Pacific Hardscapes worked in a family member's neighborhood and we were impressed enough to write down the name of the company after seeing the truck and the subsequent completion of the project. We are forever grateful we spotted them over a two-day project and were able to inspect their work and hire them for a pool deck and pathway. TY and his crew were amazing throughout a challenging process to remove a more than 40-year-old concrete pool deck, while coordinating the installation with another contractor resurfacing and partially remodeling an equally old pool. Unfortunately, the pool contractor caused a logistical delay that cost Ty and his crew a few days delay, but we were fortunate that Pacfic returned to complete our project regardless of that hiccup. In fact, Ty was there in more ways than one in assisting the elderly grandmother/homeowner. This project was long overdue and the first chosen paver company -- prior to seeing Pacific Hardscape in the neighborhood -- that was the low bid for the project tried to change and add on additional costs on her already tight budget. Fortunately, Ty was able to fit our project into his busy schedule and had a honest and straight forward approach to both estimating and handing the design. He even let us add in some additional lighting for grandma's safety at night in the backyard. We have already recommended Ty to friends and will hopefully get to work with him in the future at our own home.

New overhang and beautifully installed pavers. Pathway to lagoon from house.

We just finished our backyard renovation and are soo thrilled with it. Ty and his Pacific Hardscape's team were absolutely terrific. Nothing seemed to be a problem for them. We had an idea what we wanted, but did not have a set design. They helped us with the design, paver selection, and troubleshooting our overhang. They did an amazing job, meticulous to details, and their craftsmanship and work ethic exceeded our expectations. Besides the great paver installation, they built us a beautiful outdoor kitchen which we are really loving. They are easy to work with and such a great team, I would highly recommend them to anyone!

We just completed a backyard overhaul with Pacific Hardscapes and we absolutely love it! I had been working with a different company initially and they were horrible to work with. They overcharged me and told me that they could not complete my vision and suggested revisions. When I called Pacific Hardscapes, Ty not only came out to see the site right away, he was able to do exactly what I envisioned and even made additional suggestions to make it even better. Additionally when we were struggling to find a pool company to complete the pool renovation, Ty used his connections to help us find a pool contractor that could work within our timeframe. Additionally, Ty navigated this complex project that included multiple contractor and even worked with the city of Larkspur when they were called out by a neighbor. Not only did I get my dream backyard, but it was also one of the most pleasant contractor experiences we've had. Before and after pictures for reference!

Ty & his crew did an excellent job building a retaining wall & outdoor kitchen in my backyard.

Outstanding experience, outstanding result. My wife and I are really happy with the new driveways…read moreinstalled by the System Pavers crew. The front of our house looks fantastic and we're getting lots of compliments from neighbors and people walking by. We solicited bids from multiple contractors, ranging from our longtime general contractor (who "had a guy who does pavers") to other paver specialists. Here's why we went with System Pavers and why we can recommend them to other homeowners: --Communication and responsiveness: From the start, our sales consultant, Kelly Casper, was easy to work with. He offered helpful suggestions, explained their process clearly, and responded promptly (sometimes immediately) to any question via text or email. That same level of clear communication and responsiveness carried through with our project manager, Oscar Maciel, who is a consummate professional. --Knowledge and skill: Our project wasn't simple and we had a lot of decisions to make and challenges to solve during the process. For example, our two driveways are at slightly different levels, which required careful consideration with leveling and drainage. We also deliberated about whether we wanted a single or double border. I'm a very hands-on client and asked lots of questions. Oscar troubleshooted everything with me, explained all my options, and we came up with the right approach. When we changed our minds mid-project about the height of the divider wall between driveways, Oscar worked with Yobel, the construction lead, to make the changes without disruption. I think this is the #1 reason I'm glad I chose System Pavers, because I'm not sure I would have the same confidence in a general contractor or budget pavers contractor. --Quality and commitment: Yobel and his team worked diligently and I watched their progress from demolition and excavation to adding the base layers. They did everything well and worked over the weekends to catch up after some delays with the availability of the stone we chose. Overall, a positive experience from start to finish.

Our backyard project was complete in under 3 weeks! Long review: We had the pleasure of working with Design Consultant, D'Andre and Project Manager, Ryan. These two guys restored my trust in the construction and customer service industry as several past experiences with other companies left me scarred and afraid to do business with anyone. I started an inquiry on Yelp at 6am and was scheduled an appointment for the same week, all before 7am without any issues. My husband took the morning off to be at the appointment so we appreciated D'Andre's punctuality. In fact, he was punctual to all subsequent appointments which spoke volumes to us, as respecting others' time is something we greatly value. He was respectful to our space, professional, and knowledgeable. He produced a 3D rendering and quote the same day and set realistic expectations. He offered various suggestions to tweak our design to fit our budget. We had reservations about turf so he stopped by on a different date to bring us samples we could see and feel to ensure we were comfortable with what we were purchasing. Additionally, he took us on a stone yard visit so we could get a real life visual representation of the pavers we were selecting. This proved to be an important step because we ended up selecting a different size, finish and determined the orientation that they would be laid in. He was always so patient with us as my husband and I didn't always agree on selections. He was super responsive and was always a text or call away -- even with welcoming a new baby into the world! Our HOA kicked our design application back 3x, which was incredibly frustrating, but D'Andre was literally there every step of the way updating things promptly to ensure our project wouldn't be stalled. Once we obtained HOA approval, a pre construction walkthrough was scheduled with our Project Manager, Ryan. I met with Ryan and D'Andre for the walkthrough where we confirmed the design plan. Ryan was very personable, professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He happily answered all my questions and set the construction timeline expectations. He encouraged me to do a quick walkthrough each night and let him know if there was anything off so he could address it immediately. He was very communicative and sent me daily progress pictures and/or videos with thorough updates. One of the biggest things that stood out to me about Ryan -- and I deeply respect him for it-- is that I sent a photo of the turf and asked about seam visibility early in the project and he DID NOT gaslight me at all! Rather, he reassured me that after the project was complete it would look better and he was right. He was very responsive and was always a text or call away. He even provided us with measurements and made recommendations on where we could get rocks from to fill our walkways and back wall. His team also did a good job with keeping the job site clean. A few other things came up, but they were quickly resolved with minimal impact on the construction timeline. We did have to incur some extra costs; however, they absorbed some of it and also paid to have our retaining wall bench go one row higher, which we initially had to cut out our budget. So that was a wonderful surprise! All in all, our experience was great and their process is so seamless and easy. I would not hesitate to do business with them again! We love our new modern/minimalist backyard and are already enjoying the space!
