with a lot more than the veggie chips! A gorgeous peach pie, arrangement of fruit, and garlic "chips", oh and we are going to try honeycomb for the first time ever!!! The customer service was above and beyond! This fruit stand in Marysville Yuba City area produces the very best peaches --from my vantage point --in the country. I only wish they were easier to get a hold of. The phone is never answered. But the peaches in the product they produce are spectacularly good. The great dilemma: communication with the customer is really important to keep the business moving. I suggest either someone answer the phone or produce a better medium for contacting the fruit stand. They do have a website. Possibly the problem is mine not theirs. Best fruit ever! If you happen to be traveling along Hwy. 99 in Marysville look for the pink signs along the road. They have terrific, ripe, but not squishy fruit and vegetables. They have signs asking you to not squeeze the fruit... and believe me you don't have to. The fruit they pick and sell is perfect. It will last up to a week, not go bad the next day. The main reason I stop here is for their STONE fruit. For those who do not know what stone fruit is... Plums, peaches, pluots, cherries, apricots, nectarines. The have freestone peaches and nectarines, which means the seed does not attach to the fruit. Which makes this fruit much easier to eat. They also sell: Vegetables, Fresh Eggs, Dried fruit and vegi's, Home made pie and local Honey. The local honey is very yummy as well. I have not tried the other items, but that is only because they are normally sold out by the end of the day when I am driving through. Definitely stop at TONY'S FRUIT STAND!!! read more

I got some amazing apples there to make my first apple pie of the season and it was delicious. Traveling home last week from Lake Almanor and we found Tony's Fruit Stand!! I'd give them five stars, except for I felt their signs were very misleading; they do NOT have a restroom / bathroom- they have an outhouse. The prices were amazingly cheap! We bought strawberries and cherries. They were gone before we got to Vacaville. Great customer service, very friendly people working there. Sweetest cherries and strawberries I've ever had. We went to purchase peaches from this stand and when we got home were shocked at what we found. We purchased a lug of Hales peaches, some had a little green on this but we felt they would ripen and be fine. However when we got home and laid them all out we found that had put seconds on the bottom layer. Not only were they almost completely green, they were brushed and had many brown spots. This was not just one or two, the whole bottom layer is not usable. Sneaky practice and we will NEVER go back. Tony's used to be really good years ago, but since it has changed hands it has gone downhill and now this. Very disappointed as we drove over an hour to get there only to be cheated. If purchase any lugs CHECK THE BOTTOM LAYER BEFORE YOU LEAVE. SHAME ON THEM..... read more

I stop by occasionally and buy in bulk for best price. Just found out, nothing is organic. Can you imagine the level of pesticide in the soil from years of spraying. When are people going to realize pesticides are poison! Know your "dirty dozen fruit and vegetables" to at least buy those organic. We stumbled on to Tony's Fruit Stand about 10 years ago and have been going every since. They have $1 bags of ripe fruits / veggies and a variety of nuts and other specials, the best honeys and peaches. You can sample anything, just ask that way you can purchase the best tasting that day. We live 4 hours away and now only make the trip every so many years so luckily we can order the Blackberry Honey, etc. and have it shipped to our home.
