We went at 9:45pm on Sunday night and the front desk was empty. It's a 24 hour gym so that should never happen. For whatever freaking reason the front doors were locked. She tried using her card to open it probably 30 times but it didn't work. It didn't even give an error....the scanner just isn't real lol so there's no way to get in. We tried knocking on the door but it's blacked out so no one could see us. I then tried calling the front desk multiple times but it went straight to voicemail. It looks cheap and the service shows it. There was a car outside with two other who also told us they had been trying to get in as early as 9:15 but they couldn't either.

I visited this gym on a weekday morning to take a cycling class. It is a big gym with lots of…read moreequipment and a huge parking lot. Staff seems to be friendly but since I don't work out at this location on a regular basis I can't comment on that. The cycling room is big and I liked the fact that that each row of bikes is in a different level (similar to a theater) which allows whoever is sitting towards the back to have a better view of the instructor. My complaint is that the cycling instructor wasn't very good with 0 enthusiasm. There were no hills, sprints and other standard spinning activities. All the instructor kept a saying was "add 2 gears, remove 2 gears, stand up, sit down". Just multiply this by 20 and that was basically the whole class. My membership allows me to access all LA Fitness locations in NJ and I've been to at least 5 of them to take spinning classes and this was definitely the worst class.

Tons of cardio options so you're not waiting around for a treadmill or the stairmaster. Also have been noticing the crowd here is becoming more diverse and there aren't a lot of intimidating crowds. With Machines and equipment as far as the eye can see, there is something for everyone! When you walk in, it instantly feels like you are transported into a Rocky or Creed movie with the energy S&S brings. It is so easy to lock in and focus on your workout because you are surrounded by so many like minded people who are there to do the exact same thing. It seems like we all have one goal in mind and that is to be the best and strongest version of ourselves. The staff is super friendly, the members are always willing to lend you a hand racking weights or correcting your form without feeling like you're an idiot for doing it incorrectly in the first place haha, and the owners are so nice and knowledgeable - you can tell they really care about this space and it's members. They are constantly updating and adding new machines, while keeping the spark of good old fashioned American muscle. There are shakes, energy drinks and meals for purchase. They also offer spin classes and a variety of other classes. There is a tanning booth & hydro massage bed. They offer different monthly packages - I have the one that allows me unlimited classes & 50% off shakes. I wish they had more classes & times available. That is the only reason to knock off a star from my rating. Overall, love this gym. It's always clean. Equipment is always working and in its place. Definitely recommend.

Apparently "Coach Franco" likes to ridicule people who have lost a significant amount of weight through hard work and exercise by saying they look like "cottage cheese." He thinks this is acceptable because "some people need to hear the truth." Any coach worth anything knows that people don't train harder and improve because they're insulted and belittled, they thrive when they're supported and cheered on. Shame on "Coach Franco."
