The cafe is nice, but the drinks are pricey. $8 for a smoothie? Maybe not. The equipment seems clean, up to date and there is a lot of it. Classes on the second floor, equipment on the third. Showers are nice, water is a little all over the place with the temperature. But good pressure. I wanted a place with good showers and free coffee. Hey, it is the only thing that motivates me to go. Didn't quite get that, but overall I am pleased. Month to month too - I love that. Don't notice the lines at the showers or in the parking lot because I go at 5 am.

I enjoyed working with Hillary, who was very attentive and gave me some very helpful feedback on my form, even though I was a drop-in client. The workout included a more intensive metcon than I'm used to, but it was fun! The other people in the class were friendly and welcomed me immediately, which I think is always a sign of a great gym culture.

The owner, Alex, and the members were so friendly and made us feel right at home. They gave us a tour and explained everything they offer, from kids' classes to adults'. My son had the chance to try the open mat class, and he loved every second of it! We met several of the trainers, and each one was approachable and answered all of his questions with ease. This place treats you more like family than just another gym member, which made the experience that much more special. The best part? The first visit to ROOTS COMBAT CLUB was FREE! However, often times I will find that the bathrooms or showers are dirty. This was usually a problem when I used to go at night but I also noticed it in the morning once. I love that the steam room is very clean and that they close it to clean it. The pools are really clean too. I dislike that instead of opening the door sometimes the valet guys will just stand there talking with one another. I get it they're young but the least they could do is acknowledge you and attempt to open the door. Sometimes the front desk people say goodbye, other times they don't. Overall, the workers are really kind and the people here are really kind. I also don't like how crowded it gets around 5-7pm. I try to avoid that time. I wish they had made the gym multiple floors when they opened it. I feel as though they'll probably have to expand it in the future or open another one. The reason I love coming to this gym is because of the great classes they offer. The app is very helpful and shows classes throughout the day. Linda is an amazing yoga instructor.
