I honestly wanted to give one star but I always have had such great help when I buy dog food and treats so I had to give two (specifically Morgan he's really helpful and knowledgeable). Where do I begin... I called a week ahead. I explained exactly how my puppy looked 38 pounds, dad is a full sized poodle/mom is a small terrier and asked how much for a groom. The person on the phone says $60-$70. And that high end would be $70. I say great and book the appointment. I'm met with a lady who I explain exactly to how I want her groomed. Listen I've been grooming her myself (I'm a hairstylist so I know my way around a haircut but I know I'm not a groomer so I wanted to get her a real haircut). It takes a little over an hour and I pick her up. As I check out the lady says "ok $90" I was floored and she brings out the "grooming manager" this lady proceeds to tell me my puppy is the size of a labradoodle. Which is insane this is a 38 pound puppy I brought in. No matter how many ways I explained this and that I was quoted $60-70 that didn't matter. So I paid and let it be. The more I think about it I had to write this because I felt scammed and I wanted to make people aware. This is a place I have bought all my expensive dog food and dog treats from exclusively from weekly for the 7 months I've had my puppy. I go no where else and frankly I'll never go here again. Not only was it $90. Her legs weren't even touched. Or her ears. Not a great job and not the price I was quoted. Super bummed. read more

The shop is so great, high quality options. It has almost everything you'd need very good friendly service, family owned and you can feel that. The groomer Kaitlyn is so incredible, she's never had a accident unlike most when your pets come home with injuries she truly cares and is so good at connecting with dogs, she's kind, gentle and she can work magic on even the toughest roughest cases as she had my dog looking gorgeous when she had been full of major dreadlocks and super dirty when I first got her. We are now repeat clients and my dog loves Kaitlyn. You just know they're in good hands and my pickiest craziest dog mom friends I know have now switched to this place for shop needs (food, leashes, treats, etc) and grooming with Kaitlyn! This isn't the first time I didn't like the services. I took my dog for his nails. He likes to look out the window so he jumps on the side. He scratched the panel. I brought him in to get his nails trimmed and filed and they are still sharp. The girl looked at me like confused about what I was asking for. I just paid for the service and going to take him somewhere else. I thought they were just bad at doing haircuts for dogs because I brought him there before for a haircut and it was so bad. The grooming has really gone downhill. I brought my dog in for a bath and a trim. When I picked her up she was clean and trimmed, nails clipped. I get her home and find small mats in her ear hair...$55 for the grooming and they don't even check to see if everything is done. read more

Horrible!! This place has gotten progressively worse over the years. We have two of the same type of dogs and for whatever reason they cannot for the life of them figure out how to cut them the same, let alone similar. Today we picked them up and they completely shaved one dog's tail and left the others long and bushy. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere. I promise you it'll be worth it! Now, we'll patiently wait for our dog's tail and hair to grow out at the expense of the incompetent groomers. I have gone to bogarts for a few years because we loved Gabi! She did a Great job with our 2 golden doodles and drive all the way from Summerlin just for her. I called recently to book an appt and she is no longer there. My friend takes her doodle to Rebecca so I figured I would give her a try. They wanted me to bring my doodles in on different days because it would take a long time. I explained to her I live in Summerlin and Gabi would always do them both together within 4-5 hours. I heard her being snarky in the back and saying well I don't have that luxury. So I guess I'll just take my business elsewhere since the receptionist and new groomer were being snarky. read more

