I have seen all of the therapists at some point. They all hold advanced degrees in the field and really know what they are doing. They are constantly evaluating your needs. There are two exercise specialist who guide you through the exercises your therapist recommends for an hour. I had a hip replacement and 7 months later a knee replacement . That's a lot of PT and I did really well . A particular shout out to therapist Danielle, who always had faith in me and guided me through the process.

I believe the Jackson Clinic is the best physical therapy office in Leesburg. I have tried 3…read moredifferent PT offices in Leesburg, and this beats them all. I heard about this place from my in-home therapist following my total knee replacement surgery. The front office staff is friendly, accommodating, and remembers your name as soon as you walk in the door. The physical therapists: Allison, Rachel, & Stephanie are all very skilled, always running on time, and ask all the right questions. The specialists: Barrett & Addy are friendly and know their stuff. Every appointment starts with 30 minutes 1-on-1 with the PT where they ask relevant questions, take measurements, and give a hands-on massage of the trouble area. Then you move to a full hour with the specialist. They take you through all the exercises recommended by the therapist. The final 10 minutes is for ice. They use the MedBridge GO app that runs on your phone. They can download your individual exercises right to the app. The app then shows you a video of the exercise, in case you forgot, and reminds you how many times a day, sets, and reps for each one. You mark them complete as you finish them. If you only have an hour for PT, this might not be the place for you, but if time is not an issue, you will get the biggest bang for your buck here. You will not feel rushed, but you are busy the entire time. Highly recommend!

Mass production money making operation where you are the product masked as a care facility…read more why: Reception - inept and rude, mostly ignore you and don't even look away from behind the counter. Ask about anything other than scheduling and they just don't know. Care - apart from an initial "assessment" appointment you never get a dedicated PT - appointments are double booked, so you share your PT with another patient. Billing though is of course for a full rate. Privacy? What privacy? - If you like to hear instructions of clenching (yes, that), chatter about husbands/dogs/other trivia by strangers this is the place for you. Beds are spaced 3 ft apart to the point you have to be careful not to hit the PT standing next to the other patient next to you while sitting on the bed. Billing - fitting the type of businessI describe - under many different names. Very hard to reach, rude, and prone to errors - pretty much as expected. Why did I pick and stay ? located just by the orthopedic I visited, and very close to home. Never finished the complete schedule. Did better at home! With so many PT facilities around better look somewhere else for quality, service, and care.

Neither of those things bothered me. I was there to improve my balance and gait, and strengthen one leg and foot that had surgery a few years back. I was able to accomplish all of that in the six weeks I attended my sessions, and was given multiple different exercises to continue on my own when my time was up. The PTs and PTAs were very knowledgeable and professional. They provided me the help I needed to walk better and gain overall strength in my leg.

While I might be on the younger side (34, runner) I was struggling with long term sciatic symptoms as well as lower back and hamstring pain. When my injury self-management was no longer working I was referred to Loudoun PT. I can genuinely say the people that I worked with cared about me as both a patient and person. Matt Smith and Chelsea Lucas listened to my concerns and created an exercise progression that helped me improve. I went from being borderline unable to work because of back pain, to running twice a week in the space of twelve weeks. It's incredible what compassionate and knowledgable physical therapists and a committed patient can accomplish when they work together. While my full recovery will necessitate more independent work, I feel like Matt and Chelsea have set me up to meet my health and lifestyle goals with a home program. I do believe that PT can work for most people if they are willing to commit to it. It is a far better option than surgery or simply accepting chronic pain. I know that the good people at Loudoun PT will be there for me if I experience any major setbacks. Getting to see their staff work with other patients was often very heartwarming. They advocate for the people in their care and for that I am very thankful. Five stars, would PT at Loudoun PT again, if I need PT :)

I started with Tompkins PT in 2002 after breaking my ankle. 4 months later I was skiing at Banff. In 2009 I damaged my knee. After surgery by Dr Richard Steadman in Vail and 7 days of PT in Vail, I returned to Tompkins PT with a very detailed protocol for rehab. After 30 days, I saw Dr. Steadman who pronounced that Tompkins PT had followed his instructions to the letter and that my knee was healing well. I was riding and skiing that year. My passions keep me returning for more from Tompkins PT. I love the staff, Dr. Tompkins is brilliant. We do a lot of laughing as they push me to work and build and rehab. I highly recommend them and would be sunk without them.
