About the location itself, I immediately was aware of how friendly and attentive all the people there seemed to be. The facility itself is attractive, full of light, and has a very positive vibe to it. About the therapy, my therapist knew more about the anatomy and movement of the knee and surrounding areas than I could imagine. He performed a series of massages, movements, exercises, and other treatments explaining at each step what it was meant to accomplish. He was very clear about how to approach the rehab process and answered every question I had. He also laid out a carefully thought out home exercise program that I followed fully. At Ortho, I spent about 30 minutes with one on one with my therapist and then 30 minutes with a Personal Assistant guiding me through the exercises. Some days the pain was pretty intense. My doctor referred me for a MRI, but until then suggested I begin physical therapy. I was referred to Chantilly Physical Therapy by Tricare. Every person I've encountered here has been kind and helpful. The therapists I have worked with have been wonderful. They really took the time to listen to my concerns and goals for recovery. They showed me exercises and stretches that specifically helped my situation. In just a few sessions, I had a marked improvement in what I was able to do and now after 15 sessions, I am feeling like myself again. So, I saw Rachel for therapy to see what could be done to fix it. She helped a lot with massage, then proper stretching, and now exercising. She analyzed how I moved and spotted where I was having a problem, then made great suggestions on what to do going forward. What was important to me was not just fixing the immediate problem but also working on prevention, she spotted some corrective things I should be doing too. I'll admit I am not a "good" patient in terms of following the new routine but I gotta say when I do things are LOTS better. I am impressed, I'll be back!

I work in fitness as a profession and have a lot at stake with my physical abilities. So, you can…read moreimagine my dismay when I began developing serious knee pain that prevented me from even walking my dog without pain. I've gone to SIX different doctors over the course of two years (3 PTs, one podiatrist, one chiropractor, one orthopedist). I had an MRI done and received knee injections. When that didn't work, I was told maybe I should just quit doing high impact. I was told that my lack of progress was due to MY lack of following the PT exercises. Andre will take the cases that are "untreatable" by traditional doctors. His treatment was unorthodox and no two appointments were the same. Though my knee received the brute forces, he treated everything from my calf, quad, hip flexors, glutes, hamstrings, back, and neck. He did mostly dry needling and and manual therapy. After about 10 treatments, I stand now pain-free and able to do all of my fitness work. After the first appointment, I felt better. After the second appointment, he made my knee pain go away and I broke down into tears. For years, I was told by doctors that my pain is my fault. Andre believes that his clients should never give up the activities they enjoy, and it is his mission to treat pain, and he never placed blame on me. He does not participate in insurance, but after calculating my expenses with the other PTs, his treatment is actually CHEAPER in the long run because he actually solves the problem in a shorter amount of time. He saved my career. If you are a person who has been shamed by other doctors into believing that you are the broken one, go to Andre and he will build you back up.

I was diagnosed with both femoral nerve pain and sciatic nerve pain and both legs were involved. I went to two other PT offices one for six weeks and the second one for six months. I thought I was done with Physical Therapists. I agreed to have the steroid injections in my back at a spine center and still had relentless pain. It was ridiculous!! I was up to a dozen Advil a day just to endure my daily activities. My daughter actually recommended Dr Andre to me as one of her friends who was active in collegiate sports swore by him. I was extremely hesitant.... why try a THIRD Physical Therapist? Well, after only three visits I was almost completely healed!! Fast forward to today... six months later. I have been suffering with severe back pain for the last two weeks. My back has been so stiff, I couldn't bend down or touch my feet without excruciating pain.
