This is one of my go to spots for individual hot pot. I always come and get the beef mild hot soup, the prices increased from last time I went. I think it's only worth it if you go during lunch to get their free tea with your pot and it's a dollar cheaper! Overall the service was great and the soup wasn't too spicy but had lots of flavor and came out steaming hot. This is one of the few places where I love all the toppings in the pot
Yum! Loved this place and the options they have for a hot pot. Customize it a little more by adding your own "add ons", and pick your spice level. Mild was already too hot for me, so my next visit will be no spice - I'm pretty wimpy with spice, so know what you can take. We were seated immediately and given a few minutes to look at the menu before the awesome wait staff took our order. Not too busy on a Sunday around lunch time, but come 1:30 pm, there was a wait outside. Oh and you get an iced tea with your pot!
7/1. It's been a while since we came here to eat and it is just as good as ever. The server were all nice and the location is chilling inside but spacious. I always order the same beef w milk tea. The flavor was spicy and delicious. Don't be shy to ask for more soup. I did get an upgrade rice but unfortunately it fell short and lacked flavor. -1. I do enjoy a nice hot pot once in a while and hope they open one near Cupertino.

They have a birthday special where you can get a free pot and a drink. It can only be redeemed the day of your birthday and they will verify your ID. It's a really good deal! We came for lunch on Saturday and were seated immediately. We got the Beef and Lamb hot soup with rice and medium spice. We also got a lychee green tea but when you dine for lunch, it already comes with a free drink already. Both pots were good and their flame lasted the entire meal and kept the pot boiling. The lychee green tea was not the best. It tasted a watered down and half the cup was already ice. Staff was attentive and checked in on us. We also stopped by for dinner on a Monday and it was surprisingly busy! They had a waitlist set up on an iPad and they request that you wait outside until your table is ready. We waited for about 10 mins or so before we were seated. We tried the Japanese Miso (medium) and Taiwanese Spicy (only available in flaming spicy). We also got a mango aloe green tea. Please beware that the flaming spicy is actually really spicy! My partner likes to eat spicy foods but he couldn't handle it. We got the large pots this time so our pots never boiled and the flames died on its own. The mango drink was decent this time and it came with aloe! Not much tea flavor however and the taste is very similar to mango Kerns. It was still thirst quenching and definitely helped with the spice. This time around, the staff was not as attentive. We waited a bit before someone came and took our order and as we finished our meals, it was hard to flag someone down to pay the bill and get to-go containers. Overall, it is a decent hot pot spot with very good portions! We had leftovers each time we were there. I honestly prefer to go during lunch time since you get the free drink.
One of our favorite stops for individual hot pots, there's preset menu dishes and they have a seasonal rotating "special" for the rice for $1 upgrade! This time was a scallion gravy rice with a fragrant scallion oil with crunchy onion on top with fresh green onions as well. I always get their beef hot pot mild - seems unassuming at first but the heat does build as the soup boils away! There's a QR code menu but the servers come by to get your order and check on waters and broth! These hot pots have a candle underneath to keep it warm and boiling so they'll help you put it out as well. It's a casual dinner spot with lots of tables inside, plus there's a lot of dessert spots nearby after you're done!

I ended up ordering the Thai hot pot and my friend ordered the curry milk. We both got mild spice- which was plenty for me! I also ordered the green tea with grapefruit and my friend got the wintergreen tea- we both asked for less ice and I got less sweetness. We enjoyed our food- it came out quickly once we ordered. Overall: I can never go wrong with eating boiling point! Although it's the summer, boiling point is just so good! Went around lunch time and the workers were attentive and helpful! Great experience solo eating here.
The POS labeled 18% of $24 as $9.34 but in hindsight I don't think I should've tipped them that high because they gave my cousin with celiacs instant noodle in her hot pot when she specified she has a gluten allergy and requested to not include the instant noodle. I hope in the future management trains its employees to be conscientious about food allergies.
it's a shame that the cupertino location closed down... but anyway, boiling point gives u a free soup for your birthday! i tried the new bak kut teh soup base which did not taste like what it was supposed to be LOL but was still very tasty. my friends said the same about their kimchi soup bases, but hey, we love personalized hotpots xoxo big fan of the sauces, definitely use it for dipping! and spam the soup refills :P which is the same base for all... hmm maybe that's why it all ends up tasting similar LOL
Been here twice and I have to say it's been consistent every time. The portion is great and speedy service. Totally worth it. Broth was great. Good amount of toppings. This definitely satisfied my cravings after a post-concert day. If you follow their IG, there are influencers promoting deals for if you complete a survey card after your meal & use a discount code, you will get an appetizer for FREE. I got the taiwanese spicy, and the portions were large! Surprisingly, it wasn't as spicy as I remembered. My fire took awhile to get going cause they left the door open. And then it died pretty quickly. I didn't mind that it went out fast, but i did have to wait for a quite a bit to get it to boil. BP never disappoints and the space at this location isn't large but they do have good amount of seats. We didn't have to wait to get seated either so that was nice!

