I did NOT like that they didn't ask about ingrown toenail history and already cut "v"s into my big toenails without asking first and now I run the risk of getting them which absolutely sucks. Especially since cutting them off at the sides increases risk of having ingrown toenails. Haven't run into a nail salon that does this for some time now. I had the absolute worst experience here! My polish started chipping and I came to get it redone the next day but they only wanted to do my hands and not my toes because only my hands were chipped. The problem was I paid $133 to have them match and if I'm changing the color on my hands so this doesn't happen again why can't you do my feet also ? The reason in the salons opinion was my hands weren't under the light long enough but that's not true the paint was old and that's why it was flaking off. I got cut twice on my manicure and I asked to wash the blood off my hands (I know gross) and the nail tech was offended? I should have left then. Way overpriced and when I mulled over whether or not to give a tip, I figured a couple of bucks would be ok but of course when I handed him a $20 for change, he only provides me two $5 and a $10. I wanted to get out of there so bad, I gave him the $5 and walked away. Getting cut is unacceptable; I hope I don't get an infection. Please reconsider and find a sanitary place to go. read more

The worst manicure ever I have been given. Just recently moved back to Boerne and needed an acrylic nail manicure. First she had me put my fingers into fingernail polish remover the whole time she was doing my pedicure. I told her I did not want to put my fingers into the remover. She kept putting my hand back in. At the end she only polish my nails with a baby pink color without asking me what color I wanted. For the pedicure and manicure she charged me $63. My pedicure was just a basic one. The worst experience I have ever had. In New Braunfels, Nails Etc never used remover for acrylic nails. Very inexperience nail person. read more

They are very rude to customers. They make rude comments about your appearance and the nail station are untidy. There were clipped nails from the guest/s before which was super gross. They buff too strong and have caused serious damage to my nails. It's convenient as it is close to the grocery store (hence two stars rather than one ) but not worth it. I found out by going to another studio that they had done my nails completely wrong AND charged me extra for a service I did not get. - I got my first set of acrylics and they were not able to shape my nails as requested even after pictures were shown. - They charged me for gel/solar polish but painted my nails with regular nail polish. - They didn't put the acrylic the length of my nail bed. - The acrylic was way too thick. - This happened with both myself and a friend, so two different technicians overcharged us and didn't give us what we asked for. However, Nails Today & Spa has been there for a long time, and I would say I'm superbly satisfied with their services. My wife enjoys manicure/pedicure and I get pedicures. My feet feel brand new after getting a pedicure. We go all the time. Give them a chance, they have made improvements, and the staff that's there cares about customers. Nail tech wasn't very nice either! 2 nails broke off a day later went back to fill them and change ok loch because they were terrible. 3 days later 4!!!!! Hesitant at first because it's attached to a grocery store (but not part of the store). I went on a Sunday and there were only 2 other customers there so I got in quickly. They also had a lot of employees. I was on a time crunch so I asked if they could do my mani pedi at the same time; at first they were a little confused and the guy (owner I think) came over and was asking why k can't do them separate so I felt like I was an inconvenience to them. But they did it and the girls doing it were nice about it. I got shellac on both hands and feet-tons of colors to choose from. Total I paid 90 (120 after tip). Which was for deluxe pedicure with shellac and regular manicure with shellac. My nails turned out pretty good- some of the sides of my nails didn't get fully painted. My toes turned out great though- no complaints there. I would go to this place again but when I had more time. I think they were trying to rush because they knew I was on a time crunch. read more

On April 12, I walked in to this business needing a manicure for a wedding later that day. I was immediately shown to a nail technician, Lee, who asked all the necessary questions about what I wanted and proceeded to do a BEAUTIFUL french manicure. She was very gentle with my cuticles, especially on one of my fingers with a nasty torn cuticle. I was hesitant about getting a shellac manicure, especially since the last shellac manicure I got back in November totally trashed my nails when it was time to come off. Lee explained the proper way to remove a shellac manicure and how long it will take. She was fast while doing an absolutely wonderful job on my nails. I haven't been getting regular manicures, but now that I've meet Lee, that's going to change. read more

I love this place! Everyone is so nice. I have Jimmy do my nails. I'm very picky and he does an excellent job, they last and he is fast!! Bill is funny, he adds to the personality of the place with random humor often lacking in nail places. The ladies are all warm and friendly too. I'm sure they all do a great job. I thought they were great - I had Jimmy. He gave me a perfect French shellac. I was going to a competitor in Boerne that raised their prices, got rid of their good people and the ones that were left would put a thick coat of white on top (instead of 2 thin coats) so within a week I had scratches and dings in my nails. Not so now, it's been a month and they still look perfect. Time to get a new shellac! read more
