So first of all they call it the Bohn Zone which is by far the funniest thing in the world. Lol. I honestly wish I could post the photo I took of their purpose. But back to the point, I just bought a new RAV4 from them and I worked with Craig in Sales. He's honestly the best thing about the dealership. He even let us test drive the vehicle to go get bubble tea since the place we were going to closed soon. I don't like to leave reviews unless the experience is awful or its amazing but I definitely enjoyed working with Craig. He was super nice with a hint of sarcasm. He was also helpful and when I told him I wanted to buy the base model and not the expensive one, he didn't waste my time trying to sell me the upgrade. He also plays video games so that's how you know you can trust him...right? Lol. And he answered my ridiculous character questions because I don't work with people unless they have a good character, or at least can take a joke. All in all, it was a fun experience. I got my new car for an amazing price $21,895 plus tax, title and registration. I honestly had no issues. When I find a car dealer I like, I tend to go back to them for the next vehicle. I wish I could give negative Stars. This place is not run by the Mr. Bohn anymore, it's been bought out by a corporate conglomerate and the service has sunk to an all time low. First they stripped one of my wheel locks taking my tires off for a rotation. They came to me and said it was my fault because 1) they said I did not have my wheel lock in my glove box and 2) they claimed they used the correct wheel lock (their own) and the lug on my car was on too tight. They told me it would be $60 to remove the stripped wheel lock lug and replace it with a plain lug. I could not corroborate the claim that I did not have my wheel lock at the time because my car was up on their lift. 3 hours later (I had arrived at 7AM sharp, allegedly the second car in the bay) to rotate tires and change my oil, they took the car off the lift. I immediately opened my glove box and showed them my wheel lock. They used the wrong wheel lock to remove my lock lugs, they lied about having looked for my wheel lock in my glove box, they blamed me for them stripping my wheel lock lug and it took 3 HOURS for an oil change and a tire rotation. In the end they did not charge me for anything, but I will never take my dear car back to these people. And Mr. Bohn, they are ruining your good name! read more

I recently brought a vehicle there a 2013 Equinox in June of 2018. We were given a pre-sale price with a $1,000 dollar reduction for dents and a $1,000 for the trade in. The trade blue book value ranged from 2,500 - 1, 500, so I was ripped off there, plus when paper work was done the 1,000 reduction for the dents was not included. Then the finance department talked us into buying a warranty that should have covered the vehicle from bumper to bumper but when we tried replacing a wiper that wasn't working a bumper that was tacked on and the windshield we were told they weren't covered. We asked that these things be repaired because we were lied too and Mr. LaRosa and his flunky Mr.Joseph refused. We had to contact their headquarter in Houston (They have the Bohn name but are not part of the Bohn family) in order for them to take off the price of the warranty the lied about and then had us finance. Avoid at all cost, they are not locally owned and or dishonest in their practices. read more

I purchased a 2013 Kia Optima in January of this year, in March of this year, I am driving on the highway and the car shuts off so I have to spend $100 to have the car towed home because it would not start back up. I call Bohn Brothers Toyota where I purchased the car from and am told that they do not work on Kia vehicles because they are a Toyota dealership, not sure why they would sell cars they don't work on, but that's besides the point, I am told that I need to take it to the Kia dealership close to me, no problem, so I have it towed there. Come to find out, the engine locked up, and it is not covered by the extended warranty that I believe I was conned into purchasing, I say that because they made it sound like the finance company would not finance me if I didn't purchase the extended warranty, although the finance company told me I could cancel the warranty at any time. I posted a review on Facebook and someone responded to the dealership and signed the name Mike asking me to call and see how they can fix this. I call Mike , no it wasn't him who left the comment it was someone named Chris , who Mike advised me he would have call me the next morning first thing, this is now a week later and I am still waiting to hear from someone on how they are going to fix this, although, I believe that they only way they can fix this is to pay the approximately $6000 in repairs that Kia is telling me it will probably cost to fix a car that I have had for less than 3 months and have not driven in 3 weeks because it is still at the Kia dealership. The service department at the Kia dealership is being more helpful to me than Bohn Brothers Toyota, and Bohn Brothers Toyota is where I purchased the vehicle from, you would think they would want to do something to retain my business after this. read more

Service Department is the worst I've ever been to! Especially Antonio Rosado! Everything I tell him is obviously made up and not true, he is VERY rude and lied to me about a parts being replaced on my car like I wouldn't notice! Not only will I NEVER return to this property, I will trade in my Toyota Corolla 10' for a Honda the first chance I get! I have had nothing, but problems with this car. This place is filled with "slick" salesmen who think they can sell you anything. I called ahead to check to see if a used car was still available. I came 15 minutes later and they proceeded to tell me it had been sold. They then offered to have me test drive a car that was nearly twice the price. Obviously I walked out and they lost my business. Later in the day, they called me and started to try and tell me what else they had on their lot. This was infuriating. Do not waste your time with this place. They post "phantom" cars to get you in the door. How they think this is good business I have no idea. read more

