Now coming from someone who was a Massage Therapist back in the day....Mandy was simply amazing. She listened to my detailed areas of concern and she literally hit every spot. This was my first time at Harmony Massage and Wellness and it definitely won't be my last. The spa is very nice and very clean. It smells nice. There is a nice ambience. I went for a TMJ and neck massage with Mandy and it was outstanding! She is very knowledgeable about TMJ. She even gives suggestions on things you can do at home to help alleviate some of your symptoms. She has a very calming presence about her. I highly recommend giving them a try. My boyfriend gave me a Groupon as a gift and it was a really easy process to book an appointment. (You can't do it online with vouchers etc) so I called and left a voicemail. (I assume, if you get to the voicemail system they're busy with a treatment in process) Easily, I left one, got a call back an hour later and booked the appointment. The only thing is the parking, it's the same lot as a condo-like place so I was a little scared of being towed. But that wasn't an issue. This was the first time I had ever gotten a massage and I had Michaila. She asked which areas to focus on and I could really feel the knots in my back go away. This review is for massages only. My husband got me a Groupon for my b-day. Actually he purchased 2, but he didn't realize you're only allowed to use 1 per person, so we used the other for him. We booked at the same time. It's located in the front of what is a residential building. Inside it looks neat and clean and relaxing. It has a space for pedicures and manicures. My husband had Scarlett and I had Freddy. That was the Best massage I ever had. He concentrated on all of the knots I had. He made me feel very comfortable. My husband was thoroughly satisfied with his massage as well. We were so happy with the service we booked our next massage at a discounted price. Really accommodating and pleasant! My boyfriend purchased groupons and we went for a day date on a Friday afternoon. There was stand-still accident traffic on our way, and we called the business to let them know we would be late, and they had no problem with our 15 minute late arrival. (: Very cute and relaxing atmosphere. Much different from the larger salons with the large electronic pedicure chairs; here they use basins which they carry over to your comfy chair. I feel this is a lot cleaner than the larger chairs, and very eco-friendly which I loved. The manicurists keep you relaxed, or if you're up for conversation they can swing that too. The owner makes her own all-natural sugar body scrubs, which was a very reasonable price for a great product. Manicures and pedicures came out flawless! Highly recommend! read more

Too many negatives I wouldn't know where to start... so I'll give you the highlights. The employees were very sweet and friendly. I don't want to bash them because they're mainly innocent here... however, I was basically scammed to pay way above the new client price. I purchased a couples massage and was lied to upon ordering. The price on the website was $45 PP for new clients and I was charged way above that. After speaking with the owner, she blatantly ignored their mistakes and changed the website rates right after I mentioned it!!! It's extremely wrong to have to defend myself as a paying customer and be told I never told anyone we were new clients. I wish I recorded the conversation I had with the person who booked my appointment as new customer was mentioned multiple times. Also, they knew we were new customers so I am not sure why the therapists didn't catch the price mistake. Good thing I took a screen shot of the original price list. One of the therapists was talking to my fiancé the majority of the time asking about his scars, marks on his body (from his pump for T1 diabetes) and health conditions - you expect a therapist to ask if pressure and comfort is good but not ask multiple personal questions about health conditions. Then, she started doing some chiropractic maneuvers and lifting his legs in the air, and said "Oh good thing your wearing underwear", and he asked her to stop. That finally ruined it for us. The other woman was sweet but she focused only on my upper back and neck but did nothing for the rest of my body which I made clear I was comfortable with my entire body being massaged (as a normal therapist would understand). Bottom line.... I spoke with the owner and informed all of the details of our experience and of the pricing error. I was left with excuses. Not everyone will mesh with therapists and the way they work but what really got me was the lack of professionalism during the massage, and complete disregard for an obvious screw up on the companies part that made me spend a lot more than I should have!! Her reaction clearly proved they don't care about scamming people, customer satisfaction, and it's obviously a very unprofessional establishment. My boyfriend and I came in for massages together. He was placed with Dionna who was wonderful. I on the other hand had David as a massage therapist. I was beyond upset after my massage. The worst massage I have ever had, and this is coming from a woman who grew up with a mother who is a massage therapist. I told him I had lower back pain and his method of massage was using a pressure point without even massage! Additionally, there was a very strange pinching of my front neck that was beyond uncomfortable. The massage technique was very quick strides rubbing so fast there was heat created. In the end, I left in more pain than when I arrived. Really terrible experience that left me in tears. I would not recommend seeing David. read more

I had a Groupon for a 1 hour massage and decided to redeem it on my birthday. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. It is a small spa with simple but inviting decor. I had a good massage. I enjoy a massage with lots of pressure and my massage therapist was able to oblige. I dozed off a few times and was awoken by my own snoring. Slight embarrassment aside, I had a very good massage. The only thing that I did not like was the music in the room. It was too loud and severely lacking in pan flute so I asked for it to be turned off. read more

Horrifying !!!! Takes 5 days to get a call back, then the person on the phone pretends to not understand a word, i ask for very late afternoon early evening, and am asked if i want to come at 12? I repeat very late afternoon early evening, as in after work, she asks so would 12:30 work? later when I spoke with the unbelievably rude and uptight owner I was told the girl on the phone was playing dumb because the owner wanted to fire her. So....you want to fire someone that messed up my massage, and instead of listening to the whole story you, as an owner, keep interrupting me, and not letting me squeeze a word, and not trying in anyway to resolve the situation? And you call this place harmony????? Definitely need for some internal harmony for a massage place, who wants to have that extremely negative energy when they come to relax with a massage read more

