I spoke with Brianna today in person while my trunk and back bumper were being looked at, about the technical aspects of my repairs and the calibration process, and she took the time to explain everything to me. I learned that Expert Glass & Calibration needed to drive the vehicle at approximately 60 mph to properly calibrate certain sensors, which I was not aware of at the time. I also have a better understanding of how GEICO's repair-order requirements affected when certain suspension issues could be documented and addressed. Knowing this has given me a much better perspective on the repair timeline and process. (This was my first time having a car accident and going through this process.) While I did have some frustrating interactions with Seth regarding technicalities, communication and the cleanliness of my vehicle, after observing how busy this shop is- I understand how sometimes they can't always call a customer back and I wanted to be involved in all steps of the repair process. There was a misunderstanding regarding a comment about whether my vehicle had a tracker, However, prior to that, Emily was helpful and responsive, and the ladies at the front desk were consistently friendly and accommodating, even while I was navigating some difficulties with my repairs. I dropped my baby off and was picked up by Enterprise Rental and they drove me to the lot where I was given a car for the week. I was really missing my car so the week dragged on. On Friday, when I went to pick it up, all that waiting paid off. Rick's straightened and buffed out the front bumper, took out the rust on the passenger side door, repainted it and cleaned off the chipping paint on the rear bumper. In additional to all of that they replaced the hood ornament, cleaned the grime off of the wheel hubs and gave it an overall detailing. The results are nothing less than stunning. What an amazingly professional job they did. I don't think the car looked this good when I bought it. You can't go wrong with Rick's Auto Body. Their attention to detail is meticulous and their customer service is exemplary. You can tell by the lobby which is filled with motorcycles and the Blues Brothers statues that these guys are something beyond your typical garage.
