I have been a body heat member for a long time. Palm beach tan is currently taking over and I was excited and everything was great until I went in today. Last week I was told I was essentially grandfather in and my membership was locked in at my current price/package. Today i went to use my favorite bed and was told it was no longer included in my package. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked if I could have it until the end of my current monthly plan (the 15th, today is the 10th) and was told no.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] To top it off the two other beds I COULD use were broken/out of order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She let me use the bed I wanted as a one time courtesy they are offering.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If the other two beds are broken this shouldn't take up my one time courtesy IMO. Worst body heat store I have ever been to. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Whoever manages this store needs some serious training on new hires, I came in this evening to a new girl who had no clue what she was doing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I walked in there was a line of 5 people irritated as all heck, then as my wife went into her bed it was dirty as all heck and was not cleaned from the previous customer. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Every time I asked a question she would call her manager and put her on speaker and had no clue as to what she was doing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Note to the manager of body heat, shame on you for your shitty training and leaving a new hire alone by themself during peak times. If your staff is not trained properly, then maybe you need to stay later and work more hours until your " new hire " is up to speed. I have done every single type of equipment. They offer from Tanning beds to for a star to the hydration station, I red light therapy every single day I spray tan once in a while. I bought a Groupon for two spray tans for $20. I thought this was a good deal since I've been wanting to go tanning. I get to the store and behind the counter are two young kids that don't seem to know what they're talking about. I asked the male employee questions about a specific lotion I was looking for, and he had no idea what I was talking about. The young girl just sat behind the counter, playing on her phone the entire time. Then they proceeded to tell me that if I want to choose a medium color instead of light, I have to pay five dollars to upgrade even though the Groupon I bought said spray tan. It didn't specify a color. So I paid the five dollars to get a medium color. Then I go to the bed he assigned to me, get undressed, prep my skin, put my hair up, put the hairnet on, etc. Only to find out that he never started the bed. I couldn't press the green start button. I had to get dressed again and walk back to the front desk to tell him to activate the bed so I could start my tan. Then get undressed and prep my skin all over again. At this point I am already super annoyed. Let's just hope the spray tan looks OK. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Staff completely miscommunicated how the cancelation email works and had the nerve to try and recharge my card for another month knowing i only bought a one month package. It was the "assistant manager" that i bought the package with that miscommunicated everything even after i asked a million questions to avoid these type of issues. There was only 1 receptionist i encountered that was a doll (curly hair, soft spoken, freckles) so helpful and knowledgeable. She's the ONLY receptionist that told me i had two FREE upgrades i was able to use. The "assistant manager" that i originally booked with only told me about the happy hour upgrade prices/options but never that i actually had two free upgrades i was able to use during my membership. CALLING CORPORATE WAS EVEN WORSE! Brandy had the nerve to tell me I was lying about the miscommunication the body heat STAFF had given regarding the timeframe of the cancelation email saying "sorry but none of our employees would say that" completely implying that what i was saying was explained to me was something untrue and made up on my end. I didn't appreciate her implying i was lying AT ALL. I and asked to speak to someone higher than her like an owner and She refused to allow me to speak to any one other than her and proceeded to tell me i was still going to be charged for another month despite the fault being on the body heat staff. Her tone on the phone was completely rude and made you feel like your bothering her with your issues. No type of rectifying was done or offered by her AT ALL! There were points in the call where she stood completely quite not saying anything at all which is even more infuriating because i could tell she wanted me to just get frustrated and hang up and take the extra charge. Just outright HORRIBLE! What's the point of having a corporate team that treats you the same disrespectful way as the receptionists? I've never experienced this before especially from corporate employees and will be sure to let everyone know not to come here because staff/corporate is horrible, & the policies are not explained properly in order for them to blame YOU and keep charging you for THEIR mistakes/miscommunication. If i could leave zero stars i would that's how horrible this place is. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND GO ELSEWHERE WHERE YOU AND YOUR MONEY ARE APPRECIATED AND RESPECTED! read more

