I love this place! They always have a great variety of quality beers, extremely friendly beertenders and did I mention the great beer? My favorite if the West King Haze their NEIPA, but I often enjoy the Blume Bier or Cream Ale as well. Bog is a quaint environment. If you sit at the bar, expect to converse with others. There are other areas for seating if you do not want to socialize. To me, this is all good. I have been to other breweries that are not setup for both types of social situations. Not a brewery where you pick up a dart game. But it looked like there were a couple of table top games. If you are going to a brewery, then you know tour beer preferences so I won't guide you on that. Get a flight. Prices are reasonable. read more

Meh. So we frequent breweries and since I've heard the beer is great, we went. I tried the cream ale which was pretty good. BUT the atmosphere was quiet and recluse. The female beertender wasn't very friendly either. Don't waste your time. Plenty of other places to go...Go to Chatsworth or Ann O'Malley's. read more

In the area for a little respite from work and as a fl craft beer aficionado will do, I sought out the local greats. Bog Brewing is a smaller establishment, but it's big on personality and most importantly, the beer. I had the cream ale and the American wheat, both of which were fantastic. Even better, the bartender gave me a sample of a small batch red ale that is being released this weekend, which made me hurt inside because I wanted more. This place is where you go to relax, enjoy fantastic beer, and talk with the locals. The owners are also the guys that brew the beer, and between serving customers they enjoy talking about brew and anything else that comes to mind. There's a 10 week old boxer named Greta that greets you at the door and asks for pets. Come, stay for a beer and enjoy the company! Oh, and the beer is amazing and fresh, taps are short and clean, and they constantly switch up the selection. They keep about 12-15 beers on tap and it's cheap! 5 bucks for a beer. New brewery that does a very nice job. It is out of the way, laid back and has some good home brewed choices. Mine was the Coffee stout. Really good. My only complaint is that they don't have anything to snack on or eat. They were nice enough to offer us someone's pretzels which was nice. But the beer, yeah go for that. I love my breweries, so I had to make sure I visited one on my trip. My friend told me that this was the one to visit for sure. It's off the beaten path in St. Augustine, you have to drive from downtown. That makes it difficult if you are shopping and want to stop in for a beer before continuing with your day. Location aside, the brewery is adorable. It's a typical brewery. There's plenty of seating at the bar and inside and it's dog friendly! They even keep dog treats behind the bar. They have a fairly decent selection of taps - but it isn't expansive. I personally enjoyed the ginger ale. My friend ordered the cream ale expecting it to be similar to the name and it was just a pilsner, tasted remarkably like Bud Light. The bartender was very sociable, friendly, and helpful. This is a relatively new little brew pub within walking distance of the main old St. Augustine tourist area. But you won't find many tourists here. It's a place locals discover one by one and stop by frequently. As you'd expect in a brew pub, the tanks are in full view along with bags of the malts and grains and hops which eventually become beer. There are tables and chairs scattered about but no food. There are menus from various pizza and other fast casual places; you can call and have dinner delivered. Or walk 3 doors down to the vegetarian restaurant, order and pick it up when it's ready. The beer they brew here seems to be a cut above much of the craft beer out there. They have a brown ale which is particularly good if you like a smooth and not bitter beer.
