El Toros was the only contractor who was able to rebuild the concrete stair foundation retaining wall and also repair and install the top two brick steps on the new concrete. The 6-foot wide stairway collapsed years ago due to a bad concrete foundation. El Toros installed a new concrete retaining wall with a deep pad and rebar for strength, similar to a house foundation. They matched the stair treads and risers of the 60-year old original stair to perfectly connect to the existing elevated wood porch floor. I'll soon attach a photo to show the now safe, elegant brick stairway, which is fantastic compared to what it was before they rebuilt it!

They sold me unmatched tile, even though they had told me they would match. The invoice actually says "Color does not match, do not sell together". Also, the tiles did not match in height! I didn't sdiscover the mistake until my contractor had already started the prep job. All Natural Stone only gave me the option of returning the tile. I talked with them by phone and in person and they said they would try to give me a "dealer discount" (10%), a pitance considering the the extra work and materials needed to raise the narrower tiles to the other height. The store never got back to me, no compensation, no apology. I would not recommend them but, if you purchase, be extra aware for bait and switch.

Once we connected, we were upfront about our budget, but she repeatedly steered us toward higher priced options and was not transparent about individual product costs. She encouraged us to apply for store credit through Wells Fargo, and I was approved for significantly more than the cost of the flooring we were considering (probably a red flag warning that they will attempt to take you for more than you want to spend). Later that week, she came to our home for a site assessment. While friendly during the visit, she remained vague about installation costs. As she left, she promised to email a detailed quote within a day or two. After a full week with no word, I had to follow up. She responded several hours later with an estimate. The product pricing stayed within what we discussed, but the labor portion was estimated, but listed as "variable," with no fixed amount or not-to-exceed" number. Additionally, she couldn't even guarantee the final cost or confirm they could complete the job. As a contractor myself (in IT), I'm accustomed to providing customers with clear, capped pricing and a promise we will complete the work before they commit, especially on installation work. Its not as if I was hiding anything from her. She had full access to the home for her assessment. If she lacked expertise to properly evaluate the job, they should have sent a more qualified person. This lack of clarity made it impossible to move forward with confidence. After sending the quote, she never followed up and I haven't spoken to her since. Overall, Francine came across as inattentive, inexperienced and unreliable. We ended up purchasing our flooring elsewhere, and based on this experience, I would recommend doing the same.

It started with a 3D design which was helpful for us to envision what was possible. We then talked through the quote and made adjustments to fit our budget and meet our needs. Our project included cement work, pea gravel installation, sod installation, plantings and mulch, new irrigation, custom planters and trellis, removal and replacement of fence, and a retaining wall. We found Roberto to give honest and clear advice through all of our questions and he always responded quickly and gave us updates which was very helpful in helping us plan.
