Cleanliness 5 The restaurant was very clean, to include the bathroom which usually is a good sign of cleanliness of the facility. Service 5 Susan sold everything about the restaurant, her presence alone made us want to return for another meal. We also observed Susan help a young couple who entered the patio area with dogs. She greeted them and immediately brought the pets a bowl of cool water. Food 5 All of the food was delicious. The combination of flavors was flattering and everything was hot and fresh. Greek Toast: (Fresh ricotta w/ honey and sprinkle of sunflower seeds. Added fresh fruit -strawberries and grapes-was extra) Basque sandwich: (Fresh ricotta, omelette, tomato avocado, and chorizo) Breakfast burrito: (sweet potatoes, sausage, omelette and black beans) Vanilla Lattes (w/almond milk): great for an American espresso latte. Service was horrible. It was busy, and the staff was not having it. It took about 30 minutes to get a cold sandwich with grits that were also cold. I have no idea why I tipped considering the service I got was not worth it. Only giving 2 stars because the outside patio was a great location to sit and bitch about this shitty spot. My friend did say the service is better when it's not busy, but if you know you're busy on Sunday why not have more staff? read more

Amazing coffee (only place in the CSRA I've seen using a La Marzocco - says means a lot), great gelato selection, delicious breakfast options, and a full bar to boot? Sign me up, all day every day. The one thing me and my party was worried about were the food portions. We didn't think it was going to be enough, but the sizing of the food was actually pretty good. The only downfall was the waiter that we had had an attitude, and it was kind of throwing me and my party off. Other than that the place is okay for brunch. I've already said it before, but I love this place. I've tried several things and they've all been good. This morning I had the smoked salmon BLT and a caramel breve and it hit the spot. I'd gladly order that again for breakfast. It's hard to order the same thing twice here because I want to try everything at least once. Its kinda expensive and kinda not that great. Youre better off getting a coffee and ham/egg/cheese croissant from dunkin. Tried their lamb special once. Sucked. I love mayonnaise but the Basque was just a mayonnaise sandwich. Sucked. I think they have alcohol so 2 stars, otherwise it sucks. Ultima means last one in spanish and thats fitting. read more

We had breakfast at Bodega Ultima and had such a pleasant experience. Our waitress Ainsley was on her first day of serving and she did an amazing job. The food was delicious and the casual atmosphere was perfect for a Sunday morning breakfast. We had the pleasure of talking to the owner, Cary, who is the son in the father son combo who made us feel like we were regulars. The interior and outdoor seating areas are very beautiful and trendy, and my friend was quite impressed with their drink selection, especially the various teas on display. We went on a Saturday and was surprised to be informed they had happy hour, which I recall it's rare on weekends...? My friend ordered the Brussels sprouts and omg omg OMG! Better than any other ones I've had - it was even better than the ones smothered in butter & bacon! Whatever they did to it - it was delicious. The patio is awesome! We've come here for breakfast and for late night drinks. The have a full coffee and tea bar as well as full alcohol bar. The Estrella beer is a good go to. Sandwiches are great. I would definitely recommend trying it out. read more

Terrible. Not sure if this is supposed to be a coffee shop or dog park? Bottom line is no servers, weird dogs roaming around eating under tables and barking at each other, and well used chew toys for all of them to share. Came here with my family and promptly left after seeing a dog without a leash or owner (?) eating under a table. They need to seriously look at their dog friendly policy to make sure humans can actually eat here. read more

Well what can I say. This place was simply amazing. I really enjoyed the unique menu items and having a good list of things to choose from. This establishment is very welcoming with its modern decor. It was a nice spring evening therefore my friends and I opted to sit outside. The outdoor area is very scenic and spacious. The restaurant is located in a well known area call Surry Center not far from The Augusta National which is known for the Master's golf tournament. The restaurant has just recently just started serving dinner and it seems to be very popular already. The staff was very nice and explained the menu items in detail. This is a tapas restaurant so when looking at the menu please order more than one item and enjoy. read more

Absolutely love this place! Coffee is excellent! Brought a friend visiting from New Haven and he could not stop complimenting the drip coffee. The brunch food is delicious, i love the salmon lox or garden toast if you want something light. This place has a chic atmosphere with the drinks to match. I would highly recommend a Bloody Mary-- my favorite in town. If you're looking for huge hearty portions and that old school breakfast this would not be your jam, but this a is great contemporary spot with delicious food, breakfast services all day long. I am in town for work and needed a space to get some work done outside of my hotel so I looked up coffee shops in my area. To my surprise, this place does not only serve coffee but also serves food as well as alcohol (full bar). I ordered a cinnamon and honey latte and sat outside as you can see in the picture. I loved how spacious the outdoor seating was and how convenient it was for me to get work done there. If you're looking for craft coffee, I wouldn't suggest coming here as the latte I ordered was not by any means craft but it was a great experience nonetheless and met the needs I was looking for. read more

This is a cute little coffee shop. We stopped by after church on a Sunday because we needed free wi-fi to do some work. It has a nice ambiance and was pretty busy for a Sunday. I had a cold brew coffee which I loved. Didn't even. We'd to add cream and sugar because it was so smooth, which I like since I'm trying to cut down on the sweeteners but am having trouble giving up coffee. We also had the breakfast burrito. It was good, nothing special about it but the taste was good enough for us to finish it. There was a decent number of outlets spread out throughout the inside of the cafe for those that require it. Also a nice patio seating area to hang out. Would love to check this place out at night and experience the evening scene. read more

