My first time getting a pedicure and manicure in Boerne. This place was great and offered wonderful customer service. I only received the basics because it was for an upcoming trip and I don't get my nails done often. The prices were very reasonable and even with the basics my toes still look good (3weeks later- some grow out) and my nails didn't start chipping until about 5 days (but I was in pools and hot tubs often). I previously wrote a low rated review explaining how I wasn't happy with the service provided. Within an hour I received a call from the salon apologizing and wanting to resolve the issue. I came back in and was seen by Daniel; it was a night and day difference compared to the first time. He was friendly, but also was very thorough with the service. I would give 5 stars for this salon because they were quick to fix the problem, but also kind and professional the entire time. My wife and child came in for pedicures. My child's pedicure was finished on time, but my wife's Milk & Honey pedicure took almost over 3 hours. It got so late that I had to come back to pick up our child because my wife's pedicure still wasn't finished. The guy who started my wife's pedicure should have finished the service. Instead Nancy the guy that have short hair now runs the business after the previous owners , tried to have a young technician take over halfway through. She refused because it wasn't her service. He scolded at both the young technician and the receptionist while they were simply trying to explain the situation and hoping to get compensation for my wife.I also don't think it was appropriate for he to be speaking loudly at the technician who was already working on my wife's pedicure. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere, a pedicure is supposed to be relaxing, but my wife ended up crying. That should never happen. The entire situation was handled very unprofessionally, and it seemed like there was a lack of communication and management. I hope Nancy treats both customers and employees with more respect and ensures the staff know what they're doing so situations like this don't happen again instead of being rude read more

The vibe here is very different from the past and and they completely ignored me for more than 30 minutes after my appointment time. I had been going to a different place when someone recommended I try Boerne Nails. I am SO impressed. The incredibly welcoming atmosphere is simply a bonus to the quality manicure I received. The price far beats anywhere I've been in boerne which is great because I felt compelled to tip well. This manicure just looks so much better than what I used to think was good at Valencia. I was able to call in my dinner order at Broken Stone a few doors down and pick it up afterward warm -- the gal at the register there mentioned she also goes here religiously despite living closer to Leon springs and her nails looked fantastic. 1st time visiting. The shop was busy, but had enough nail techs to provide for all the customers. I had a basic pedicure, it was adequate, not the level of service I have received in SA for the same price. My tech either did not speak English or was not interested in having a conversation? As a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in CPS care, once a month I take my child out for a special day. This was the second time we went to this salon for her to get her nails done. The people are polite and they do a wonderful job on the artificial nails. However, we asked the cost beforehand and was told $50. When it came time to pay, they added another $10 "for shaping" the nails. Wouldn't the nails have to be shaped after applying? It is very disappointing to know that this salon took advantage of a child, who also tipped them another $10. read more

This place is normally out of my way, but I was staying close by and decided to give it a try. I went in with a complicated design to match the theme of an upcoming event. After a stressful week, my hands were stiff as a corpse and Kathy managed to calm me down and did a great job with my "hideously-perfect" design. After that, a great pedicure by David. I just moved to Boerne from Salt Lake City where I had been going to the same nail lady for 2 years. I was nervous about finding a new nail salon but after reading the reviews for Boerne Nails on yelp I decided to give them a try. The first thing I noticed when I arrived was that it was spotless. I was greeted immediately upon entering and directed to my pedicure chair. Nina offered me something to drink and got started on my toes. After an amazing pedicure with a relaxing foot and leg massage, I moved to the nail section for my acrylic fill. Again, after going to the same place for so long I was nervous. Well not anymore! This is the worst. My nails look so bad, they are so WIDE I can't even type this review. The man was very rude because I didn't want shellac I just wanted color and he insisted. He was so rude about it when I kept refusing. I eventually said okay give me shellac and he didn't even paint my full nail the sides are not painted. These are probably the worst nails I've had done before. I'm never going back. read more
