Yikes. First off let me start by saying I hardly ever leave negative reviews, it is just not something that sits well with me. Everyone is trying to eat a living and I never wish to jeopardize that in any way. I took 2 weeks to think this over before writing a review. I booked a 90 minute deep tissue massage here and was greeted on time by my massage therapist and taken back for my treatment. Her consultation wasn't very thorough and her demeanor felt a little bit cold and bothered but everyone has bad days. I routinely receive deep tissue massages every 4-6 weeks with my regular massage therapist (at a different company) but I booked this treatment last minute as she was unavailable. I have never had a massage feel irritating to my skin before. The massage therapists pressure was very light (I requested and paid for deep tissue) to the point where the movements began to feel irritating. I kept thinking to myself should I just stop the massage but I didn't as to not hurt any feelings. I should have, this is my fault. My treatment was also completed 10 minutes early (resulting in a 80 minute massage as opposed to the 90 minutes I paid for). Now I understand a lot of spas allowing changing time in that 90 minutes however this is usually about 2 minutes the disrobe and 2 minutes at the end of the treatment to change. Finishing 10 minutes early was a disappointment. At the end of my treatment there were no pleasantries exchanges or advice on how to proceed post massage as I am accustomed to therapists giving in the past. As I was sitting in my car looking up the address of my next destination, my massage therapist got in her car and drove away so I know that the ending of the service early was not due to a packed schedule on her part. Please understand I am not naming my massage therapist as I do not wish to cause a negative impact on anyone's business , I would simply like my review to serve as a learning and growing opportunity for this business and their training practices. I have had many wonderful treatments in the valley from start to finish, but sadly I will not be returning to this establishment. read more

Regarding the woman who had a bad experience, I feel bad you do not like the results of your hair. I was recommended to Marina a few months ago, by a friend who gets her hair done there, cut and color, and I just loved what she did for my friend. I went and went from very dark brown long hair, to very beautiful blonde highlights. She had to do a lot of correction that I had from another stylist. she took her time, because she is a perfectionist, and because of that I am sure she would have had no issues redoing your hair. I do not know her too well, but from what I do see in her, as a professional and a sweet person, she would accommodate your needs. I look forward to getting back in there and getting my touch up and my hair cut. I would recommend Marina and body beautiful to all my friends. I had tons of compliments on my hair, and people loved it better now than before. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I visited a few Fridays ago, and it was appalling. The wrap, robe, and headband they gave me for my facial were dirty and stained. After my massage and facial, I found some kind of residue stuck to the bottom of my feet from walking on the floor. The tools used in my facial looked grimy, and the blankets were reused from the previous client. The floor had black residue and oil stains, which was just disgusting. To top it off, when I walked into the lobby, the owner-an older woman with long white hair-was being rude and demeaning to her staff. Then she aggressively pushed me to buy products from her crappy boutique, despite my repeated refusals. My experience at Body Beautiful Spa was incredibly disappointing. If you're looking for a better spa experience, I highly recommend trying It's a Secret Medspa just down the street. read more

I seriously love this place. I have been to many spas in the last 15 years, in a few different states. Because I have such sensitive skin and am allergic to a lot of things, I tend to have bad reactions getting facials and massages. I even consult with each spa first to make sure it is a fit for me. I have been going to Body Beautiful Day Spa for years and to this day it is THE BEST facial I have ever had! My first facial I had there, I actually left with my face looking better than when I arrived. Plus, their staff is amazing. They are always so sweet and call me every year on my birthday and offer me a free service for my birthday and being a client! I am definitely a client for life! read more

I have the membership with Body Beautiful. Its a great deal and a wonderful way to make sure you set aside some time each month for yourself. But to be honest I am keeping my membership because of Michelle whom does my facials. She is brilliant and has turned my skin completely around. I walked in to a facial with her 3 months ago with hormonal acne and acne from dramatically changing my diet. As an adult, its quite embarrassing to be suffering from worse acne than you had in your teens. After one hour with Michelle my skin was transformed and every session since my skin has improved more and more. She really is a skin guru. Worth every penny. read more

Another amazing experience at Beautiful Body! Today is the anniversary of my grandmothers tragic and sudden death.. it is always a hard day. Savannah was so accommodating and supportive. They were able to arrange for me and my friend to come at a time that the masseuse would usually be gone for the day. Gave us time after to unwind and relax together since we were the last people for the day. I am here once a month and everytime I have an even better experience! Ashelee took great care of me and really educated me the whole way through my first botox treatment and made sure i was very comfortable with our treatment plan before moving forward with injecting me. All of the staff made me feel very comfortable and at ease during my time at Body Beautiful Spa. I have seen great results from my treatment so far and will definitely be coming back for more botox and maybe even some filler before the holidays! The spa is beautiful and has so many additional amenities that you don't normally find at a day spa. They have a boutique with clothing and jewelry and a smoothie bar to die for. In addition, they educate you on your services so that you know exactly what you're getting and they inform you of questions you should ask when visiting any spa. The pricing is phenomenal and the monthly specials are great. Lastly, I always feel at home when I visit Body Beautiful I never feel like I'm just a number. read more

I have found Body Beautiful Day Spa to be filled with qualified technicians that all have their own specialty. The massage therapists are all fantastic. They offer a wide variety facial services, nail treatments and the professionalism amongst each person from the greeting you receive at the door through each service you choose. Marlena, the owner, is horrible to her employees. I have witnessed first hand her berating and talking down to employees. I have also heard her talk disgustingly disparaging about her employees in front of customers. This is inappropriate and I will not be a patron of a business that runs this way. Of course if there are issues that need to be handled that's fine, do it behind closed doors. This is disgusting behavior, especially in front of customers. I won't be back. read more

One of my favorite places for injections! They have an amazing staff that is very knowledgeable about the services and products they offer. Newly remodeled and beautiful inside. Rhian is the best for injections, all of their estheticians are great, as well as massage therapists. I am a spa member and I love to enjoy a massage or facial treatment every month. Their membership is just $65 a month so it's a great price, love this place! read more

Gail took great care of me and was very sensitive to my needs. She was very personable and engaged me in interesting conversation. She actually suggested a service that cost a little less than I was expecting to pay and I got even better results than I did when I got more units of Botox in the same area (different spa.)