Tucked away in the corner of Surrey Center is a hidden gem with delicious food, and an authentic Euro-fusion themed atmosphere. The wooden bar is very inviting as is the comforting aroma of ground espresso beans. For our meal, we stared with the hummus platter that was accompanied with fried eggplant, assorted pickled vegetables, and a medley of breads for dipping. I have had a lot of hummus in my foodie lifetime, but this is by far the best hummus I've tasted locally. "Creamy" is the best word to describe it. Creamy comfort. It differs from a more lemony styled hummus. Our entrees were the Trashcan wrap, and the mixed kale salad. My dinning partner's wrap was nicely balanced with a good flavor and satisfying tang. It was accompanied with a house-made potato salad (papas were the alternative). My kale salad had a ridiculous amount going on with it. Topping a bed of crisp kale tossed in vinaigrette was an assortment of 'mini-meals'- avocado, shrimp salad, a rustic canned tuna, thinly sliced turkey, boiled eggs, and a crown of bacon. A truly hearty salad. Capped off with an Estrella on draft, this was a delightful lunch. It is more of a cafe styled establishment with nice indoor/outdoor seating. You order at the bar, and the food is brought to you. Teas/waters are self serve. I highly recommend Bodega Ultimate and look forward to coming back for both breakfast and another lunch. read more

WOW, has this place gone down hill. We've been coming here on and off for the last several years. Whenever we are in town to visit family. Today was our last visit. My girls and I went in with face masks on and we think that's where the problems started. We were told to sit anywhere and a server would be over. We waited over 20 mins before someone came over. We ordered two meals and a side of Papas. My sandwich (ham & cheese with bacon on a croissant) came out with the potato salad (I don't recommend it) plus an order of brussel sprouts (they were OK, nothing to write home about). Then 10 mins later, no lie my daughters burger came out. It was cooked well and tasted good for a cheap fair burger! Then 5-10 mins after the Papas came out. They were good and hot. Our waitress never came over to check on us. We witnessed other tables being served immediately and all their food coming out together. Very disappointed! read more

Trashcan wrap was fabulous with tandoori chicken! The mint tzatziki sauce made it feel cool in my mouth. Such a wonderful combination. I finally got around to visiting Bodega Ultima & I am so darn glad I did. A few of my attendings have mentioned how much they love this place. I know why. The ambiance Bodega has created is one of a kind in Augusta - a coffeehouse/pub with patio seating and a full menu. Something for everyone. I hear they have gelato too! I've been here a few times, and I kinda like the vibe. It's tucked away in Surrey Center and has a somewhat eclectic vibe. I love the heavy wood detailing and the contrasting black metal finish inside the bodega. They have an outside eating area, which is shaded. Whenever I've visited it has never been busy, but always has a good amount of customers for its size. I usually have the yogurt parfait, which I love. It has thick Greek yogurt and fresh cut fruit which is topped with this amazing granola and delicious honey, super yummy. I also have the cold-brewed coffee with vanilla and caramel syrup. I love, love it, and I am not a fan of coffee. The staff is friendly, but there are no servers per se. You order at the bar and pick your food up there. I'm not really sure how I feel about that, but it really doesn't detract from the food or the vibe. So, if you are in the area give it a try. read more

I ordered the Basque Omelette, bacon, a sweet tea, and a coffee. The omelette had an aioli that wasn't listed on the menu in it and it was basically mayonnaise. Who puts mayo in an omelette? The sweet tea was brewed horribly. It tasted like dirty water. The bacon was great quality and cooked correctly and the coffee was wonderful though. In a word: EXCELLENT You can judge a place by the simple things that it does well. The coffee was pretty good but the real star of the show was the bagel I had. Granted it was a little over toasted but not unforgivable. The thing that makes it special though is the salmon cream cheese. Once we ate here, we were incredibly surprised to see how much more they had to offer. We came here for breakfast to find an absolutely unassuming environment that offers uniquely delicious options. We paired our breakfast with properly brewed coffee. Please, take it from us (top 2% on TripAdvisor), you will not find another place in Augusta that offers so many exquisite options. The Bodega offers a few niche offerings. They have a market, they sell wine by the glass or by the bottle, they have a full bar, they serve breakfast and lunch every day, but in each of these offerings, the products are all strategically limited. 1.) They offer a coffee menu that offers enough options to satisfy most coffee drinkers, but the craftsmanship and quality will please even the most discerning coffee drinker. 2.) The menus offer a handful of options that are crafted with unbelievably fresh ingredients and creative flavors. 3.) The wine options were few, but seemed to be carefully selected offering a variety of grapes and vineyards. 4.) The market has been really well planned. The shelves contained so many items that we never knew we needed. There are many items that we plan to go back and purchase as they now have become necessities in our home. Bottom line - Bodega Ultima has now become one of our favorite places for coffee, food, drink, and retail therapy. read more

I love the atmosphere that this place has. They have amazing coffee and hot chocolate and their burgers are awesome too. It's a quiet but cozy spot to watch the rain on a fall day. Their cold brew packs a punch and tastes bold and rich, their cocoa is just sweet enough to get your fix, and their burgers are done to perfection. I did have the biscuits and gravy special that was really salty. But that's my only complaint, and I will be back again to try their menu soon. read more
