    For all you type A ladies like myself -- do your self a favor and hire Carrie, you need Carrie as you planner. I cannot stress how important it is to hire a planner for your wedding and that planner needs to be Carrie, without Carrie our day would have been absolute chaos, she truly is one of the best vendors we hired and made our day a true dream. We cannot thank her enough - she went above and beyond and everyone saw in awe on just how amazing she truly is. We hired Carrie as our planner and designer and truly was the best decision we made. Carrie put together a truly amazing day that we will always remember as one of the best days of our lives. Carrie is such an amazing human and her attention to detail + personability is just a couple of her many strengths. When we hired Carrie we knew that we did not have to worry about anything since she had everything covered and she did. People asked me how my wedding went and it was perfect and they said oh you must have had people shielding you from the chaos - in fact there was no chaos and that is 100% due to the fact that we had Carrie. If you want a perfect wedding (literally it will be perfect) then hire Carrie & Boheme Events. You will not be sorry, since she will take your vision and 10x it! I could not be more happy with how everything turned out and its 100% because of Carrie and Boheme Events. Carrie thank you so much, we are so grateful for all the hard-work and just absolutely breathe-taking design you created. We have been living on cloud 9 looking back and remembering our day just 35 days ago. We had the most magical day & its all because of you. Thank you Boheme Events!!     Our wedding day was made possible by two things: my husband's and my love for each other, and Carrie. She is truly an incredible human being and wedding planner. Our wedding consisted of multiple ceremonies (Christian and Hindu), multiple live bands and performances, an Argentinian wood fire caterer and 120 guests. Did I mention we hosted our wedding in our backyard? Not only did she pull all of this off, but she did it at a non traditional venue. One of the first things I said to Carrie was that I wanted to enjoy the entire wedding planning process, meaning I wanted her to take on all of the stress for me, and that she did. She kept us so organized and on time with vendors, payments, invites, literally everything. If you are in the market for an incredible planner who you will want to keep in your life forever, I couldn't recommend Carrie more.

    This review is long overdue! :) If I had to describe Carrie + the Boheme Events team, it would be: Best. Decision. Ever. My now husband, Andre, and I had been searching for the right wedding planner for our August 2021 wedding. Granted, it was primetime covid and my OCD self made 8 different plans of how this wedding could turn out. One thing was for sure, we needed a planner who not only understands the wedding business- but also understood the climate of this pandemic situation. And so we called Carrie- the most down to earth, enthusiastic, and caring person. She's one of those people who you know that this career is literally their passion. Like, she loves Love. We all instantly clicked. When a lot of others we inquired had a lot of worry about their own businesses (understandably so), Carrie was so optimistic, determined that no matter what- we'd create a wedding that we would love. But of course, she kept it real with us because some of those months were trrrrryyyiiinnng times. She made us feel loved and cared for during the wedding planning journey. Carrie always kept us in the loop and had a beautiful organizational system that helped us with design (our biggest need) and budgetting. She listened to us and helped bring our design visions to life. She also did our florals and she knocked it out of the park. I'm allergic to flowers so we did a dried flower bouquet arrangement and they were beautiful. The day was so seamless, and as a bride, I worried about nothing except enjoying the moment. Long story short, we believe that it was through Carrie's positive energy that helped us have the wedding we envisioned. And it is a day we'll always remember and be thankful for.

    Boheme Events was INCREDIBLE to work with for our wedding this past weekend. We had the pleasure of working with Carrie throughout the planning process and Mari was our day of coordinator who went above and beyond from start to finish. They were kind, thoughtful and presented spot-on recommendations for our wedding that ended up being crucial for the event and flow of the ceremony, dinner and dancing. In addition, they made every effort to incorporate special requests we made such as having an "Hora Loca", a South American tradition where wigs and glow sticks were passed out to hype up our guests for an hour of up beat music. I could not recommend Boheme Events enough for wedding planning. If we were to go back in time, I wouldn't think twice about hiring them again - they're the best!

