I come here on my break at least once a week and get a cold tea and a croissant or a focaccia roll. It always makes my day. They also have an excellent selection of wine, cheese from Amish Country, and some amazing ice cream. All very reasonable prices. My family and I absolutely love the bodega, if we don't feel like cooking it'll always be our first choice! The food is amazing quality and always taste amazing. The prices are beyond affordable, especially the brown bag deal it's cheaper and better quality than any fast food around! The workers are all beyond friendly and amazing, it feels like the perfect small town hallmark movie shop. You're immediately greeted as soon as you walk in, everyone is so attentive and enthusiastic to take care of you. My first time ever coming was when they made a tzatziki chicken quesadilla and I've been hooked since, I still think that was my favorite meal I've had. Fingers crossed it comes back! read more

We picked up dinner from Bodega today because we had a training class at 6 and didn't have time for a sit down dinner. It's owned by Coldwater Cafe, easily the best restaurant in Miami County. It's a match made in food heaven! We had lasagna and broccoli salad. That was lasagna made with rich tomato sauce and a beef burger base. Oh, so yummy! The broccoli salad was very good. Horrible experience on Tuesday, Sept 2, 2025. They advertise evening brownbag meals are served starting at 4P. I was there at 3:55P, I needed several other items, so I completed purchase of all items on my list. I then went to cashier and paid for my items, total approximately $50, including my brownbag dinner. I was advised the dinners were still not ready, possibly another 30 minute wait. I waited until 4:30P and I was finally notified the brownbag dinner meals were ready. I went to the cashier, requested my one brownbag dinner. The guy started interrogating me about my prepayment, this pissed me off as there were several other customers waiting. I gave him my receipt and described the guy who I paid my $50 to. I thought this was very disrespectful and I will not be returning to Bodega in the future. I had been a good customer in the past, your loss Bodega. Try hiring a more professional staff that knows better than to insult and disrespect customers over a stinking $11 dinner, what an idiot. Also when you advertise dinners will be available at a given time, at 4P, have them ready at 4P! read more

Truly fantastic wine selection for being in such a small town! The wine curator obviously knows great wine as I was blown away by the selection and prices. They have everything from "beginner" cheaper blends all the way up to fine wines from France, California and my home state of Oregon. In fact, they had a few of my favorite bottles of Pinot Noir from Oregon which I've had a hard time finding in Ohio. As for the prices, all of the wines were fairly priced from what I'm used to. Even their higher end wines were comparable in price to what I would find on the west coast. I didn't try any of their food but it looked delicious. I did however go home with one of my favorite bottles that I can't wait to open. If you're looking for a great wine selection at fair prices this is definitely the place to go! read more

Yes yes YES! Just want to give a list of the cold items we have enjoyed so far...chicken salad is excellent - even better than my previous favorite DLM. Their croissants are amazing with it. Pimiento cheese spread is very, very good. The fresh rosemary focaccia bread is out of this world, salty & rosemary-y and so soft yet with a tiny bit of chew. The broccoli salad is the best I've had anywhere. I'm not even much of a fan of it other places, but here it's in a bright, citrusy dressing. The broccoli is super crispy rather than chewy & wilted. It's not drowning in dressing but there's enough to make it taste good. The day I had it they had put blueberries and cashews in it, which was a surprisingly good combination. I recently tried the heat & eat lasagna and it was quite good, but I would prefer a bit more sauce. I haven't managed to get any of the daily meal specials yet, but hope to soon. Just discovered this place and cannot believe I hadn't been here before now. With Covid, their operations are probably very scaled back. Looks like there is seating in a raised section in back but the chairs are stacked up & no lights are on up there. I imagine they had quite a little thing going on with wine tastings, etc. In the meantime, definitely make a trip there for some carry out. The products & quantities are limited, but you'll probably find something. Each day they have a different full meal for lunch and dinner. The wine selection is the best around and the staff is very good at helping customers select a good wine for the meal they are planning. The food is often good, too, and whenever we are visiting my MIL, we stop in to see what's new. They have lunch and dinner specials every day and most of them are very good and some of them are excellent. For some reason, all the salads and salad dressings are all much too sweet. Whether it is pasta salad, green salad or a meat salad sandwich, it is laden with sugar or honey. Personally, we don't like sugared meats and vegetables, preferring to keep sweets as the dessert course, not every single course in a meal. Cutting back on sugar and honey in salads would read more