I should start by saying that my massage was good. The therapist was attentive and I enjoyed the massage. The customer service, however, was terrible. It ruined the whole experience. I booked online for an appointment at a specific time that worked for me after getting out of work. I was called the day before and asked if I could switch my time to a half hour earlier or later because that would maximize the amount of clients the therapist could see. Really? Why let me book a time online then? It had been awhile since I booked it and you call the day before? I couldn't go half an hour earlier because of work, and a half hour later left me with too much time to sit and wait for my appointment. I said I really preferred the time I chose. I was told that it was really inconvenient for the therapist because now he can't see an extra client in their day since my appointment set the times too far apart. She then said "I'll let you keep the time for now but if someone tries to book an hour before or after I am cancelling your appointment." I said fine but what I really should have done was cancelled myself and gone elsewhere. For the next 24 hours I waited for the call that I was cancelled. Not very professional. When I told the therapist this, the therapist actually apologized for what happened and said my appointment time was perfectly fine. The person on the phone was NOT the therapist, btw. I won't go back here if they think they can treat customers like they are an inconvenience. read more

Okay I won't say the massage was bad but it wasn't amazing which is normally how I feel after getting a massage. I made the appointment with Lauren who wasn't friendly but she wasn't rude either. The place could use a little dusting and the plants needed watering but it wasn't run down or nasty. My only real complaint was the parking situation. It very random because it's part of a building complex so I was continuously worried I would be towed. I personally wouldn't go back not because it's a horrible place but because I've had better. I received a Groupon for this place so I went . When I got there half the building was burned down and gave off very skeptical vibes but I went with it. When I walked in a man greeted me and took me to my room where he spoke to me and asked me questions for over 15 minutes cutting into my massage time. When the massage began he was very focused on my pressure points which was strange and hardly focused on the areas I had mentioned previously. He massaged my arm pits and was pushing up into them very firmly and I am now left even more sore and with bruised arm pits, which I have never experienced from a massage business before. I booked a full body massage but this felt more like a stretch which is not what I wanted, and the techniques used as mentioned were so strange. I thought maybe it was a style of theirs but the entire massage was very strange and gave me strange vibes and not much of a relaxing massage. read more

Got a Thai massage with Stephanie today and it was AMAZING! She is an excellent massage therapist to begin with and I highly reccomend her and Harmony overall. But since the Thai massage is a new service and I had never had one before I felt it warranted a review. The best way that I can describe it is a combination of assisted stretching, massage, and a chiropractic adjustment all in one. She had me lay on the floor and because she's using her whole body she was able to stretch my muscles while simultaneously massaging. This was fantastic for the very tight and sore muscles I develop at the gym, especially lower back and hamstring. I booked another before I even left. Harmony Massage is poorly run. I scheduled a couples massage online for my boyfriend and I. Not only did I get two confirmation emails for the couples massage but I also called to confirm just to be safe. The day of our massage I got an email a few hours before our massage confirming an appointment but not for a couples massage, now only a single. I called to see what happened and was talking with the owner who could do absolutely nothing besides reschedule since she was leaving at the time of our original appointment and would only have one therapist. I had purchased a groupon for a one hour full body massage. It said in the fine print to call them directly to schedule the appt, it could not be scheduled through their online booking system. So I called... no one picked up, it went to a voicemail stating that they were having a high volume of calls. So I called a little while after...still no answer. It took me 4 TIMES to finally get through to someone. The receptionist who picked up was COMPLETELY rude. (I pick up on peoples energy and right away I could tell she was stressed and annoyed) She asked me how I heard about the place and I said groupon...I began to say I am calling to schedule b/c it says in the fine print says I cannot schedule through their online booking system. She proceeded to speak to me with attitude. I said what do you have available and she said please give me a time and day and I can see what I have. Every day I had mentioned to her, she answered with "nope". I began to tell her what pain I was feeling and that I wanted to see someone who specializes in deep tissue, she had no interest in what I was saying and began to say mam you can discuss all your issues to the therapist. I then told her I didn't understand where her attitude was coming from, she said very snooty "Mam I'm trying to speed up the process right now I have a line in here". She was rushing me off the phone and I said to her, you seem very frustrated and bothered. I will call back and will be speaking to your manager. FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE EVERYTHING. I will never ever be giving them any type of service and will be sure to spread the news of how horrible the customer service was at this place. I don't care if the massage therapist are great, the first impression is everything and customer service is NUMBER ONE when you are dealing with these types of services. Unprofessional and very rude! I bought a Groupon to have a massage before I left for vacation. I called to make the appointment before buying the Groupon to make sure they had an appointment available. My first disappointment was how rude the receptionist. She wanted me to pay more money for their first time client deal instead of the Groupon and I said I would be using the cheap method. Though, I still decided to book it because they had the date and time I was looking for. I made the appointment a month in advance and paid for the Groupon. 3 days before the massage appointment, I received a call stating "we're just catching this appointment now and didn't realize it was there" and then the proceeded to cancel my appointment because the person I made an appointment with is on vacation. When I called back, she stated that they just hired a new person and she changed the schedule and didn't realize there was an appointment made. Due to me vacation plans, I was not able to reschedule and will be seeking my money back through Groupon.