I got a good deal on a used car at Bohn. Only problem was, after the transaction was done it turned out they only had one key for the car. A dealer should not let a car go off the lot with only one key, and they could easily have duplicated the key at the Honda dealer down the street. Instead, I had to pay more than two hundred dollars to have a key made and the key does not have remote entry capability. read more

When you are buying/looking at cars here, the service and atmosphere from staff is great. When you bring your car in for maintenance/service, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND other places. Last year, I brought my Tacoma truck in for the 25,000 miles factory maintenance and waited about 1 hour and 45 mins. I was walking from the main building to the service building and saw my truck in the back, thinking it was done. I went in and asked about it and the staff went to back to check for me. He came back and said they are about to start in 10 mins. The next I came in was 6 months ago for my fiancé car. We brought it in at because the car was making weird sounds. We came in early at 8 in the morning. They checked on it and said the belt was worn and something else needed to be changed. They said it should be done by 2 in the afternoon. That's 6 hours. So, we came back around 1:45 and again, we saw the car in the back thinking it was done. We asked the service guy and he asked the mechanic and his response was, "we didn't start on it yet" and that we have to pick it up tomorrow morning. I was furious because of the wasted day and that we had plans for the next day. They probably honestly forgot about it or they were understaffed, so I just let it go. Today at 12:00 p.m., I brought in my corolla for 15,000 miles maintenance inspection. At 15k, they are just inspecting all fluids, lines, and brakes. After 2 hours, I walked from the main building to the service building. Again for the third time, I saw my car parked in back just sun bathing. I asked about the car and the lady at the desk went to check on it and told me they are about to start on my car in 15 mins. It's now 2:05 and I have to pick my 9 yr old brother from school at 2:35. I had to cancel the service maintenance to pick up my little brother. When the mechanic drove my car to me, I asked him,(name on shirt was Vu) normally how long does it take to do maintenance? He looked at my mileage in my car and replied "1 hour to 1 hour and 10 mins top." I asked him why my car haven't been worked on after 2 hours and he just said to come in early in the morning at 7am for faster service. Worst service ever. I occasionally go to Toyota of New Orleans and never had this problem but their prices are normally 10-15% higher. This is a free maintenance and I should have gone to them. I now know my lesson and will not go here ever again for vehicle service. read more

Horrible service in the service department! Brought my car in for my 20k oil change/tire rotation and they said it was going to be at least 2 hours. So I left and waited for them to call back. They called and said I had a nail in my tire and asked if I wanted it patched. I said yes. About 45 minutes to hour later, they called me back and said I had a nail in my other tire that could not be repaired. I told them I would call back for a price when I could leave it longer and set up a new appointment. By then my car had been there for over 4 hours and needed to run errands. Called back the next day at 1:00 pm to get an exact price quote and they took a message but no one called me back. Called back at 6:15 pm the same day and Misty told me everyone had left for the day. It says the service department closes at 7:00 pm! She took a message but told me if I did not get the size tire of the car she couldn't do anything. she said I had to go outside and either give her the tire size or VIN number off my care I do not work for Toyota! She could have looked it up by my car make and model . She was rude and did not want to help me. E-mailed the service manager and still have not had anyone contact me back. Its been over 3 days now. Apparently no one there cares to keep a customer. Needless to say I will not be bringing in my car here anymore! read more

We have never felt so humiliated at a dealership before till we visited Bohn Brothers. My wife and I visited this dealership because the internet sales person was really nice over the phone, we didn't mind the drive from Metairie to Harvey, easily could have gone to Lakeside Toyota. I want to see the new 2016 Toyota Tundra and we took in our 2012 Ford F150 to get evaluated for trade in. Long story short, they ran the car fax on the truck and because it had 1 accident that was moderate, front ride side damage, no airbags were deployed, CLEAN title, they gave us a bad offer, $10,000 less than blue book value. It wasn't so much the offer that made us feel so humiliated, it was the way the manager told us in these words: - "This truck is worthless to us" "I don't want this truck on my lot" "I don't want it!" .. I can understand policies, etc but this is not the way you treat customers, no matter how trashy your trade- in can be. This manager really made us feel like we had a piece of trash of a truck and we were not welcomed there. A 2012 Ford F150 Platinum with 21,000 miles, and this is the treatment we received. I don't know how they can have managers like this working at a Toyota dealership. I will be sending this report to Toyota because they really need to address this type of treatment to customers. The sales department, awesome, but the service dept. sucks!!!!! Brought our truck in after the service department rotated the tires and the truck was pulling to the left. Well guess what the tires are no longer in service and recommended to take some where else the belt was messed up. Took the vehicle to Sears had to have all 4 tires changed. The sensor for tire pressure didn't match the Toyota sensor. So we had to pay for it!!!! I called the Toyota service dept to find out why, the person in the service dept. said his name Willis, then said Louis, guess what there is no Willis or Louis. I was furious being lied to, so I called to speak to the manager Jim Smith who informed me that when my called was transferred it might have to transferred to a Texas service dept. ????? I told him the person who lied about their name said the service manager was out for lunch. How did the guy in Texas know the service manager in Harvey, LA was out for lunch? Oh it is a new truck still under warranty and we had to pay for the service!!!! read more
