The taco truck out back is absolute fire, and the overall vibe is just right--relaxed, friendly, and fun. Another bonus: parking is surprisingly easy in this part of King Street. On my most recent visit, the bar was busy with several large groups, including our own, plus a pretty rowdy bachelor party. Despite the rush, our bartender Andrew handled it all like the pro that he clearly is. As a fellow beertender, I know how hectic that kind of night can be--but he stayed calm, worked through the line efficiently, swapped kegs without missing a beat, and still took the time to offer me a couple of samples when I couldn't make up my mind. Restaurants are crying the blues about costs, but don't seem to care much about quality any longer. If you like Cheese curds, you'll enjoy theirs. I originally had my eye on the jerk chicken wings and I was warned by the waitress and my friend that they are REALLY hot. Jerk chicken is generally one of those thats right on the borderline of too hot for me. To give you an idea, if you're familiar with Butthutt BBQ's jerk chicken, theirs is as far as I can go for spice level. So I switched it up to be safe, and I am glad I did. Sweet and sticky, these had really great flavor inside and out. Would definitely get these again in the future. Brought a couple home to the hubby and he seemed to enjoy them too, and he normally doesn't like, what he refers to as, "sweet meat". I had three different beers in my favorite tasting style, sour. I had the PB&J sour, the mango sour, and the orange cream sour. The orange cream was my favorite of the 3. We enjoyed the sounds of the band Splittone in the background and enjoyed the whole vibe of our meal.
