With a medical condition that makes them thin and peel constantly often causing pain, getting a manicure can be painful. I didn't want to complain so I paid and left but my daughter's nails look like skittles. They remind me of ET's fingers. Maybe even chicken feet nails that's been filed down. Worst of all, it was $84 (not including tip) for an 8 year old! I can't be too hung up on the price and I'll take the blame on that as I should have inquired on pricing for kids but I've taken her to get the same service done at VIP nails (5 mins away) and it was no more than $30. Even in San Diego, it was $25-$30 tops for kids. I guess it wouldn't be so bad to pay $84 if it looked good but it was the worst I've ever seen her nails. Its so thick. We've gotten the same exact service at all the other locations I've taken her to and they were thin and natural looking. These look like thick water droplets on her cute little fingers. We almost got the glow in the dark paint.... Good thing we didn't because she could be a cast member for ETs fingers. The attached picture doesn't look as bad as it does in real life. Regarding the staff, they were VERY NICE. Really sweet ladies. They did try to upsell my friend and I on their highest pedicure package but as soon as we said we wanted to stick to the $55 package, the ladies looked at each other and started speaking in their language making it seem like they were talking crap about us for not upgrading. But since I don't understand their language, I'm going to assume they said that they're super excited to do our nails. Sadly, I will not be going back due to the quality especially since it's much less for the SAME service down the street. We live across the street from them so I'm sad it didn't work out. On the rating: Staff is a 5 star but nails are 1 star.
