Julie is a gifted reflexologist. I have chronic pain and during the first session I felt more…read morerelaxed than I had in a long time. Afterwards I felt relief from pain and felt like a new person the next day. I have had another appointment since and can't wait to go back again. She has a kind and calm demeanor, a lot of knowledge, and a wonderful healing touch.

This was my first reflexology experience so I really wasn't sure what to expect. I was expecting a…read moregood foot massage, but admittedly did not believe that there could be any significant connection between a spot on my foot and some other part of my body. I'm now second guessing that assumption - when Julie was doing her thing, about half way thru I decided to start asking her what these connections were. She started explaining them and telling me which ones she found as being tense, the ones she was focusing on, and as she told me about the one that was linked to my intestines, I suddenly realized that my cramps were gone. I really couldn't believe it. The one downside was that the day following my appt I had some serious fatigue and other issues, which Julie explained to me could have been due to the session. Apparently sometimes you have a day where you feel worse before you feel better. I plan on scheduling another session and looking forward to experiencing the way things play out during round 2

My dog's Vet is around the corner so I dropped him for his echo-cardiogram and came in to try this…read moreplace out and was happily surprised. I've always found foot massages to be relaxing and soothing (first one was painful; more later) so this was no different. The reason I am giving Aroma Spa 5 stars is because the foot massage was very good but not the best I've ever received. It gets high marks because for 30% of what I've paid for a reflexologist, I got 80% of quality from a licensed one. Plus, Aroma used hot stones towards the end which other places did not and it felt great. The best was my first a reflexologist I stumbled up in London at a salon within a mall. It was painful; like she was stripping my skin of the bone but at the end, it felt like I was walking on pillows. I felt so light on my feet. I've never experienced anything close to again and wish I could. It could be because it was first time and she loosened all the knots and tight foot muscles. Anyway, I'm looking forward to trying their regular body massage in the future when I'm back for next Vet visit. Don't forget to tip the masseuses as I'm sure their compensation is mainly or possibly solely customer tips!

0/10. I would not recommend this establishment…read more I came in for a full-body massage and left extremely disappointed. From the moment I walked in, I wasn't even greeted with a hello. The first thing I was asked was, "Do you have an appointment?" No one asked what service I was looking for or made me feel welcomed. The massage itself was also disappointing. He mainly massaged my back, and his hands were very rough. For my legs, he put a towel over them and lightly massaged over/around them. For what was supposed to be a full-body massage, I honestly felt like I paid $45 for almost nothing. On top of that, a woman was talking nearby during my massage, which made it difficult to relax. The worst part was at checkout. I initially planned to leave a tip, but after thinking about the quality of the service, I reduced the amount. The woman looked at what I gave her and said, "That's all?" She then pointed to a sign saying the tip was supposed to be 20%. I explained that their own sign says tips are appreciated. A tip is optional and based on the service received I had already paid the full price for my service. Customers should never be pressured or shamed into leaving a certain percentage, especially after receiving a disappointing service. Between the poor customer service, lackluster massage, noisy environment, and uncomfortable interaction over the tip, I will not be returning.