    Carrie Elizabeth was a wonderful to work with, the best investment of our whole wedding! My husband and I joked, that she was the wedding gift we bought ourselves, but it was absolutely true. Carrie Elizabeth made the wedding planning for us painless, and on our special day we were able to focus on each other and our family & friends. After interviewing many wedding coordinators, we found Boheme Tipi & Events on Instagram. After meeting with Carrie Elizabeth, we immediately loved her energy & passion for what she does. Her expertise and experience were an integral part in guiding us to the right decisions. Planning Process: Carrie Elizabeth made herself available to answer any questions we had, regarding planning and vendors providing impartial information. She remained in continuous contact throughout the process, checking in at milestones to keep us on track. In every meeting Carrie Elizabeth took extensive notes and would send them for review to insure we were all on the same page. She is responsive to emails, and provide clear communication and feedback. She also brought to our attention details we failed to consider or areas that may be a concern. We appreciated her attention to detail, we always felt we were in good hands. Wedding Day: Carrie Elizabeth did a wonderful job coordinating with all our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page and that things ran smoothly. Like every wedding not everything goes according to plan, Carrie Elizabeth was able to navigate thru all of our wedding day's challenges. Her expertise & creativity to bring our special day together. What was most important to Scott & I was when it came to our wedding day we wanted to be able to focus on each other and be able to celebrate with our loved ones...     After two years of planning a postponed COVID wedding, we put our trust in Carrie (and her team) to pull off our 3-day wedding that started with a rehearsal dinner on Friday to two different receptions in two different cities on Saturday (at a ranch) and Sunday (at a museum) during the 2021 Labor Day weekend. Needless to say - she blew it out of the park. My husband and I felt completely taken care of, especially when our bartender did not show at the Saturday wedding! It's not easy planning COVID weddings and we knew this was a huge job for her and her team since it was a three-day wedding. Since 2019, she's been on top of all of the details, helped my husband and I make choices - albeit better choices, and she always puts us first. She's helped us through some of the toughest times - when we thought about condensing and/or canceling. We are so blessed to have her as our wedding planner and hope this review helps others make the decision as well!

I've been to many Playland's in the greater Bay Area…read moreand I have to be brutally honest, this Playland in Sausalito, California is by far the worst. I traveled all the way to Playland Sausalito from the South Bay with my 5 year old son for my cousins 5 year old son's birthday party. Upon exiting and making a left her and a left there I found myself driving through an old, dusty, shoddy, dirt road, with barrack style bungalows up into an old, spooky gymnasium. I'm assuming they're using 'Playland' in the school's old gymnasium. Is the school still open? I do not know, but from the looks of it, I doubt it. Just looked run down and unkept to be actually open on a day-to-day basis. I'm giving Playland Sausalito a 1 star review because mostly everyone from my cousins party ended up catching either the flu or some variation of the stomach bug that's been going on. Depending on if you were an adult or a child that kind of dictated your symptoms. After calling and asking around if anyone else from the party got sick I was not surprised to hear that, yes other people in attendance got sick. In addition to getting sick, the overall venue was kind of run down and seemed like it's on it's last leg. A few inflatables, a few balls to kick around, 2 pop-a-shot basketball hoops (one didn't work), and a cold gloomy atmosphere. Nice! I understand what Playland Sausalito is trying to do in terms of providing a safe fun-filled place for children to have parties and hang out with friends and family but if children and adults are getting sick than that's defeating the purpose. Maybe it was a one time thing or others have gotten sick at this establishment but I think lack of attention to detail, sanitary practices, and overall kind of just a dingy, ordinary, throw a few balls and inflatables in here and call it a 'Playland' is lame and dangerous. Also, when I called Playland to ask a question as to if they are open or not? (says they are closed on Yelp unless it's a private party), the guy that answered the phone said "Hello".. LoL, not "Thank you for calling Playland how can I help you" so I had to ask the guy "Is this Playland?". Not professional dude. In hindsight, as I was oblivious of what was to come the days after the party, I made a comment to my cousin that they were having another party right after us and I didn't see them doing any kind of sanitary wipe downs or anything. Yikes! In conclusion, I probably won't be coming back again and if you were thinking on planning a party for your little one here, I'd look around some more for I'm sure there are other venues that offer more bang for your buck. Do I recommend, No.

We met a few times in the months leading up to check in about my plans and for her to offer suggestions and guidance. All her recommendations were excellent, from timeline details to referring other vendors. She knows the Outdoor Art Club (a historic building) inside and out, so I was able to relax completely and not worry about their rules and requirements at all, trusting that Stacey had it covered. I made things more complicated by having our ceremony at a nearby park instead of OAC, but even with that added everything went absolutely perfectly. She also did an excellent job setting up all the decorations to make the room look gorgeous, and packing it all up for us at the end of the night, including a mail order Photo Booth that had to be packed just right back in its original box. She also had a number of decorations we could use (frames for signage, a card box, some candles, candelabras and votives, blankets for the ceremony) that were incredibly helpful. She had all the logistics and details covered, letting us and our families just enjoy the night and float through each different part without any worries! As the bride, I didn't think about anything but celebrating all night, and that is all thanks to Stacey's expertise. She also did our save the dates and invitations, as well as much of the signage for the wedding itself, and they were all beautiful. She really went above and beyond, including finding a specific font and actually creating some design elements herself that fit my vision, and I'm so appreciative!

Stacey always communicated about party arrangements on time and I was never worried about the party being the perfect day. Everything was completed on time and as planned- leaving me able to enjoy myself for the evening. Several guests commented that it was the best party they had been to!
