The one on Allen Rd sucks! They have added classes 4 days a week and I am unable to use the room because of classes. I go at 5 am and they have statrted classes at that time. Not fare that I pay and unable to utilize the entire gym because of classes that they should push back a couple of hours. Will definitely change gyms read more

My friend and I came in today to check out the facility. Jeremy, and xesus were so friendly and helpful. The daycare workers were equally as friendly. The gym was immaculate and the daycare was everything I would want for my child. I wish this was closer to my house, I would go here all the time! read more

Previous reviews seem to be critical, but it's possible the management took those critiques into consideration and have certainly made my experience here very enjoyable. Jeremy is very friendly and accommodating, and I appreciate that he often greets clients at the front desk. This is a smaller and more exclusive Body Xchange than the other locations, which I like (though others might not). The clientele is more mature, and the facilities are less crowded (even at peak hours). There is consistently strong wifi that you can use to stream or connect to TV audio via app. I frequently use the women's only section, which gives me a nice, at-home feel when I work out. The main area has standard cardio equipment, easy-to-use machines for specific muscle groups, and a section for more serious weight builders. Class instructors aren't terrible, but I've seen better at chain gyms. The group class room is nice for small groups and individual workouts when available. The locker rooms are clean with a hair dryer, lotion, and other basic amenities available for convenience. Daycare and spa services also available. read more

Tell you what, I remember when the owner "John" first started these gyms, they were clean and kept up, the one I go to on Brimhall and Calloway needs a serious update, guess that's not gonna happen since he's gonna close it down when the Allen and Brimhall store opens....man fix your sound on the TVs shit!!! read more

So disappointed! I've been a member here for a few years now and the facilities continue go down the drain. For years there have been issue with not enough weights for the classes. Dirty equipment, floors and mirrors. We have, on several occasions asked for these issues to be addressed and was told that there would not be new equipment for the classes brought in. Today was the final straw! After a class, (full of women) the stalls in the bathroom were all locked! They locked us out! The excuse was that they were out of toilet paper! When asked why, we were told that the weekend employees didn't stock them! It is Thursday! Pick up toilet paper from Costco! What are we paying for here? Come on Management(Jeremy) get on top of this! The only reason I'm still here is because of 2 very impressive weekday morning instructors. Might consider moving on over to In Shape if Body Xchange can't get it together! read more

If you're looking for an awesome personal trainer I HIGHLY recommend Matt. My first session greatly exceeded my expectations. I felt very comfortable and at ease as we talked about my goals. Dear BX, Thank you for making it blatantly clear that you do not care to cater to your female customers. Thank you for closing every single location that made it possible for a female to use your facilities without feeling like she is a steak in a meat market. You closed your ONLY women's only gym. Your olive drive express location was a great option to work out in comfort and without feeling like you were being gawked at. Then you closed it. The stockdale hwy express was the next option because at least the rooms were sectioned off and made for a tad more discretion than your giant warehouses. Then you closed it too. So thank you. Thank you for leaving me with no options to utilize your facilities without feeling like I'm being gawked at, judged, and otherwise just extremely uncomfortable. Surprisingly enough, there are actually women in this world who like to workout with things other than just free weights and medicine balls, but this is not possible in any of your facilities without feeling like you're in the middle of a frat house, which obviously is the audience you intend to cater to anyways. read more

Seriously the new bx on Allen and brimhall is the worst! The acoustics are horrible it is pointless to try and listen to your own headphones because the noise is so bad in the place you can't hear a thing. Attending the classes there is noisy as well, you cant hear the instuction being given. Too bad they closed the Spa on Brimhall and Calloway. Going from the spa to this new gym is a downer. I LOVE this gym! I did a lot of research because I wanted a gym that would be good for me and my two toddlers. My kids love going to the child care; the staff is friendly and they know my girls by name. Bruce at the front desk always welcomes me, Jeremy is super nice and has been super helpful to my family. The class schedule works great for me because I like to go mid-morning. This gym is a GREAT fit for my family. Affordable, kid-friendly, convenient. read more
