The owner of the gym, Jerome, is also very welcoming and a great motivator during their boot camps if you need some guidance or assistance with a workout. Overrated is a family - they welcome you (and your kids) with open arms. Added bonus: my kid loves this place even more than I do! Jerome became my personal trainer and I'm very happy with his style and commitment in my progress. What I love about him and his gym is that he communicates very well and is always on time. He keeps upgrading the gym with new decor, plants and new equipment. I feel whatever his clients ask for he listens and makes sure we get the best. I like how responsable, and respectful he is. It's been 3 months that I started to come here again and without any diet, I'm very happy with what I have accomplished so far. Give them a try! They are very reasonable with his prices :)

The gym is open 24/7 but staff is only here from 12-6pm which is during regular working hours. The 24/7 hours are the only reason why I even looked into this gym. So it looks like I have to jump hoops & get out of work early again to be able to come back again & finally have the manager assist me with my membership. I'm paying for this gym already but unable to use it because of the access only a manager can provide. I completely understand why the staff member there today was unable to help, but at least have someone who can during the hours that are advertised to have staff on site. It's been two days in a row now of time wasted & gas wasted that no one will return just to join...

I am competing for Miss Universe Thailand this year, and my goal was to shed fat and tone up. Initial consultation was amazing, and Tony estimated that I could go from 122 lbs to 108 lbs in 3 months. That was the plan, until I found out I am moving to Thailand a lot sooner. With that being said, we took down my stats one last time this week before I have to leave for Thailand tomorrow. Starting from 2/23/22, I went from 122.8 lbs, 32.2% body fat, and 44.5 lean mass to 116.4 lbs, 23.6% bf, and 48.1 lean mass as of 4/5/22! I am so happy with my results and shocked at how quickly I am reaching my goals. Not only did my physique improve, but so did my sleep and diet. I am sleeping much more soundly, and getting more hours of sleep every night. My diet has improved immensely, and I feel a lot healthier physically and mentally overall. I worked out at Formula Fitness 2-3 times a week with Tony and Roger who are amazing trainers that care about your goals and workouts. On the other days, I did cardio on my own time. Before coming to Formula Fitness, I had not worked out in 2 years. The workouts definitely made you work but were still very doable. Tony also taught me about nutrition, and made sure I stayed on top of a well-rounded diet to reach my goals. As for the gym itself, it is very clean and organized. All of the trainers there are so friendly and helpful and make you feel at home. After having been there for a little while, it feels like you are working out with friends and family. So if you are worried about feeling intimated working out in a new gym, you will not have that problem here! Working out here has become the best part of my weekly routine, so I am really going to miss coming in person. But we will continue to train virtually while I am in Thailand, and I cant wait to see how much further I can take my results. 10/10 recommend! :)

Going to the gym is something I would do on occasion or whenever I felt like I gained too much weight. It really wasn't a lifestyle habit for me. Plus, I often felt intimidated to lift weights. I didn't want to do something wrong or worse injure myself. And after having 2 babies my body just was not the same. I needed help losing the stubborn baby weight. And with dedication, patience and a lot of hard work I am feeling stronger & energized to keep up with busy kids! I have also learned how to lift weights using proper form. If you are on the fence about personal training, just try it! Make the investment in yourself, you'll be so glad you did & wish you had started sooner.

I have never been much of a gym person or someone who works out regularly, so I knew I needed guidance and accountability to get back on track. Anthony at EOS Cerritos has been a huge part of my recovery journey. With his help, I have lost 20 pounds and regained some of my strength. He always asks how my day is going and whether there is anything specific I need him to focus on during our sessions. Anthony is very attentive and seems to notice right away when something is bothering me physically. I spend long hours working on a computer, which often leaves me with a stiff neck and limited range of motion. Through his hands-on techniques, stretching, and training approach, he has helped me improve my neck mobility and feel better overall. He has also given me helpful advice on supplements that may support my goals. Anthony is positive, encouraging, and knows how to push me while still respecting my limitations.     There are four bathroom stalls, and two of them are broken. The remaining two are poorly maintained…read moreand regularly have no toilet paper available. This was one of the main issues I mentioned in my original review, yet it continues to be a problem. With summer bringing more kids who are out of school, the gym has become even more frustrating. People are still smoking and vaping in the bathrooms, weights are constantly left out instead of being returned, and equipment is regularly left dirty because members don't wipe it down after use. Management responded to my original review saying they were committed to addressing these concerns and improving the environment for members. Five months later, I have seen no meaningful improvement. The same problems remain, and in several ways, the gym has gotten worse. I have included photos documenting the condition of the bathrooms, including photos of the same toilet taken two hours apart showing that the issue remained unaddressed. This is not an isolated incident--it reflects the ongoing lack of restroom checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance at this location. At this point, the lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and enforcement of basic gym rules reflects poorly on the management of this location. A response promising improvement means very little when months pass and the same conditions continue.

It was: Tony's quick text and warm, authentic conversation that made me feel comfortable enough to show up for my first appointment with CJ; CJ's care, humor, and no-frills approach that got me to sign up; Chris' kindness, patience, attentiveness, empathy, and expertise that keeps me going. But ultimately, it's the culture of this gym that truly makes Formula Fitness special; kind, welcoming, and inclusive, supportive and encouraging. When I started in January 2026, I wanted to improve my health, get stronger, and lose weight. What I've gained has been so much more. Being in my 40s, I've learned I can no longer approach fitness the way I did in my 20s. What worked years ago no longer serves the person I've grown into today, and Formula Fitness has helped tailor my fitness journey in a way that feels healthy, sustainable, safe, and realistic for this stage of life. Working with Coach Chris has completely changed how I think about fitness and nutrition. No quick fixes or pushing my body recklessly, but rather a focused approach to build up my strength, understanding how my body works, and creating habits I know I can sustain long term. I appreciate that my sessions focus on how I train safely helping me achieve beyond where I think I am at, but also ending with recovery. Today is now June 2026 and I've lost body fat, gained muscle, improved my overall health, and completely changed my relationship while taking care of myself. Being down 30 pounds in six months has simply been the cherry on top. The real transformation has been gaining energy, building healthier habits, understanding food and my body on a deeper level, and learning to care for myself.
