I'm so glad I have discovered Body By Design! I went here for my first botox injections and the injector, Zach, was so thoughtful, professional and welcoming. He answered all my questions and explained everything wonderfully to me! The injections were easy and the downtime was minimal. I have since went back for other services as well! this place has gone to hell. 1) injected my lips with a product that I NEVER use and that is on NONE of my charts which resulted in terrible lumps but their answer to that was to try to charge me more money for the NORMAL filler that I use lol that will never happen 2) now they charge per procedure verses the price of a filler unit which means if you use 1/2 a unit on your lips and the other half unit in your cheeks it is not $650 for the unit you now pay $1000 or more ummm that will never happen and if anyone pays for that than you have more money than sense anyway I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere good luck read more

I've continued to come back to Body by Design because I just absolutely love the staff and my results are always amazing. I had my first facial ever in December (Hydroglow) and my skin felt so clean! After a few days I noticed how even my skin tone was and how it glowed! I've also hd more lip filler done today by Zach and he did such an AMAZING job fixing my uneven lip that has bugged me all of my life. Thanks again Body by Design team!! read more

Not pleased at all with the service I received. Charleston has a lot of places to go to for Injectables, skincare, etc. and I cannot recommend this one. I paid for 24 units of Botox and 4 weeks later still have all the forehead wrinkles I came in with. The people are friendly, but I would not go back here for any services. I feel a refund was in order for the poor quality of service. I left several voicemails with the office to schedule/reschedule appts and no one ever called back. read more

Very disappointed with body by design went there for my first time and spent $350 on Botox for around my eyes and forehead area they told me 2 weeks you would see the change after 2 weeks I never had any tightening and there was no change in the wrinkles I went back to body by design to show them and they did not even care told me I need facial treatments done for $1500 I asked why they would not tell me that In the beginning when I went for my first visit they just wanted my money can't believe they could not even give me a refund I do not recommend this place to anybody read more

I went here for fillers they told me to just buy trough them and not through Groupon so did 399 the girl in the front her name is Olivia spoke to me and told me I will pay same exact price as Groupon, didn't even had a proper consultation I asked before she even started the price again she told me she didn't know when I went to check out they told me it was 600 I was like wait you told me a price why is more she say oh because you got the expensive one I said how come I wasn't told what I was getting ? Matter of fact why you Put me something else because I came here for what's on Groupon anyway I am not happy with what I got because it didn't do anything didn't see any difference I made a appointment to go back and see if I could get a refund or what could they do. My appointment was a 9:00 am she wasn't there so I spoke to a guy everything was fine he even say he understands he told she was supposed to be there in 45 minutes I went to my house then I went back because I wanted her to work with me because she was the first person that spoke to me prior to everything and even told me when I should of put the fillers. I am now back speaking to her she didn't even try to Listen to me or anything she took a picture of me with a professional camera and a magnifying lamp I even ask why was she taking a picture she say she wanted to compare I said your taking picture with professional camera and that lamp. Of course there will be different because these thing makes everything look better!!! She told me she will email the picture in 15 minutes it was already 25 minutes I didn't receive the pictures she call me and told me again she will email the picture didn't get the email she say oh matter of fact you owe me 225 but I'll waive the fee for you. I said noooo you guys have a Groupon price that what I came in for you guys did something else and didn't even told me why wasn't I told I wasn't getting the Groupon deal? Why I wasn't told that I am getting something different than what you guys have on the Groupon ? That is so wrong! Anyway she hang up on me so I went there to try to get a refund because at this point she was being so mean to me for no reason. She asked me to leave her property. I was like wait what? Why you asking me to leave the property what am doing? She say oh let's talk outside why you wanna talk outside it's hot!!! Why am not being treated like a customer and handle everything properly inside the office? So I said okay I won't leave all I want is my refund a this point she say okay I'm calling 911 why you guys calling 911? Because I'm here for a refund ? This is so wrong her husband even came outside then Yelled at me asking me to leave or he's calling the police I said okay I will leave once I get my money back. He even open the doors and went outside to do what I don't knw come back and move the chair and HIT ME in my foot.. called the police on me the police came so since she say she was going to write me a check I was waiting outside with the police she told the police she wasn't going to do it. I have everything on the video I wish I could upload!!! To bad isn't worth for me to go to court because the amount... do not go to this place is a scam!!!! Just did the body contouring with the Velashape which is like a newer version of cool sculpting and it blew my mind I saw immediate results and I'm really really satisfied with what I got I will definitely be back I also tried an LED facial for the first time which was really cool I felt like my skin looks better than it ever has before !! I had a filler service today. I had booked some weeks back and was told i could have the special price they were offering via Groupon, which i very much appreciated. I had an $80 credit from a previous visit so was not worried about the deal as had all been discussed and agreed prior to my visit. The service went well, although i am lumpy under eyes at moment but hoping that will settle down. When i came to check out the receptionist whom, I now realize is the owner, was not happy with the pricing went to great lengths to make sure i knew that, tutting and telling me this service is costing them! She made snippy comments about the person who had agreed pricing and said she wasn't supposed to do that etc etc. i was made to feel really uncomfortable and awkward and felt very disappointed by the treatment on checkout. I would like to have gone back for future services paying full price but her attitude and service today has negated that now. There are plenty of other spas offering much better customer service and surrounds. read more

So far, so great! I just completed my second of three treatments of VelaShape to the front of my thighs and am seeing changes take place already! I am a mom of 3 with loose skin on my abdomen around my belly button. I did VelaShape at Body By Design Charleston, and after only 1 treatment the loose skin was greatly improved. I can't imagine how amazing it would be after 3 treatments!!!! I am not a huge fan of sit ups or crunches, so this is perfect...and way easier!