I've had a membership at BodyHeat tanning for over 5 years & I decided to finally cancel my membership. Due to lack of all locations having the SAME beds & services, lots of poor trained staff, & not keeping up on their beds by not taking care of changing their tanning bed bulbs. LEVEL ONE BEDS ARE A COMPLETE JOKE AT BODY HEAT!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! They purposely do that to try to sell you their "upgraded" beds. One of the biggest frustrations is that their store hours don't reflect the services or beds available. 3 times at this location I've been in around 11:15pm to Spray Tan (use my paid membership) & I wasn't able to because the employees (Jenny A & dark hair girl) said that she already cleaned it for the night & now it was out of service. They close at Midnight. Meanwhile their employees are busy on their phones not doing anything. With so many other options to Tan elsewhere in Vegas... I would suggest just that. read more

I have been frequenting the location on Durango most lately because I like Mikayla. She has been helpful in finding the right lotions for my goals and the right beds as well. I've been coming here for awhile now & Kaitlyn is absolutely amazing, she always recognizes me if I'm in my uniform or regular clothes, knows which rooms i like and knows my first and last name so when I arrive checking in is super quick and easy. She's a great trainer I've seen her teaching all the new hires and is super patient with them! She also gives the best advice for my tanning needs as I'm very fair skinned Irish with freckles, the auBURN hair, the whole deal so I burn super easy and I can never get to a nice tan but thanks to her my skin is absolutely glowing and I'm getting more freckles by the day! I highly recommend this location as they have the best customer service, I don't even go to any of the other locations by me I'll drive a few extra minutes to go to this location and see her! Usually my favorite tanning place! Very convenient, great prices, knowledgeable staff. Went to tan tonight and the doors are locked before 9pm.. hours online say 10pm. Very frustrating considering I work from 9am-8pm every day almost and this is the only time I can go. Will be going elsewhere with more consistent hours. read more

The rooms are never properly sanitized, there is always dirty towels left in the rooms and when you attempt to receive any customer service by corporate good luck , because they're robots that never go the extra mile. If you sign up with BODYHEAT you will go thru hell trying to cancel, its takes two months to cancel they get an extra month of revenue..It takes 5 minutes to sign up..They do not tell you the protocol when you sign up, i guess they figure every one would walk out..I cancelled two months ago and just got billed again..How dare you take advantage of people especially during these times..Stay away people, they feel when you sign up you forget and don't go, all the while your being billed, but when you cancel they do show professionalism or or concern for they're customer...Next review (Facebook and Better Business Bureau! I paid for a spray tan today that only sprayed half of my body. Ive used the spray tan before so i know how its supposed to look. I never call and complain but I needed a tan for an event. When I called corporate the young lady, Heather, would not give me a refund or allow me to respray. She instead told me to call back later. When i called back, She assured me they "checked the machine" and all they can do is offer me a BUY one get one free. She also refused to allow me to speak with anyone above her, or give me a name of someone above her. Do not give this company your money, and do not put your card on file. My ex-husband purchased on 8/15/2022 one month of unlimited use for my bday and was told it would auto renew if not canceled on or before 9/15/2022. I used the red light therapy on 9/15/2022 and attempted to cancel auto-renewal, but was told "you have to call corporate to cancel, but they won't answer"...spoiler alert they didn't answer. I called corporate, again, on 9/16/2022 and spoke to female biller and was told it was my "last day" to cancel with written request. I emailed request and awaited my 24 hours (excluding weekends) response time...spoiler alert (chirp, chirp, chirp) and as of a 9/24/2022 and still no response. So if you don't mind having to cancel your debit cards or change banks, you should definitely join here. read more

This place is a scam. The only way to cancel your membership is to email corporate. Then they require 30 day notice while they keep charging your account. If you get sick and are unable to use it they still refuse the cancel. It took 2 weeks to get a response while they continued to argue with me and refused to cancel my account. This place is super clean! I have a spray membership. Today I went and the girl offered me the "clear" spray. After she told me that basically I'll get the same color after 4-6 hours without that immediate dark bronze look. So I said okay! And when it sprayed me it literally felt like air or when the "drying cycle" begins. I told her I didn't feel any product come out and that it felt like air. She told me that it's a lighter solution and in the usual 4-6 hours my tan will develop. Here I am. 6 hours later and not a shade darker. I wish she would have listened to me when I said nothing came out of the nozzles. Now I have to go back. read more
