Last year I moved to Phoenix. I had been interested in microblading for a while but was concerned about finding the right aesthetician to do them. I happened to compliment a coworker's brows and she admitted she had gotten them microbladed at Sage Organic Skin Care. I booked an appointment immediately. I am obsessed. Amber does a phenomenal job. She is clear about the process, honest and direct. I appreciate it and while she tried to downplay what I should expect, she exceeded all my expectations. Amber is an artist. Until yesterday, I had only gone to Amber for my brows. Yesterday I had a facial. It was amazing. My skin looks today. I'm rocking the no make up look. It was so relaxing, I seriously left feeling like I was tipsy . You can ask Amber about that. If I could give six stars, I would. I had a living social for this place, which is a great way to explore new places. I'm so glad I did. Like I said, I had a LS and when I called to make an appointment she was fully booked through the expiration date. I've experienced this before and immediately thought "oh great, I'm out money". But she she promptly told me she was extended the expiration date because of the huge response she had with the deal. Um, that NEVER happens. I don't know where to begin with this review and the amazing experience that I had at Sage. I am very picky with where I get my facials done, which I have tried many many places, I was hesitant to try a new place on which a whim. When I spoke with Amber I wasn't even going to make an appointment but she was so accommodating and sweet, I immediately felt at easy. Sage conveniently located no matter what part of town you are coming from, but I would drive as far needed to come here again. The space is decorated very cute and feels warm, also is very clean. No worries about cleanliness here. Everything about my facial was amazing.. The bed is so comfortable, all products used are organic and I mean truly organic not just "natural" so no worries about mast chemicals here. I was so relaxed when I walked out. I also appreciated that there was no high pressure sales to purchase all of the products that were used, this always happens at most spas. When I woke up the next morning my skin was glowing.. The facial was very gentle so I wasn't sure what to expect as far as results. I have never had such good results from a facial. All my facials will now be done at Sage. I had my first facial from amber and had an absolutely wonderful experience. She uses completely natural, organic products (hence the name). I was somewhat skeptical that I would see the same results as I do from some of the high-end resort spas I visit where they use products such as obagi and skinceuticals. Amber is incredible and this place is exactly what organic, raw, and local business should be. She uses all natural, organic and earthy products for her facials which is very important for those of us who don't want chemicals and fragrances seeping into our pores. She uses a lot of steam which I found quite relaxing and I could tell it really aided in allowing the product to soak in and naturally exfoliate. I have been struggling with breakouts for the past couple years and am working very hard to combat it internally since most skin issues derive from internal imbalances or toxins. I love how the treatment room does not feel cramped for space. Not only is her studio inviting and relaxing, but she sincerely takes the utmost interest in your skin, what has improved, remembers little add ons that you may enjoy during your session and gives suggestions as to anything that can help with any concerns you have. Her upbeat vibe and natural products make the experience. Unfortunately, I do not get to go monthly for facials due to time, but feel 1000 times better each time I can.