It leaned a little on the sweeter side, which balanced the heat nicely. Compared to Tasty Pot, which I find to be spicier overall, Boiling Point's broth feels more layered and flavorful. Tasty Pot brings strong heat, but sometimes it's just spicy without as much complexity behind it. It's honestly hard to pick a clear winner purely from a flavor standpoint, but I do think I slightly prefer Boiling Point overall. As for the complimentary drinks, the green tea tasted a bit watered down, while the wintermelon tea was quite sweet. My hot pot was a generous portion that I ended up having it for both dinner and leftovers later. Overall, Boiling Point left a strong impression, and I'd definitely consider going back when I'm craving a hearty, flavorful spicy hot pot. Note: parking in this plaza is very crazy~
Great rapid service, food was yummy, good beats but this place has to upgrade the restroom asap!!!! Bathroom was leaking so floor was very slippery garbage can was dirty and stained all around and there was no soap. It seems that's not their priority to maintain a bathroom but it speaks a lot about their establishment. I hope they can fix that soon so it can become a 5 star in my opinion.

I come here pretty often to get their beef medium with a side of rice. I love that you get free (certain) drinks during lunch hours. I normally get their winter melon juice or lychee green tea which is superr flavorful and sweet. The hotpot is really good. Comes with lots of toppings, veggies, and even vermicelli noodles (including the side of rice/ or noodles). Soup adds to the flavor! I love drinking it every once in a while. It's normally pretty busy whenever I go during lunch hours on the weekends. It takes a while for us to get seated since servers are normally busy cleaning the tables. Even when they have open tables, they normally take about 10-15 minutes to seat us. However, service is sometimes nice. They check in on us and ask if we want the fires turned off. Overall, food is 5/5 but service could be slightly improved. read more

Decided to stop by Boiling Point again after taking a pretty long break from it. I remember it being really good around 2018, but by 2021, the quality had gone downhill so much that we stopped coming. Today, I decided to give it another try, and to my surprise, it honestly felt like the 2018 Boiling Point was back! The pots tasted so much better than I remembered from 2021, and I really enjoyed the meal. I do miss a few things from before, though. Tea is no longer included and you only get water now, and they also don't have the lemon chia anymore to help cleanse your palate after the meal. Overall, I'm really happy I decided to give Boiling Point another chance. The food has definitely improved, and it was nice to enjoy it again after all these years. read more
Unfortunately have stopped going as they don't take AMEX and the new rewards system is pretty terrible. They basically give credits to your account and if you don't meet the voucher (e.g., you have a $35 meal and you have a $50 voucher, the employees do not ask you if you want to use said voucher and automatically apply it voiding the $15). I tried to talk to customer service about my credit vanishing and no luck. Food will always be there though, just not infront of me. read more

Let me start off by saying that the food was plentiful for the price and we went for my friend's birthday so it was worth it. The amount of food u get is definitely filling and when they let you pick hot. It is definitely spicy. The beef is my go to because the broth just warms me up and has the savoriness that i am looking for. read more
My family and I went during a dinner rush and they had a tablet for waitlists and to check in. The wait wasn't too long and we were seated quickly. I have not been to a boiling point in probably 10 years and it has changed significantly to my knowledge. They've really improved the quality and taste of their soup. (I went to the Fremont one). It was so tasty and I just love their broth and all the additions you can get. As a soup lover, this place hits the spot. read more

