I feel like I should start off by apologizing for not writing this five star review years ago! But here it is and here you are reading it now: Truly, massage therapy doesnt get any better than here at BMT. You could easily go somewhere else and pay a lot more but you wouldn't get a better massage. The entire place has an uplifting vibe and the therapists are seriously gifted. Massage therapy is their calling! Deb is fantastic. She is strong and purposeful: she finds tension in places I didn't know were the least bit tight. I feel delightfully disoriented after my sessions with Deb, like, just let me sit here in the lobby and get my brain back in order. Lol! Jerry is an amazing experience! On the table, with the Bemer for pain; hot towels; hot stones... and, If you've never tried shiatsu on the floor mat -- or even if you think you have -- Jerry's shiatsu is like massage infused with meditation, stretch, breath, mind/body connection... I can't describe it, you just have to try it. So now, your biggest problem is who to book your massage with... you can't go wrong! Just call and they'll help you figure it out! I am no stranger to massage and bodywork, my mom is a massage therapist. That being said, my standards are high and I know what I want when it comes to a therapeutic massage. Well let me tell you, Jerry is a gem. He has over 30 years of experience and it shows. Healing is his craft. He is very in tune with the human body and is trained in many modalities, not just traditional deep tissue and sweedish. He took the time to get to know me beforehand and really heard my concerns and what I was looking for in my massage. The 90 minutes was pure heaven. I cannot recommend this place enough! if you lift and need a sports massage to really get rid of knots and even adjust things that are slightly out of place ask for Jordan. He really cares about getting you back into correct alignment and even gives you tips to make sure you aren't hurting yourself lifting. I have been a member of BTM for many months. The charge at the time was a monthly charge of $60 charged on the 1st of the month. The membership form had a spot for an email address which I left blank. I did not need any more junk mail. The quality of service and ease of making an appointment has declined since then. Every month I would receive a massage at BTM. Every time I checked out at the front desk, I was told what the charge was for the service. There was never any mention that I had a prepayment already on my account. I would then tell the receptionist about my prepayment on my account. As COVID progressed, BTM lossed many massage therapists. This made making an appointment challenging for my wife and myself to go at the same time. The quality of the massages also declined but I was willing to wait until new therapists were hired. On September 1st, my credit card was charged $67.50. I called the same day and spoke to the co-owner (Theresa). I told her I did not receive notification of a price increase and I should not be charged. She stated it was sent via email and since I did not give an email address, I was not sent one. I was given a credit of $7.50. I cancelled my membership and I was told I had until the end of the month to use my prepayment. On September 25th, I received a massage at BTM. I later found out that day that I was charged an additional $7.50. This was never mentioned when I checked out. I spoke with Theresa on September 27thabout this and her reaction and attitude reminded me of Amy from Amy's Baking Company from Kitchen Nightmares. I told her I felt I should not be charged $7.50 since I never received the email, there is no posting of this at the front desk nor is there a posting of another price increase of $7.50 on January 1st. Both Lavida Massage and Hand ad & Stone Massage post a price increase letter at the reception desk when they raise their prices. She immediately starting talking loud and over me telling me that I agreed to pay the higher price by receiving a massage, I refused to give my email address, prices have gone up for everyone, etc...later she admitted the price increase was due to the difficulty of finding additional staff. She stated that I could have used the $60 towards items that they sell instead of paying more for a massage. They only have 2 or 3 therapists and one is the owner. She asked me why I was making a big deal over $7.50, I asked her the same thing. After at least 10 minutes of her talking loudly and over me, she said she would have to talk to the owner about giving me a credit. Later that day, she emailed me and said I would receive a credit. It has been a week and I have not received a credit. There have been many excuses via email why I have not received this credit. Please take your business elsewhere and save yourself a headache. read more

I am a big believer in massage and the therapeutic benefits of it and have been getting regular massage for years. Just moved back from Arizona, where I found a fabulous massage therapist, so she was the One I would always go to. I was worried about finding another "One" here and tried several. I discovered BTM through a friend and started getting massages wanting to try all of their available therapists - all were great! However, when I found Marge at BTM, I knew I had found the 'One'. She inherently knows how to massage and does what is needed as opposed to just doing the standard. She moves slow and spends time. I do 90 min massages and I feel incredible after a massage from Marge. She is experienced, kind and friendly. Also, the room is Perfect, all the senses are tended to, low light, smells, quiet, comfortable heated table, etc. She talks with you before hand and follows up after about the massage. Claudia, suzanna, Sharon, and Jerry are by far the best therapists I have ever encountered. They have put me into complete relaxation and possess the best customer service skills out of any other spa I've ever been to. For example I called late on a Saturday night and Sharon actually stayed an hour for me to get there to give me a massage at the end of her day. All four of them possess different qualities but you will not be let down. Sharon is who I see regularly. She continues to go above and beyond her duties as a therapist. I would recommend her to absolutely anyone. She not only teaches me stretches to do in between massage appointments but actually takes my pain and built up tension away. Not to mention she is a great person. She provides the ultimate healing experience. I have seen every single person here and they all are incredible. I had a massage done by Colleen and a facial done by Arianna and both services were absolutely amazing!!! Colleen is so kind and welcoming. She really helped me to relax and she worked wonders on me. I've been lifting a bit more then normal and my body was yelling for a deep tissue massage. My normal go to massage therapist was not available. I looked to yelp for guidance and found BTM. I desperately called and the very sweet woman who answered the phone was able to make me an appointment with Jerry right then. I stopped what I was doing and hustled in. The room I was in was beautiful and spacious. I believe it was set up for Shiatsu Massages. The music was excellent. The massage was wonderful. The studio itself is neat, clean, calming and professional . My therapist was Morgen who was absolutely wonderful, providing the perfect pressure and technique. Best stone massage ever. Claudia really knows how to find and release tight spots, and I left feeling relaxed and limber. Unlike other salons, she gives a true massage with the stones to reach deep tissue. I wasn't even aware I was walking around with tightness in some of these areas. Well worth the time and cost. Tip: The salon access is through a gym, with poor signage, but staff are really helpful with directions. Highly recommend. read more

I would highly recommend Body Therapy Massage. I have been to many massage therapists over the years and can tell you that these therapists are in the top echelon of their profession, The owner is highly selective with hiring his staff. I have been to 3 of the 4 therapists due to scheduling issues and each time I had somebody new, I wondered if I would be as satisfied, and I was. They are great with basic massage, but are exceptionally knowledgeable at treating any chronic issues that you may have. They also will inform you of things that you can do to prevent these issues from continually arising. I saw them for therapy a few months after neck surgery and my surgeon was very surprised at how quickly I recovered, and I feel great!
