Staff is friendly, food is always good when I go there. Spanish hash browns are the best. Never had to wait for a place to sit. The lunch buffet is very good. I always go for the greens. This is my favorite cafe in Henderson. Others are good but this one for me is the best. Give them a try when you're in town. read more

We have breakfast here every time we come to Henderson in the mornings. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. The food is good, home style cooking. Portions are decent and the prices are very reasonable. Their daily lunch buffet is a great bargain with lots of variety. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault!!! read more

Probably the best hamburger I've had in a long time. But really all the food here is so good. The staff are extremely friendly and make you feel like family. My coffee cup is never empty when we eat here for breakfast! It's a cozy spot right on the circle in Henderson and you can tell all the local people eat here. Great place!! read more

We stopped by this family owned and operated 'cue joint (our 90th BBQ adventure in Texas) to learn whether they were still trimming the bark off the brisket (they are), and using a microwave to warm the plate (still the case). $35.18 purchased a 2 meat platter (brisket and links) with a medium side of baked beans, and a sausage plate with a medium side of potato salad. The latter is our favorite commercial product, while the beans are terrific-- a rich molasses based bowl into which we dipped the otherwise bland brisket to add flavor. The sausage and links both proved to be good bites, both packing heat, especially the links. We finished up with a sinfully good serving of pecan cobbler that, like the beans, we heartily recommend..

I asked our server, Logan, about it and she said she was sure another piece was coming out. It never did. When I asked again, she said the manager, Carlos, was supposed to come speak with us. He never showed up. We waited another 45 minutes to an hour and he still did not come by our table. Logan was a great server and we tipped her well, but the manager, Carlos, was completely unprofessional. He made no effort to come over or address our concern. It was very clear that he had no intention of making our visit a welcoming one. I boxed up the chicken fried chicken and threw it away. We left disappointed and will not be returning to this location.
