The sliced beef is tender and delicious, the chopped beef is good but has more fat than I like. We usually take ours home, but dining in is also nice. The potato salad and beans are good. The prices seem a bit high, but barbecue usually is. read more

Very good barbecue. Extremely clean and inviting. The sides were very good as well. They could stand to smoke their meats a little bit longer but they were tender and flavorful. The sloppy Joe's are seriously outstanding and they only cost $1.50 on Wednesdays. read more

Cashier was nice and polite. The person working in the kitchen was a smart-_$$. They would not stay out of the ordering process. Every time as cashier asked a question for ordering process, they would mouth off from the back. The food has small amounts, over priced and dry. They needed to hand out water bottle is how dry it was. Terrible food that will give you diarrhea. Stay away from this place. read more

The ribs were to die for I had a sandwich and it came just how I wanted it ribs and link on the same plate . Yes Yes yes . Sausage, taters, and beans all had great flavor, but the brisket had very little flavor and required sauce. The brisket seemed to be cooked correctly, was fairly moist, and was not tough at all - just had no flavor. Service by the staff was friendly enough. Will try the sloppy joe on next stop. read more

Wayne the bar b que is just ok I am a native Texan and i have had BETTER beside food way to over price for the quality of food. Service is just ok overall very small portion on the barbque plates if you do not believe me get the 17.99 plate that is for one person you can imagine that time two. After reading the reviews for the sister locations, I decided to try this one for lunch while in Henderson on business. This must be a distant cousin because the only thing I found outstanding was the cole slaw and beans. I had the 3 meat plate with sausage, ham and ribs. The ribs were really over salted and the ham was dry. The sausage was OK, but so is Hillshire which is available in HEB. The sauce was OK, but not enough to make up for the poor meat quality.