*I am updating this to say that I've been in touch with the grooming manager and she has been very helpful and empathetic towards this situation.* I have been bringing my dog here for a while and her groomer, I believe Erica is her name, has always done a great job with her, which is why I have kept coming here for the past two years. However, yesterday 1/14/2023 she had a different girl groom her and she did a HORRENDOUS job. My dog has a terrible cut on her face. She is scratching at it and it is bleeding. She is in pain and has been curling up to me for comfort. Any fur baby owner would be upset at this. This is insanely unacceptable and I would like a refund for this cut. *Warning* Disturbing Post! Bogart's CUT off my dog's ear and tried to hide it!!! I took my dog for the first time to Bogart's Bone Apetit- southern highlands because my usual groomer was booked. TERRIBLE DECISION!! 2 days later after my yorkie got groomed at Bogart's, i felt something crunchy on her ear. I assumed in the moment she got food stuck in her fur - happens often! I didn't think anything of it. The next time I gave my dog a bath a portion of her ear FELL OFF! It's a literal slice. There appears to be a little chunk of GLUE on it! Not only did the groomer not have the integrity to say something - THE OWNER STILL HASN'T CALLED ME BACK to have a conversation or apologize!!! I have CALLED several times for the last 2 days. How many other dogs has this or WILL this happen to?! Can you imagine the pain she must have been in when they cut her ear little ear off?! FRIENDS- please be aware. I get grooming accidents happen- but the owner can't even call me back to APOLOGIZE?! This is not someone who cares about animals!! This is a felony- mutilation of an animal. I was at a park with my dog when the leash broke. I didn't have my purse or mask with me as I didn't plan any shopping but only be in the water at the park, So when the leash broke, I was desperate for a leash so my friend gave me money to go in this store. At the door I said I didn't have a mask and asked for one, they said I couldn't come in but they also couldn't provide one. I said I was really in need of a leash as I can't keep carrying my dog in this heat and I don't want him to run under a car. In the end the employee let me in to quickly buy a leash and I purchased one of the only retractable leashes they have in the assortment, which is Flexi of which they have 3 kind. So very limited variety in retractable leashes but this isn't Petco or petsmart I guess. I paid $24 with tax which is about 3 dollars more than what you pay at petco for this brand. Well, where do I begin? I called on Tuesday to make an appointment for my two pups and spoke with Caitlin. She said 1 & 1:30pm okay, I said fine. She said any groomers okay? I said that's fine too. Come Thursday my husband tried to drop them off only for them to say there were no appointments written down for us. Well, hubby was livid since its very inconvenience. While speaking to Caitlin who told my husband she was the Manager, he handed me the phone and I immediately said what do you mean we have no appointments. I spoke to you! and she immediately said yes I do remember, I wrote them down but somehow, someone must've erased it. Really? Instead of taking accountability, that's what she said happened. While she was supposedly looking for whatever, I said you can't take them right now? She then said Saturday is the next available & I said ok, with all this inconvenience, do we get some kind of discount at all? She said I will ask the grooming manager and will call you. Saturday came, no one called me or even to remind us of the appointment. So, who knows if we really had an appointment? I never went because I know there's no appointment again! At this point, we will not be going back there nor refer them to people we know. I wish I could give zero star! So disappointed of this place. read more

This pet store has 3 rooms to self wash and dry your dogs. $15 each includes apron, towels, shampoo, dryer and a scrub brush. I may be mistaken but they used to have upgrades (maybe the other location) for blueberry facial or conditioners. So I will be bringing my lux items for my dogs. Just love the convenience of them cleaning up after I wash 3 dogs. I'm exhausted, they are exhausted and cleaning my bathroom after would push me over the edge. first time checking this location! i usually go to the fort apache one but because we moved i said let me try the one that's much closer. walk around the clothing area to check if i find something i like then went back to bakery side, lady in a pink shirt asked if she can help me while im browsing so im like sure, daw a M size blank bone and said can i get this one and write happy birthday on? abs she was like no we only have these one and im like ok that's different never had issue when i asked the other location, and everytime i pick an item she will be anything else (are we in a rush or something) and when i pick and read the sign it's either we don't have it or this is that and im like i just start pointing because clearly the labels are misplace all over the baker part i just got annoyed on how she was, not only feel rushed she made me feel like dumb for saying the label and saying im wrong so towards the ends said we'll seems like your signs are all misplaced and she was like anything else and im like NO! i was suppose to pick more treats that my dog never tried before like the pizza etc but her energy tone attitude was annoying!! never had this kind of customer service at the other location! might drive extra miles for a better service than this place! this place is a bigger location which is nice. but wouldn't comeback! read more