First time going to the NorCal location! After a long day, we were craving some soup and ended up driving to boiling point! We are incredibly grateful for the staff who were all working quickly and efficiently, especially since it was an hour before closing time and there were still a lot of people waiting for a table. Boiling Point, taste so fucking good, always look forward to enjoying it, had it yesterday but having it again today since it's th 15th for double membership points. Placed phone order and during pick up it was busy as usual, but straight to register for pick up. Miss "Phuong" rang me up and I asked to give her my phone number to take advance of double point and she's asks "why? What for?". I explained to add to my membership and she asked "do you already have an account or need a new one?". I said yes and she seemed annoyed. I paid and she says "next time tell me before hand". Came to Boiling Point to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, and we had such a great experience! I got the beef hot pot and he got the lamb pot -- both were delicious, super flavorful, and came out piping hot. The portions were generous and perfect for a cozy meal. The staff were really kind and even honored his birthday by giving his pot for free, along with a free drink -- we picked the passion fruit green tea with aloe vera, which was so refreshing and perfectly sweet. Such a nice gesture that made the night extra special. Overall, everything was great -- from the food to the service. Warm, hearty, and just what you'd want from a hot pot spot. Been here a few times but never remember to leave a review lol Food is good here. I love their pot options. The fire lasted longer than other hot pot places. Service was fast. Order came out pretty quick. You can ask for more soup to avoid burning the ingredients. It's a casual lunch place. Good for hanging out with friends. Plenty of boba places nearby too. Boiling Point has been one of my favorite hot spot restaurants for as long as I can remember. I always get the Beef pot, and bonus points if you come during lunch for a complimentary drink. I recently tried the Umami Beef Udon and it was great too! Can be sweet for some people, but I enjoyed the flavor. As for the location, the plaza is full with other restaurants so despite the large parking lot, you may have trouble finding a spot. There's usually a line, and you'll have to sign up for waitlist via kiosk at the front. I will note the restrooms for this location are not always the cleanest. Service is good though. read more
Came here at 5:30 on Labor Day and was seated really quick, which happened to be a good time because around 5:45 business started to pick up. The menu is available by scanning the QR code, and I stuck with my old reliable beef soup, medium spice. Despite it being super hot, boiling point always seems to hit the spot. Veggies were super fresh and the beef portion was really generous. My only complaint would be my corn piece was microscopic, but other than that, everything was really delicious! This is a great spot to do a solo dinner like I did or catch up with friends read more

I love this place! My favorite is the Korean bean paste soup, this is my go to every time I come here especially with the spinach wok noodles. Service is always quick as soon as you walk in the door someone is already attending you. The place is a bit small but, it's worth it for the amazing hot pots. This time around I took it to go and it's just as great, but obviously you get a better experience eating it at the restaurant. read more

My all time favorite place for Taiwanese hot pot! Super consistent no matter the location and I usually always finish my bowl no matter how full I am because it's THAT good. I usually get house special flaming spicy, and the other order was beef flaming spicy. Since it was lunch time, we also got our choice between green and wintermelon tea. (Wintermelon has my heart). Since I wasn't starving, I opted for the vermicelli as the carb rather than the rice. Special mention to the sauces!! It is not a BP meal without the sauce. I love a mixture of the chili oil and bean paste to dip the meat and veggies in for the perfect bite. It was clean inside and servers were attentive (there were only about 4 other parties at the time). The only complaint is that it gets quite cold when someone opens the door, as we were at a table right next to the entrance. Prices have gone up kind of significantly in the past couple of years; a bowl can cost you up to $25. But still worth it because I love them. Shares a parking lot with ranch 99, gen, and other popular places, so parking can be difficult during peak hours! read more

I was never a fan of boiling point. I've tried it twice before and was never crazy about it. But I decided to give it one last chance because my boyfriend wanted it for dinner. We came on a Tuesday around 7 PM and were able to be seated right away. Parking was easy to find at this time. There are QR codes at each table that you can scan to view their menu. I got the Milk Cream Curry ($22) and he got the House Special ($22). We also got a Spicy Cumin Lamb appetizer ($7.50). Despite my bad experiences before, I really enjoyed the Milk Cream Curry combo. The flavor was good and the mild spice level was spicy enough but not excessively spicy. The Spicy Cumin Lamb was also really good and the flavor resembled that of Chinese style skewers. I was not a fan of my boyfriend's House special but if you like the same flavors of stinky fermented tofu, you'll probably enjoy it. The portion was perfect because we finished everything and left feeling satisfied. read more
My craving for hot pot is very satisfied every time I come here! It's one of my favorite places to go. I usually get the taiwanese spicy or the milk curry pots. They're both super good in their own way. The milk curry has a creamier flavor that gives a break from the spice. But as a spice lover I do choose the taiwanese spicy. The portion size is great and ingredients taste fresh. The sauces on the table are everything too!! I wish I could take some home. They're just super flavorful and addicting to eat with all the meat and veggies. The pots always come out super quick and wait time is never more than like 10 minutes. It's a spacious dining area inside with comfortable seating and booths. Overall I'd definitely come back here again soon! read more
Been to this location a few times and I will say that they are stepping it up with more consistency now! I got their beef soup which had plenty of toppings and the broth was yummy. Not watered down whatsoever and of course their free tea during lunch is great too! So glad that this BP is improving and can't wait to eat more soup here! read more