The only reason I'm Giving this place 2 stars is because Kaitlyn, the groomer is awesome and so nice to my dog. But other than that I feel the need to write this review because they have zero regard for customer service, wanting to make things right, or wanting to keep a costumer for the long haul. I am in this industry and know how it is, I know the customer isn't always right, but If I were the owner, I'd be more willing to bite the bullet on $15 dollars, than lose a customer forever-but that's just my humble opinion. Long story short, I took my dog here last month and his regular groomer wasn't there. That's fine, i decided to take a chance. That was a mistake. The haircut was so bad I felt bad for my poor dog. It was nothing I asked for. Upon calling to complain, I was able to talk to Garret who was able to understand my frustration and offered a 50% discount off my next service. When I brought my dog in today for a trim, I asked BEFORE They took them back if I could hold off on the discount until he needed a full haircut. The groomer said that was fine so I thought perfect. When I was about to pay, I notified the cashier of my conversation with Kaitlyn. She said that information was incorrect and that that couldn't be done. No apology for the miscommunication, nothing. I told them that the reason I merited the discount was because of the terrible experience I had recently had. I thought maybe a discount off what a full haircut would have cost could have been offered. But Nope! I think I've given this place enough chances. The store has limited selection basically only dog food and a small selection of leashes and collars. Their dog washing station is exactly why it's the cheapest in town. It's the bare minimum. The apron they have available for the self dog washing is a snap apron and kept falling off while I was washing my dog. They need to have the kind it goes over the head so it's convenient. They have cheap shampoo and conditioner and when you run out in the bottle that's it. I came in and there was very little in the bottle and not enough to use. We didn't do eye stain on that day as we are giving a benefit of the doubt its not an eye infection since she just barely got groomed on that day maybe it was just an irritation by shampoo.Dr. Recommended to monitor after 24 hrs. The next day it got worse that why my husband and I took her back and agreed for an eye stain and it came out positive for eye infection. When you ran the CAMERA did u zoom in her both eyes? And as so you know, It will take couple of hours for the signs and symptoms to appear. The ear infection came out after several days we noticed a foul odor on both ears. It triggers her ears because it all started from her eyes. Why would we accept the 2 free grooms when my dog got infection from your place/groomer. Well its your obligation to compensate us. We were not supposed to spend money if you did not NEGLECT our dog. Oh well lesson learned. "We took our dog to a wrong babysitter".But please advise your manager REBECCA its her job to troubleshoot an issue and she should be facing the customer when we need answers. When he returned I asked the groomer if he was well behaved and she said he was great but not all his nails were filed down and they were barely touched. I dropped my dog off to get groomed. He is a Shih Tzu and is used to going to the groomers and to this specific establishment. It normally takes one hour. It took over three hours for them to be done and they tried to say it was our fault for being 5 minutes late to our appointment. When I got there he looked choppy and his face was hardly trimmed or washed. They got so close to his skin on his body it looks raw in some areas. Many know small dogs are prone to eye boogers. As soon as we walked out my poor puppy pooped himself with diarrhea because he was so stressed out. He tends to do that when he gets scared or extremely stressed, but he's never done that after getting groomed. I am never taking him there again. read more

The staff here was extremely nice and helpful with answering my questions concerning the baked goods for dogs! They had adorable cookie donuts, pb shaped bones, pizza and more! The staff was nice enough to show me one of the dog wash stations, which is literally your own personal room with a tub, dryer, shampoo and towels. They clean up after you're done and it's only $10.99. I liked the selection of dog chews, but the regular toy items were a bit overpriced. Our groomer was Carol and she took care of my baby so well!!! I always notice every single detail when it comes to my pup because we're always stuck together like glue, so I easily noticed how my pup's haircut is perfectly even all over! No choppy edges or anything! She is so soft and smells soooo good! Usually the sweet scent goes away in 2 days but after a couple days she still smells just as good and still so so soft even after playing outside! She was such a happy pup when I picked her up! Carol even gave me a full report on how she did, and how my pup gave carol sweet kisses while she was being groomed! The service was also amazing here! I called super last minute yet they were able to fit me in happily! The ladies in the front seat were super helpful and friendly as we walked around the isles to view what they had! I live about 5 mins away from here so I'm so glad they did an amazing job! I no longer have to drive far to get my baby groomed! read more
